1 Fall of the Spirit Flame Clan

Deep inside a large secluded forest, the only sounds that could be heard were the footsteps of a group of men chasing after a young 12-year-old child who kept jumping from tree to tree at immense speeds that shocked the men.

As the child got deeper and deeper into the forest, the men got more and more unwilling to continue as this forest wasn't any normal forest but the Forest of the Evil God.

At the core of the forest was the evilest, powerful, and violent beings in the entire world called the Demonic Beasts. They were normal Beasts that had over 10,000 Years been infected and transformed into these corrupted beings.

This world was called the Heaven Wasteland Domain and within its domain was one world, a sun, and a moon. But what made this world a bit special was it had access to an energy that the world itself had the power of creating called Qi. This Qi permeated in the air and was a representation of the life force of the world and so throughout the uncountable year's humans have existed in this world, the system to take this Qi and make it usable had been created, and this process was called cultivation.

The young child who had been chased was named Shen Tian and he was the son of the Spirit Flame Clan Patriarch.

The Spirit Flame Clan was one of the 13 Ancient Clans and possessed bodies that were highly attuned to Qi allowing them to have an edge over normal cultivators. One of the most important inheritances of the clan was the Spirit Inheritance Stone that allowed one person from each generation to inherit the memories from the stone so only 2 people would have the inheritance, the Patriarch and the Patriarch's Successor, and for this generation, Shen Tian was the Patriarch's Successor.

The memories that were stored in the stone were considered 2 of the 6 God Arts of the Heaven Wasteland Domain: the Spirit God Scripture and the Myriad Flame God Art.

The Spirit God Scripture was never really used as no one had the talent to complete the prerequisite to cultivating this art, but the Myriad Flame God Art was a different story.

To cultivate, one must first open at least 8 Qi Meridians and at that stage, they are considered Martial Practitioners as they push their bodies to the limit to open up their meridians creating a bridge between the world and their body. After at least 8 Qi Meridians are opened, they can begin the process of forging ones Qi Core where their refined Qi would be stored and after the Qi Core is forged they would be called Apprentice Warriors.

But a key part of an Apprentice Warrior and his Qi Core is that during the creation of the Qi Core, an affinity with a Spirit would be created and that spirit would inhabit itself in the core giving that Apprentice Warrior's Qi a form.

In the Spirit Flame Clan, the Patriarch's Bloodline was special because they always had a Fire Elemental Spirit and another Elemental Spirit within their Qi Core. This allowed them to use the Myriad Flame God Art to combine these 2 Elemental Spirits to create immensely powerful Martial Arts and Spell Arts.

Shen Tian despite only being 12-years-old, was able to forge his Qi Core successfully and he merged with the Fire Elemental and the Lightning Elemental Spirit. This led to him using the Myriad Flame God Art to form what he called Thunder Flams and he was using one of the arts he created, the Lightning Flame Flash Step, to jump from tree to tree to escape.

He came to the forest often to hone himself so he was familiar with the outskirts of the forest allowing him to gain a large lead between his pursuers and himself. Despite all of them being much stronger than Shen Tian himself.

For why Shen Tian was being pursued, it was because his clan was just exterminated. Everyone he knew, including his own family, were killed by the various sects as well as the other 12 Ancient Clans coming together. The reason they were exterminated was that the Spirit Flame Clan was accused of creating a portal to summon the Darkness, a strange pocket realm within the Domain that opened every millennium that brought terrifying monsters from its shadow.

But this was false, Shen Tian had no idea why his clan was framed or who framed them but he knew his anger wouldn't be quenched until he exterminated all those who were involved. He knew that the people involved were most likely the most powerful people in the Heaven Wasteland Domain, but he would never be able to sleep calm.

He turned around as he went deeper into the Forest of the Evil God and noticed that the men chasing him had given up. But he didn't stop as he went deeper and deeper, the eerie sounds of weeping and roaring scared Shen Tian but he knew if he stopped now the Demonic Beasts who could easily smell the scent of a human would track him with ease.

As he went to the core of the Forest of the Evil God, the suppressive evil force from the corpse of the Evil God who was the source of the Evil Energy that corrupted the beasts almost crushed him but he was lucky that both his Qi and his speed allowed him to stay alive without dying.

No one knew where this Evil God came from or how he became so powerful, but his corpse itself was so powerful that even the strongest in the domain wouldn't want to get near the corpse of the Evil God which was a terrifying indicator of its power.

Shen Tian looked around for a place to recover himself without being exposed, and his eyes locked onto a strange cave that had been carved into a strange rocky hill. This rocky hill was the highest point in the area near him so it stood out like a sore thumb, but the strange thing was the purple aura that Shen Tian could see all around him was nonexistent near this rocky hill so he could guess that this area for some reason wasn't affected by the Evil Energy.

Entering the cave, he could feel the Evil Energy that had been close to killing him slowly dissipate, allowing him to fall to the floor and breathe. Any normal 12-year-old in that situation would have been killed, but this is the reason he was the Patriarch's Son for one of the biggest clans in the Domain. He kept his mind moving forward, he knew his clan was already dead so what is the use of going back now only to get killed. Despite his eyes being bloodshot red and his wanting to see his parents one more time, he held himself back so he could eventually take revenge.

He was lucky that he was seclusive and almost no one outside of his clan has seen his face or else he would have been in real trouble.

Shen Tian had already planned to join one of the large sects who had not joined in the extermination, and he would grow his power before annihilating the ones responsible for his clan's murder.

Shen Tian looked up and saw that the cave went in quite deep so he struck the entrance of the cave allowing rocks to cover the entrance before summoning a fire on his finger and going deeper into the cave. He needed to make sure his scent wasn't too strong so he controlled his sweat and he didn't want to stay near the outside of the cave in fear that some of the stronger demonic beasts would find him so he decided to go deeper was most likely better, not only would he know what was on the other side but he would be safer.

As he went deeper he noticed that the cave was declining and it was going underground causing him to wonder how deep this went because if it went underground who knew how large the cave would be. It also allowed him to breathe with relief because he wouldn't run into the other side of the rocky hill and meet a Demonic Beast.

His footsteps halted when he squinted his eyes and when he made the flame on his hand bigger his eyes went wide in shock as he saw a gigantic stone door. The door was huge, taller than the hill itself and there were markings on the door that Shen Tian had no idea what they were saying.

Shen Tian felt reservation at first, but his eyes filled with anger and he knew this might be something that not only would allow him to restore his clan pride by getting revenge. But to restart his clan once more as he would possess the overwhelming power to rule the entire domain.

When he pressed his hand against the door, he fell to the ground. Shen Tian had died.
