Hiro returned back to the Residence and took a shower saying "Bloodline Fusion, start." he roared in pain and punched the wall of the shower, cracking the tiles as his eyes turned slightly more blue than before and his canines sharpened just a little bit.

A while later

Hiro groaned and cleaned himself before dragging his heavy body back to his room and flopping on his bed. He looked in front of him at a light screen showing quests.

Hiro rolled over in his bed and reached into his pillow before taking out the Zerotwo plushie, he hugged it close and muttered "Last ride, eh..." he chuckled and mumbled "We'll see about that..." before falling asleep.

The next morning

Hiro rolled out of bed and plopped on the floor, Goro sat up with half opened eyes as he mumbled "Ichigo? I knew you liked me..." before falling back into his dreams. Hiro looked at Goro speechlessly before spinning the Zerotwo plushie into a hair tie and putting his messy bun back in place as he did his push-ups, sit-ups, and crunches.

After that, he took a shower and left wearing workout clothes, leaving his new clothes for a new day.

He jogged to the Solo-bot and continued to train with it, coughing out blood into a bucket he brought with him. Hehe, he was injured. Thankfully nobody knew, or else he would be sat back in the residence away from his Angel. That's a no-no.

After he completed his training and 10 Mile run, getting a Mystery Chest, he put the bot back and showered before leaving his training suit on. He walked to the Franxx docking bay, he walked next to Zerotwo and looked up at Strelizia saying "What's wrong?"

Zerotwo suddenly said "Do you think I'm a monster?" Hiro replied "A very cute monster." Zerotwo looked at him and said "Seriously." Hiro looked at her and smiled "Because you have horns? Because you have Klaxosaur blood in you?" Zerotwo was silent and looked down with her fists clenched.

Hiro held her cheeks and lifted her head, making her look at him in the eyes as he said "You ask my if you're a monster, but you're more human than the others. So what if you have horns, or Klaxosaur blood? Even if your horns were 10x longer and you had red skin, I would still..."

He pursed his lips and said "I would still want to ride with you." Zerotwo was dazed and said "You..." he smiled and wiped her tears away as he said "You're a monster. A big, scary, monster, but you're also the monster that happens to light up my world! So! Snap out of it Angel, whether you're a monster or not, I don't care. You're mine and that's all that matters."

Zerotwo started crying and smiled brightly as she said "Hiro, I-" a loud alarm went off and Hiro chuckled, Zerotwo shouted "Argh! Fuck! Why does everything keep doing that?!" he rubbed his nose and said "Dramatic affect?" Zerotwo rolled her eyes and said "Stay here, I'm going to get changed."

Hiro blurted out "Can I come?" before slapping his forehead, Zerotwo giggled and skipped away saying "Maybe another time~" He felt his blood rush right to his head and his nose started bleeding, Zerotwo's beautiful laughter rang in the air as she disappeared.

Hiro cleaned his nose and cursed "Fucking anime logic! Now I look like a pervert!" Clank chimed "You are a pervert." Hiro roared "I don't have to show it do I!?" Clank just chuckled and Hiro kicked the ground, grumbling.

A while later

Zerotwo and Hiro were standing with Nana in the mission room. Nana said "Don't think putting on your suits thinks we'll deploy Strelizia." Zerotwo threw her hands to the side and smirked playfully "We didn't say that, so you're the one thinking it."

Hiro chuckled and pulled Zerotwo close to him. She smiled and looked at him, he smiled back but he was tensing up on the inside.

They watched the 4 Franxx fight Klaxosaurs and Zerotwo chimed "Just saying, this wouldn't happen if we were out there right now.." Nana said sternly "Out of the question!" Zerotwo clicked her tongue before narrowing her eyes and saying "By the way... That transport that just landed... Who's in it?"

Suddenly, a dozen armed men with guns rushed in and trained their guns on Zerotwo.

Hiro pulled Zerotwo behind him as the Guard said "Code: 002, you're coming with us." Nana added "Your escorts, and I'd obey them if I were you. Zerotwo, as I said before, you're going back to the front lines... by yourself, of course."

The guard walked over and said "Let's go. It's easier to leave when that Klaxosaur is preoccupied.." he reached out his hand and Hiro grabbed his wrist saying coldly "Don't touch her with your filthy hands." as he kicked the man in the chest, sending him flying across the room.

The rest of the guards trained their guns on Hiro and said "Freeze!" Hiro growled "You want to take her, you're going to have to kill me." Zerotwo said "Hiro..." the guard flipped on his gun and red dots lined Hiro's body.

The guard said "Back off! I have no problems killing a cadet." Hiro sneered "Shoot then. Pull the trigger. You better hope you hit me, because if you don't you might not get another chance." the guard was about to squeeze the trigger, when Zerotwo said "Stop! I'll go."

Hiro said "Zerotwo, you-" she pressed her finger on his lips, walking out from behind him, as she said "Shush. Looks like our time is up, Darling..." she held his cheeks and added "Though I wish it wasn't... I honestly believed things could work out between the two of us. I truly wanted to be with you... But now, this is goodbye..." she teared up and lowered her head, bumping her horns against his forehead.

