6 Achievement Unlocked!

Hiro was changing in the locker room, in front of a locker that had '016' on it. He was talking to Clank "Why is the main mission to kill the Klaxosaurs?" Clank said "The Klaxosaur Queen won't listen to reason anyway. What are you going to do? Talk it out after so many of them died? The hatred is deep, they won't stop so who cares?"

Hiro took off his clothes and said "I guess... But wouldn't the true target be the VIRM?" Clank replied "The VIRM are in Space, only 3 are on the planet at the moment. Plus, I'm pretty sure if you wanted to murder the 'God' in the eyes of the people, you wouldn't be appreciated much by the people."

Hiro sneered "God in the eyes of the people, what a joke. The people are retarded anyways, living forever without reproductive organs... Wouldn't the race die out? Nobody thought of this? I mean, I guess whoever did was terminated pretty quickly..."

Clank responded "Can't have too many smart people." Hiro sighed "Ain't that the truth." Goro nudged his shoulder and said "Hey, you alright, man?" Hiro blinked and said "Yeah, thanks." he was elbowed in the back and a voice sounded "Outta my way! I don't believe for a second you piloted a Franxx before us! A wuss like you!? Come on!"

Hiro looked behind him with a frown, it was Zorome (Code: 666) Hiro's eyes were cold and he put on the black compression shorts before leaving without a word. Goro looked at Zorome and said "What's your problem?"

Zorome said "What? You believe he piloted that thing?!" Goro said with a frown "It doesn't matter whether I believe it or not. You don't have to keep bringing it up. He's obviously acting different since the failure." Zorome snorted and said "What do I care?"

Goro said "You... Whatever, man. You don't have to be rude." as he left as well.

A while later

Hiro was practicing with the Solo-manned training mech. He was running around the Plantation with narrowed eyes, he didn't particularly like being pushed around. Hiro from before had a soft personality, if he suddenly did a 180 the VIRM would notice.

Especially since he's on their radar already as a 'Special Subject'. For now, he didn't have the power to start fighting aliens. It was better to start learning how to control a Franxx to it's peak, when he's a God in the mech, then he will worry about other things.

For now, follow the plot.

Later, revenge.

Hiro was running, jumping, spinning in the solo bot and speaking to Clank, trying to focus on 2 things at once as he said "Why don't I have a Franxx control skill?" Clank sneered "You think you can just suddenly became amazing at piloting Franxx? It's the same with the cooking talent. You can get the talent but you're not automatically the best chef in the world. You have to take time and work on your craft. I'm sure you noticed."

Hiro replied "Yeah. I can cook but its more of a feeling than specific instructions... Otherwise, why would I need to fix it afterwards? Hais... When is the Piloting talent going to show up?" Clank snorted and said "Not too long, it's based on experience and enhances it accordingly. Basically-"

Hiro cut him off saying "Yeah, yeah, do something for a while, get the skill, twice the results half the effort. I get it. Why aren't there more quests, is part of the system locked?" Clank said "You can say that..."

Hiro frowned and said "Listen Clank, I don't want to hear you say that I can't know yet. I don't care about what you can't tell me, just tell me what's available to me now." Clank hummed and a screen appeared in front of Hiro.

Hiro looked under [Main Quest] and saw a new tab flashing with a blew light. He pressed on it and it opened up with a long list. He scrolled through them and read them all, memorizing them in his mind.

Hiro looked at the new [Quests] tab and said "These are optional, correct?" Clank just 'dinged'. Hiro looked at the quests and muttered "What are the rewards for normal Mystery Chests?" Clank replied "1 item, power, bloodline, or talent of any rarity. The Legendary Mystery Chest is a Guaranteed SSS."

Hiro nodded and continued training in the Solo-Bot until nightfall.

The next day

Hiro was coming back from his run and wiping his sweat with a towel. Yesterday he trained in the Solo-bot until he unlocked the OmniVehicle Talent. It was still at the Basic level. He found out, other than the Cooking Talent and possibly a few others, the normal talents were divided into (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, Superior, Distinguished, Origin, and Transcendent)

Distinguished was the top of the top in terms of Human achievement and Origin was a step above that. Clank didn't tell him how to get Origin level, but he didn't worry about it. He was nowhere near that and he had an idea from the name.

He completed his 10 Mile run and looked at the [Daily Quest]

He assumed the first daily quest was the only special reward and the rewards from here on out would be Mystery Chests. Not that he was upset with that, after all, he had a chance to get something better from them.

While he was in his thoughts a soccer ball flew to his head, he covered his head and blocked the soccer ball with his arm. He was angry and he heard Zorome shout "Bullseye! I'm number 1! Sorry pal, I really thought you were going to be able to dodge that! Where have you been? Playing with yourself in a Training Unit? That IS the best you can do."

Hiro looked at Zorome coldly and walked towards him, Zorome said "What? You want to fight me? Huh!?" Hiro clenched his fist and punched him right in the face. Zorome fell on his ass and held his nose with a face full of anger.

Hiro narrowed his eyes and said "We're not friends. We're barely even comrades. Don't talk like we're very familiar, 666." before walking away with his fists clenched and his teeth gritted. He walked into the residence and slammed the door, leaving Mitsuru and Futoshi stunned.

