Chapter 30: Choices and Departures

Gavi, Aryan, and Dhurv found themselves in a precarious situation. With their past lives shattered and no stable source of income in this unfamiliar world, they faced a daunting decision.

Dhurv, with his frank demeanor, revealed his previous occupation as a woodcutter. The simplicity of his work was punctuated by the fact that he struggled to secure a job due to his, let's say, less than stellar IQ. But, he seemed content with his current path.

Gavi, however, had different plans. He had no intention of returning to the city from which he had been unceremoniously transported. The mere thought of confronting Nikshay, his once-close friend turned betrayer, filled him with an uncontrollable rage. Instead, he proposed an alternative.

"Why don't we stay here and make something of our own?" Gavi suggested, looking at Dhurv, who seemed open to the idea.

Aryan, however, vehemently disagreed. He painted a grim picture of the city they now found themselves in, a place teeming with criminal gangs, ruthless mafia, and powerful cartels. "Are you out of your mind?" he exclaimed. "Staying here is suicide. Do you even understand how this city operates? I won't be a part of this madness."

Without waiting for a response, Aryan abruptly left the room, his footsteps echoing into the distance.

As the door closed behind Aryan, Gavi and Dhurv exchanged glances. They were at a crossroads, forced to make a choice that would shape their uncertain future.