Hiro was dazed and looked at Zerotwo, who backed off saying through tears "Goodbye, Darling..." before being taken away.

Hiro watched as she was taken away. The light of his life was slowly drifting away from him. His world was slowly getting darker and darker, his Zerotwo, his love, his happiness, HIS EVERYTHING. The door closed and Hiro saw a tear fall from her face before the door closed fully.

Hiro was in a daze and angry. Very, very, angry. He finally knew what love was, his life needed her in it or it wouldn't be worth living! His eyes flashed blue and Nana said "Hiro, it was a direct order from Papa."

Hiro roared "Papa can go fuck himself! I don't give a fuck about orders! I care about my Angel!" he dashed out of the room and threw the hallways, he smashed into a light screen and shouted "Zerotwo!"

Zerotwo and the guards looked over before continuing. Zerotwo turned her head again and again, Hiro said "Fucking light screen!" he punch on the light screen but nothing happened. He grinded his teeth and looked up, he ran back before turning around and looking at the glass.

He jumped on his feet and took a few quick breaths, a passing guard shouted "Hey you! Stop!" Hiro grinned "Fuck you!" before running to the gate and jumping into the air, throwing a punch at the glass with his momentum.

Zerotwo and the guards heard a shattering sound and turned to see Hiro smashing through the glass above the gate and landing on the bridge. He continued running on the bridge and jumped on the railing, before jumping over the next gate and kicking through the glass above it before running along the escalators to where Zerotwo was.

He had no time to care about how badass that was and continued running. He landed on the floor and the guards pointed their guns at him saying "Stop, or we'll shoot!" Zerotwo was stunned, completely stunned. He smashed through 2 glass panels... for her?

Hiro ignored them and ran right towards them, they didn't hesitate and shot at the 15 year old. Hiro felt his mind buzzing and he twisted his body, lunging to the ground and pushing off it with his hand, flying into the air.

He kicked the first guard in the chest and took his gun before shooting the other two in the shoulders. He threw the gun to the side and scooped up Zerotwo in a princess carry as more guards showed up. He narrowed his eyes and ran back to the escalators, the guards shouted "There they are!"

Hiro jumped on the railing and slid down, looking serious. Zerotwo looked at his face in a daze and Hiro sprinted to the loading docks for transport ships. Zerotwo said "Darling, you-" Hiro cut her off and said with a serious face "Zerotwo, when you left before, my entire world turned dark. I felt lost without you, endlessly wandering in darkness, becoming alone again. I..."

Zerotwo looked at him with her mouth open slightly, Hiro sighed and said "I don't know what Love is but every time I'm with you I have this bubbly feeling inside, it makes me warm, happy, and lights up the world around me. Every time I see you smile I want to smile myself, I want to make you laugh and listen to your sweet voice, I- I- I think I love you, Zerotwo."

Zerotwo felt a bomb go off in her brain, she blanked completely. 'He- He- He said he loves me?!' her face turned pink, then deep red, spreading to her ears as her eyes were covered in tears, looking at Hiro with an indescribable emotion.

He looked at her and was really nervous, he just kind blurted all that out by accident. Not that he didn't mean it, he meant every word, but he felt really nervous and scared. He really might just drop her and jump off the railing if she said 'I like you as a friend'

Zerotwo caressed his cheek and said "Hiro..." Hiro gulped and she could feel the fear in his eyes, it made her heart ache. They got to the transport ship, a guard point the gun at Hiro who stomped on the ground and leaned forward before, sprinting, pushing off the ground, covering Zerotwo in his arms as he smashed the guard with his shoulder, sending him flying, as he ran to Strelizia.

Zerotwo squirmed out of his hands and ran forward, taking out a group of guards. Hiro stopped and looked at his hands, they were trembling, suddenly Zerotwo shouted. He looked up and she had the most gentle smile he had ever seen, she was incredibly beautiful at that moment, she held out her hand and said "I... I love you too, Darling... Come with me."

Hiro's brain overloaded, he took her hand subconsciously and Zerotwo giggled sweetly, grabbing his hand as she ran towards Strelizia, Hiro was dazed, waving behind her like a flag. He started giggling like a crazy person, Zerotwo smiled happily and typed in the codes on a stand, that opened up Strelizia's hatch.

Hiro came back to reality as Zerotwo brought him into Strelizia. He looked at her and she looked at him. Time stopped for a second before she kissed him deeply, pushing him back into the Stamen chair.

Their lips separated and Hiro had a big goofy smile on his face, Zerotwo giggled and appeared a bit shy. He said "I love you." Zerotwo blinked before laughing and getting into the Pistil chair saying softly "I love you too, Darling~"

Hiro shivered in delight and grabbed the handles, she moaned slightly and Hiro said happily "You ready, Angel?" Zerotwo smiled widely and replied sweetly "Yes, Darling~!" Hiro grinned and pushed the handles forward saying "Then let's give them a show!"
