'CREEAAAKKK' the door opened loudly as Laurice came in she felt such sorrowful aura floating in the house. "Klein?" she took off her shoes before the door, she kept calling his name but no one answered, she went upstairs and opened the door of his room seeing him laying down on his bed covered in sheets. 'has he eaten?' she closed the door and went down feeling calm yet still have a heavy feeling inside of her.

'have I made a mistake,' she continued to chop vegetables, 'chop! chop! chop! chop!'

she sighed while pondering 'how did he know,' her thoughts keep getting in her mind of what had she done wrong,

Klein shifted on his bed facing his ceiling, 'I can't sleep, why is that,' he sat on his bed remembering what he said to Tristan. 'did I hurt him,' he asked himself with a heavy feeling and craving for company, 'why did I, did that stupid thing in the world. I finally have someone to accompany me but why does it all go wrong,' he stared at his phone wanting to contact him,

'RIIIIINNNNGGGGGG' his phone suddenly rang in the middle of the night, he answered "yes?" without knowing the contactor, "why are you still awake?" Tristan asked. "why did you call me?" Klein asked him, "I dialed the wrong number, I'm sorry, goodnight," he ended the call without letting Klein talk to him for a while.

'is he ignoring me-' Klein sighed when he lay down on his bed, he turned on his left side glancing at his phone,

'why is this bothering me... I want to sleep~ for god's sake...' suddenly he started asking himself out of the blue, 'how did he get my number? did I give it to him?' he asked himself randomly.

'no shit sherlock, I look like a gloomy sleep-deprived who's still alive, wow I'm probably immortal I guess,' {he lack sleep for several weeks while ignoring Tristan}

'man... another wicked day,' he walked through the sidewalks gloomily, 'did he even eat his breakfast, what's with this gloomy walk,' Evans and Laurice followed him through the university without getting caught.

[12:00 am...]

The same thing happened at lunch, they followed him around, they stared at him while Klein rested his head on the bench stressed and lost in his thoughts. 'it's just a normal day for him I guess,' Evans thought, 'he has his mother's beauty... gosh' Laurice admired behind Evans.

"what do you both want from me?" he looked in their direction trying to stop them from following him, 'they've been following me this morning, they thought I didn't notice their sharp stares,' he positioned himself waiting for them to show themselves.

'how unpredictable...' Evans came out from a near tree along with Laurice, "your tactic is useless Evans," Klein stated facts that are sharp as a knife. Evans felt stabbed by his facts 'alright...', "what are you both doing here? don't you have work?" he asked with his brows raised as if he's showing dominance to two puppies.

"it's lunchtime," Laurice scratched her neck while looking in the other direction, "go have lunch, I still have errands to do," he stood from his chair leaving them with an icy farewell, 'wow he got his father's personality, my god...' both of them thought.

[7:49 pm...]

Klein sat on a swing in the park where they both walked in, 'I can't believe I'm here again, It's cold but why do I feel like coming here,' he took a sip of the hot tea he bought while playing with the swing and staring at the snowy ground.

"I wanna play with the snow..." he said randomly, "then go play," a familiar voice came out of nowhere, he looked around and saw a man in a thick coat, and slick-backed hair.

'Tristan...' his eyes became round as he looked at him, he suddenly turned his back on Klein, "I'm sorry, I shall keep my distance from you like I said, since I'm a man of my words," as he stepped forward Klein stopped him.

"don't!... don't go just yet," he immediately stood from the swing to stop him, Tristan stopped stepping forward and was forced to stop the urge to look at his face. "Tristan!" he tries to walk towards him, Tristan gave up and looks willingly through his dashing eyes. "Klein..." he muttered and smiled,

"I thought we're gonna distance ourselves from now on? what happened?" he mocked Klein as he got closer to him. "I didn't mean to do that at all," he stared in another direction, Tristan suddenly embraced him tightly yet tenderly, Klein slowly accepts his tender embrace. "have you felt so lonely without me?" he teased, "don't rub it in or I'll kick your nuts," he buried his face in his embrace...

hail began to pour between these two, both of them smiled while embracing each other warmly, it's like beautiful scenery in every romance novel and movie, full of emotions yet mysteries beginning to unfold, Klein wrote paragraphs before the night to tell him how he truly feels, but he didn't bother to tell him because he didn't think of it as important in their 'friendship'.

they walked away from the playground joking around with each other, throwing each other's snowballs, and witnessing such mature advice from each other, they didn't think they'll get along well without any barriers around them. "Klein..." he looked at Tristan immediately as he called his name, "It's fun being around with you," he said as he leaned closer with his hair ruffled with snow, "I think so too, I've never felt so much fun with someone,"

to be continued...