The rest came out and saw Zorome with blood on his face, Goro said in shock "What happened?!" Zorome shouted "That bastard, 016 hit me!" Ichigo was stunned and mumbled "It must be that Partner Killer..." Goro said "Futoshi, what really happened?"

Futoshi got a glare from Zorome and Goro took off his glasses and cleaned them as he said "I'll sneak you some candies..." Futoshi said immediately "Zorome hit Hiro with a ball and then he made fun of Hiro, then Hiro punched him in the face."

Goro took out a few candies from his pockets and threw them towards Futoshi before walking away. Ichigo was already gone.

Hiro was completing his daily quest, doing his push-ups in his room. He looked ahead of him as he did them. There was a screen in front of him.

[Quest Complete! Don't let others step on you! You've received 1x Mystery Chest!]

Hiro looked at the Mystery Chest and continued completing his daily quest.

A few minutes later

There was a knock on the door, Goro walked in and saw Hiro doing crunches on the ground. He sat on his own bed, since it was a double room, and said "Heard what happened." Hiro didn't answer and Goro pushed up his glasses before continuing "Don't let him get to you. Sometimes, I want to punch him in the face too."

Hiro paused for a moment before asking "Why don't you?" as he continued. Goro blinked before laughing "I don't know... I don't have the nerves... I mean, to punch someone in the face.. That takes a lot of guts, Hiro. You're my idol."

Hiro blanked out before laughing and sitting on the ground, finished his daily quest. He said "Do you want to learn how to fight with me, Goro?" Goro was stunned and said "F-F-Fight!? Like, w-w-with your fists!?" Hiro smiled and nodded, Goro looked nervous and said "Well, I don't know..." Hiro looked disappointed and Goro finally sighed before smiling "Alright, let's do it."

Hiro blinked and smiled happily, putting his fist out. Goro smiled and they bumped fists. Hiro took his fist back and got up saying "I'm gonna shower." Goro nodded and Hiro left, Goro suddenly slapped his forehead and said "Damn! I forgot to tell him about the meeting! Wait, Hiro!" as he ran out.

A while later

Hiro was sitting in a meeting room. There were 3 rows of semi-circle ledges that can be used as chairs. Hiro was on the far right, 3rd row, Zerotwo was sitting near him and looking at him happily. He was looking at her as well, barely paying attention.

He suddenly said "A mock-battle?" Hachi nodded and Nana said "That is correct." Hachi added "And depending on how well you do, we may promote you to Parasite." Hiro was stunned and Goro gave him a thumbs up, Hiro smiled and Hachi continued "Pick your partner, an-"

Zerotwo cut him off saying "I'll do it." Hiro scratched his neck and looked at Zerotwo with affection, she looked back at him and said sweetly "After all, you are MY Darling~" Hiro felt his soul shake in excitement.

Suddenly, a hand shot into the air.

Ichigo said "Wait just a moment. Please, allow me to be his partner. With all due respect, she's not part of our squad. Besides, if the purpose is to test Hiro's aptitude, it should work just as well with me." Hiro was sour and Zerotwo also scowled, they both thought in unison 'What's this bitch's problem?'

Hiro was particularly peeved, he wanted to ride with Zerotwo again, it almost felt as good as sex. Plus, he really didn't like spending time away from her. Though, Goro was a nice guy, he was hoping that their Fight training would help alleviate his loneliness.

The main part was, he wanted to be with Zerotwo! Evidently, in the presence of Zerotwo, all quests and his brain were thrown as far away as possible. He didn't even remember he had a quest to ride with her again, which was ironic considering his Photographic memory.

Mitsuru said "But why does it have to be you of all people? Don't forget, you already have a partner, yet you want ride with someone else?" Nana said "That's enough." she looked at Zerotwo and continued "Zerotwo, HQ has not authorized the use of Strelizia at this time." she turned back to the rest and added "The only way for Hiro to do the mock-battle is to partner with someone from his squad."

Zerotwo clicked her tongue and said to Ichigo "Make the most of this one time. It won't happen again." her expression was ugly and she walked out of the room with her fists clenched. Hiro watched her go and opened his mouth before closing it and sighing.

Hachi said "Does anyone want to volunteer as their opponents?"

Zorome shot his hand up, Miku said "Excuse me! Shouldn't we talk about this!?" Zorome whispered "Just back me up!" Miku grumbled and said "We'll do it..." Hachi nodded and said "The battle will be tomorrow." Zorome stood up and said "Wait, wait, wait! Why can't we just duke it out right now?"

Hiro said "Whatever." before leaving the room, adding "I'm going to shower." as the door closed behind him. Ichigo said "Hiro..." but was ignored.

Hiro was in the shower and said "Open all Mystery Chests." Clank dinged and a screen appeared in front of Hiro with 2 chests that opened. Both glowed with multicolored light as they opened. Hiro's face turned green at the rewards.

Hiro smashed his head into the wall and groaned in embarrassment. Clank started laughing hysterically as Hiro took out the Zerotwo Plushie and looked at it. He squeezed it nd a voice was heard "Darling~"

Clank laughed even louder and Hiro returned it to the Item space, his face completely red in embarrassment and shame.
