A few months passed since Hiro challenged Fuji and basically the entire school.

He got Shokugeki's every day, hundreds of them. He accepted them all and was basically living in the Shokugeki arena.

Mei came by to the Polar Star dorm to meet with Hiro, she came with Megumin, but her eyes were on Hiro the entire time. Zerotwo didn't like that one bit. She was pretty confrontational and Mei fired back with her own sarcastic compliments.

Hiro instead talked to Megumin, the little loli, she said that the Mude family had a bunch of hands in all sorts of businesses. Hiro looked over the files Mei brought over, while she was arguing with Zerotwo, he started a plan.

He called Senzaemon and talked with him about seizing the Mude family's assets, Senzaemon told him he could do whatever he wanted. Hiro said that, that was perfect and started.

He directly bought out the Manager of the processing factory and had him instigate a revolt within the ranks, promising him that when Hiro took over they would get double the pay for their obviously, bare minimum wages.

He also bought out the Mude family farms, but left the restaurants alone.

He travelled to the farms and looked at them personally, before reviewing the information from Mei and Megumin. He was satisfied with the farms and talked with the farmers there to get their opinion on a change of ownership.

The farmers replied honestly that they were barely breaking even with what the Mude family was paying them and sincerely hoped the Hiro could offer them more. They had no choice really, since they needed money to live and feed their families.

Hiro nodded and replied that he would see what he could do for them before leaving.

He called Mei and said that he wanted her to influx the stock market, forcing the Mude family's stocks to plummet. He conferenced Megumin and offered them both 8% each, it was going to be 5% but Mei talked him up. He said that he would give them 8% or he would do it himself.

The girls gave up and accepted 8% before starting to work.

Within the month, the Mude family's stocks plummeted as their son's actions and true self was spread to the public. Hiro swooped in and offered the Mude family a way out. He offered them to buy all their assets for 500 Million USD, basically buying out the Mude family and all their shareholders, he wanted 100% of everything.

The Mude family was in dire straights as they really didn't have an option but the head of the family refused and Hiro said that this was the highest price he would offer, if they came to him again it would be much lower.

They still refused and Hiro ended the conversation with a smile and 'I'll be waiting for your next call.' After he hung up, he called Mei and smashed the final nail in the coffin. The Mude family's dark underbelly was revealed to the public.

Hiro bribed a few news companies, who refused the Mude family's insistence on keeping quiet. After all, they were on Hiro's payroll.

The next few days, were the darkest for the Mude family. Their son's reputation plummeted and people were even clamoring for him to be in prison after he sexually assaulted a young girl after blackmailing her, leading her to take her own life.

This was a serious crime!

Not only this but, the fact that the Mude family, wasn't as innocent as they seemed. Cutting pay for many farmers and factory workers, underpaying them to such a degree that they were almost working for free.

Worker's rights seemed to be nonexistent and there were even rumors that the food factories were actually just covers for illegal substances, labeling them with a 'Black Market' tag.

Finally after a week, Hiro got a call from the Mude family head.

Hiro gave him the low price of 100 Million for everything. They had no choice but to agree. Hiro finalized the transaction and bought everything the Mude family owned for 100 Million USD, a tenth of the price he should've paid.

Not that it mattered as Hiro had infinite money.

Nevertheless, it was quite nice to earn money like this.

He washed the factories and farms clean, closed the restaurants and built Inns in their place, focused on a Mom and Dad restaurant/inn. He completely changed the face of the Mude family's business and gave 16% to Mei and Megumin.

He revisited the farms and replaced all the crops with his own seeds, spiking the water with healing potions and Impurity Cleanses. The grass was fresher, the crops were more lively, causing the animals to be healthier and better for cooking.

He raised the wages of all the workers to 2.5x minimum. They were earning enough to thrive, Hiro was very generous to them. He wanted them to work hard and gave them all the benefits they deserved and should get, hiring a company medical team, psychiatrist, etc.

The workers were getting the best of the best for treatment, but Hiro wanted to be hands off, so after settling the Company, all their assets, hiring people, cleansing the corruption inside, etc. He stepped back and appointed Mei and Megumin to manage it, increasing their shares to 15% each.

He still owned 70% as he had no need to sell shares for funds.

It made money by itself and he only needed to keep in touch with the two girls is there was an issue.

It was so difficult managing a company, leave it to the girls, step in when there's a problem, live life peacefully, isn't that better?

He named the company 'Ambrosia' and Mei started getting clients for their fresh stock that Hiro had provided so they can get the ball rolling right away, the other crops would need to wait for a while, but there was enough stock to spare.

Senzaemon partnered with Hiro, connecting the companies and granting him his connections. The Nakiri clan representative was Soe and he met with Hiro on several occasions. Hiro appreciated Soe's serious demeanor though he felt that he should loosen up sometimes.

Soe was adamant on being serious.

Hiro didn't force him and they did business, selling food to the Nakiri clan, Senzaemon reviewed the food. Just because he favored Hiro didn't mean he would ruin his company and reputation just to please him.

Thankfully, the food was the best food there was on the market! Even better than their own supplier! Hiro refused to share details and Senzaemon gave him a smack before leaving the questions behind him and demanding that the Nakiri owned restaurants get the first and freshest stock.

Hiro agreed and Mei set it up right away, Megumin was in charge of the other clans, while Mei handled all business 'Nakiri'. Hiro had to admit, she was quite capable! He directly told her that whoever married her would be a lucky man and she strangely blushed and got angry at the same time.

Hiro ignored the girl and focused on himself, he was in hot water at the moment. Zerotwo was upset that he was in contact with Mei so much and Hiro told her that she was his assistant, he had to talk to her, plus she wasn't that bad! She was quite the assistant! Very handy and capable!

Zerotwo pouted and Hiro hugged her, telling her that nobody could replace her in his heart, there was only room for one woman and it was Zerotwo. He didn't even feel anything for other women, she was happy with the coaxing, even though she knew he was coaxing her, she didn't mind because she could feel that it came from the heart.

He wasn't lying to her, that was the best feeling in the world for her.

After that conversation, they had a different conversation consisting of moans and grunts.

Very quickly, it was finally the time for the Promotion Exams. The final task before the second year.

Hiro was mentally and physically prepared, he looked at his cabinet and the 10 spots were only missing a single knife. He wasn't worried about the exams, but what came after the exams.

The challenge he wanted was coming and it was coming fast.
