After finally getting some well deserved sleep Yuze woke up the next morning.

"Arlos transfer the hand to hand combat technique." He sat up and commanded.

Suddenly a large influx of knowledge appeared in his mind slowly etching onto his brain. There were different fighting styles in the technique, there were fist styles, claw styles and even palm styles.

"The technique is known as The traceless hand of God. A unique fighting style that takes into consideration every possible position during a fight. Most of the time in a fight if using just a fist technique one is limited to just using fists to attack but this technique gives more versatility as well as it increases the overall output of soul power inturn giving the maximum offence.

This technique is agility based as the faster I execute the technique the more output it'll give and also it's not named traceless just for nothing.

It follows the same principle as my ever-changing shadow technique making mirages that confuse the opponent and force them to make a mistake.

The core not only developed the quality of my soul power it also drastically increased my endurance and spiritual power.

When I saw the Angel god spirit and shadow monarch soul interfere to make a soul core I had to make a quest to get more benefits. Without thinking much I created the quest to form a soul core. And put an external soul bone as reward.

' Arlos, help me absorb the soul bone. '

Energy started gathering over my head and slowly a headband shaped soul bone appeared.

It was made of white bones and rediated an dark aura of death.

Yuze started absorbing the soul bone slowly. It started merging slowly with his head and after a few minutes it was completely absorbed.

"The soul bone is known as ' The crown of death' and is from an ancient species of soul beasts known as 'Death Titans' that are now extinct.

It provides only one skill considering its age but the ability is insanely good.

The skill is known as 'Residence of the dead' it essentially traps the souls of people I kill and when needed I can absorb them to recover my soul power.

It's a very versatile ability but still I feel this soul bone has even more potential than it is currently showing. If the initial ability is so strong then the ability it'll get when it reaches 100000 years old will be even more broken. " said Yuze.

Then he jumped up from his bed and started completing his daily quest.

~ scene change ~

Qian Douliu and Bibi Dong appeared in a room present in the elder hall.

They both sat opposite to each other on the sofas present in the centre of the room. Then Qian Douliu spoke

" You noticed it too right "

"Yeah I did, they are insanely compatible with each other. They can perform a perfect Martial soul fusion if they just try. " Bibi Dong said.

" You're right and they'll boost each other's training speed exponentially if they cultivate together. " Qian Douliu said.

" So you're suggesting we make them cultivate together, right? " said Bibi Dong

" Yeah and maybe.. " as Qian Douliu was speaking Bibi Dong interrupted him.

" Maybe what? Let them come closer or just force an engagement? Qian Douliu you've always been like this only thinking about yourself and your own selfish interests."

" It's ironic coming from you don't you think Bibi Dong. You use people like tools for your own gain. Do you think I don't know what you've been upto just because I don't confront you about it." Qian Douliu said in an angry voice and his aura started to come out from his body.

"I use people but I'll never fall so far as to use my own granddaughter as a tool for my and my family's glory like you are doing now. Do you think of her as just some sacrificial pawn?

I despise you people from the angel clan

You're no different from that beast I should've killed you too that night" Bibi Dong said and also released her aura, making the whole room shake.

Qian Douliu stopped releasing his aura and spoke in a calm voice.

"You didn't kill me because you couldn't and don't act so mighty and powerful now. You might be a future god and I'm just an apostille destined to die but still I'm stronger than you now.

So try to understand, what I'm doing is what is best for her. Do you really think anyone is more capable of being her fiance other than Yuze ? And why are you so concerned suddenly about Renxue? Didn't you say you feel nothing for her other than pity?"

" Yeah I don't. I'm not concerned for her but for my own disciple. " Bibi Dong calmed down a little.

" You say that but I know you care about her. After all, you're her mother. Is it too tough just to show your feelings and not keep it bottled up ? How many years has it been since you talked to her ?

You think it's for the best but you're making her feel worse day by day. You could never give her the motherly love that a child craves for.

And you say you don't care about her but if you really didn't you could've killed her in your womb." Qian Douliu said.

Bibi Dong kept silent for a few moments then started walking out of the room but stopped at the door and said.

" I'll talk to her when the time is right. I'll give my blessings to them if and only if they truly love each other. And as a mother and a teacher I'll make sure you don't do anything to force them onto each other. If I find you pulling strings in the background I'll bring the whole of the angel clan to the ground, mark my words Qian Douliu"

Then she disappeared into nothingness leaving only Qian Douliu in the room.

" Sigh… "
