The last 3 days passed with Hiro and the other 3 introducing a new flavor everyday. There was also a new green Tea released on the 4th day.

On the 5th day, however...

The Stall cut the prices in half and opened the stall to everyone in the Festival, Teachers, Students, Customers, People, whoever. It didn't matter.

They got a massive influx of people. Every single person that passed by, bought a Pancake and Tea for a total of 175 Yen. The group was all smiles, but they were laughing on the inside. How many more people did they pull with that maneuver? There was around 1200~ students?

Student prices were impossible to be a statistic, because the Pancakes and Tea were unlimited, they continued buying. It wasn't as simple as a double calculation... Hiro noticed that some Students even came back more than 3 times with their little sweet tooths.

The people also started buying more than 2 servings, this was another psychological strike.

It was actually a one-two punch.

The human brain would subconsciously be alerted to the color red and the so-called discounts. They would most of the time spend more than they normally would because it's 'cheaper' but in reality they're only buying more of a product and spending more money than they normally would.

The Stall was dressed up in red lanterns, streamers, a red dragon decoration with the '50% off Today Only!' sign hanging from it.

The people started getting a bit riled up.

The significance of red was more inciting to the human brain. It triggered urgency and aggressivity in people subconsciously, while blue was a calming color. These were used nearly every day, in shops the discount signs were normally a red or orange whereas normal signs were blue or lighter colors.

It was even used in video games, there were only red and blue sides, why? Think about that.

Anyway, this wasn't psychology 101.

The discount sale turned out to be the right move as they easily doubled all their earnings for the past 4 days.

The group was happy and they went back to the dorm after submitting their earnings ledger to the school.

They rested after that grueling 5 day constant work period, but only for a few hours before they started their competition up again.

The school was bustling with rumors during the days after the Banquet.

"Hey! Did you hear?"

"What, I'm tryna fucking cook here, bro."

"Nah! Fuck that, come with me! The 3rd Seat Challenged that Demon bastard to release all the knives back to us!"

"WHAT?! WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY SOMETHING SOONER?!"

Hiro also got this information and frowned at the Shokugeki challenge in his hands. Zerotwo was fuming and said angrily "Who the fuck does this guy think he is?!" Fumio was helpless and said "Calm down, girl." Zerotwo was angry and said badly "This guy's specialty is Pizza and Italian Cuisine! He challenged Hiro to a Pizza Shokugeki and announced it to the whole school!"

He looked at Hiro and added "All this just to make himself look better and Hiro has to be the bad guy, if he doesn't accept people will make fun of him! That's it!" she got up and walked to the door with clenched fists "I'm going to beat him up!"

The entire dorm jumped and held her back saying "Zero-chan, please calm down! You can't just go beat people up!" Hiro looked at her and smiled warmly, what a good wife he has. He stood up and said "Well, I'll just have to put this 'Hero' in his place."

He chuckled maliciously "Not just ANYONE can be a Hero that beats bad guys..." as he walked to the kitchen and added "Plus..." before bursting into laughter "Heroes often die in battle." The dorm shivered and grinned in anticipation.

Fumio grinned "Start making signs! We gotta show these brats that the Polar Star dorm can't be pushed around!" the residents cheered and started making signs and pom-poms.
