The next morning

Hiro was stretching, finishing his morning routine. Zerotwo was with him and yawned cutely. Hiro gave her a big kiss and smiled, she purred and said "Hubby~ I love you." Hiro smiled and kissed her again saying "Hah... Not as much as I love you." she pouted "Me more!" he shook his head and said "Impossible."

She pouted and followed him out of the room to the lobby, where stations were set up everywhere. She said "Me more for sure!" before skipping away and humming to herself. Hiro sighed and smiled lovingly at her back, she spun around and blew him a kiss before going to her station.

He scratched his neck and smiled happily, the old man made an announcement when everyone got there. He looked at everyone and said "You will be serving breakfast to the guests! The main ingredient will be Bacon. You start right now."

As the doors opened and guests flooded in.

Hiro started working immediately, he grabbed a bunch of bacon stacks and cut half into uniform strips as he turned on several pans. He took the other half of the stack of bacon and diced it into little squares before doing the same to a bunch of potatoes, seasoning the oil in the pan and throwing all the bits inside.

He sprinkled salt and a pinch of pepper into the pan and tossed it a few times, kicking out a wisp of flames, attracting the attention of the guests. Hiro said "You might want to come quickly, folks!" as he beat a bowl of batter and poured out pancakes into a pan, adding strips of cooked bacon to them before flipping them.

He had 12 pans going at once and he was making more. He cheated a little bit, using his hearing to tell when a dish was ready. As he made more pancake mix, he flipped all the pans and plated each plate with 2 pancakes and a generous spoonful of the Potatoes and Bacon bits. He added a slice of butter and maple syrup to half of them and said "One half has syrup, the other half doesn't incase some of you are allergic or have certain health conditions."

With a cool smile, he continued, working like a machine making his Bacon Pancakes and Bacon hash. He smiled at a little girl and said "Hold on a sec." as he poured another pancake, added bacon and flipped it.

He handed her a plate with a pancake shaped like a cat and smiled as she said "Wooooah! Cool! Thanks, Onii-chan!" Hiro just chuckled and said "No problem, kid." as he continued, making different shapes and animals, serving those instead of the boring round pancakes.

The guests ate it up! They loved the shapes!

Some even requested shapes and Hiro did as they say, within 5 minutes they had intricate pancakes.

Hiro lost count of how many people he served, but was a lot. Everyone else of their group served the guests as well and met the 200 dishes quota, but a lot of people missed out on it and were expelled.

The days passed

The group passed the training/culling camp and returned back to the Campus and Polar Star Dorm with high spirits.

They were told by Fumio that the Autumn Elections were coming up, she explained that it was a tournament of sorts and that they were all participating, having been selected to participate. Hiro asked if the Elite 10 were allowed to participate and Fumio said that they could but most of the time they didn't, because they didn't feel like it.

She said that it just wouldn't be fair to the rest if they did.

Hiro frowned and asked for a list of the Elite 10. Fumio gave him a list that she had. Hiro looked at it with Joichiro, Zerotwo, and Gin. Hiro's eyes were glued to the 1st Seat, it wasn't for the reward or the fame.

This fucking guy was a Patissier!

Hiro looked at the year and he was in his 3rd year! He had a deep sense of crisis. He wanted to beat this man for himself! I didn't like that he was a Patissier like him, Hiro felt a strong urge to go challenge him right now but held back.

He left the list and grabbed his Cabinet, leaving the dorm. The rest watched him go and chuckled, following him. They wanted to do something crazy too!

Hiro and the other 3 arrived at the Shokugeki arena and Hiro was immediately booed. He went to the stage and swiped the Microphone, holding the little loli back as she raged at him, yet again. He brought the mic to his lips and said "Megumin Takeyoshi! I'm challenging your for the 10th seat on the Elite Ten!"

The entire arena went dead silent as they looked at Hiro in shock and fear. Zerotwo, Joichiro, and Gin grinned and Joichiro took the Mic saying "Toshido Kimetsu! I'm challenging you for the 9th seat!" Gin followed "Rin Sakuraba! I'm challenging you for the 8th seat!"

Zerotwo said "Um... I'll take the 7th seat then."

The entire arena, all the students, the judges, even the animals around the building, all paled in fear and shock before erupting into scared mumbles. The 4 stood on the stage and Hiro added "Oh right, I also want you knife!" with a sadistic grin, the crowd started booing him again and he laughed.
