Thomas Wilson

The hotel building suddenly vibrated on the floor I was on, and a series of noises followed it. I walked out of the room and a strong, acrid smell hit my nose like a truck. There was smoke everywhere and debris... The building had crashed at a certain part of the hallway. I anxiously took my phone and called Ana's number.

[The number you've dialled is unavailable. Please leave a voicemail message. *Beep* ]

"Ana, Are you okay? Please call me when you can." I spoke after the beep.

I saved the message as I ended the call.

The elevator was broken... I could tell from how the steel doors were bent... The shattered glass pieces from the indicator on top of it.

"Someone is trapped under debris by the stairs."

I turned my head and saw a man speaking to someone else.

My phone suddenly rang and I picked it up without even seeing who it was.

"Hello?" I answered hoping that I would hear Ana.

"She's in danger." The voice spoke.

"Detective Nkwana is trapped under rubble." they added.

My phone fell out of my hands and I ran towards the stairs. Everything crashed on the last flour. We were on the third floor and the stairs were all broken and lying on the first floor at the bottom.

"Ana!" I shouted.

There was no response and I couldn't even see her. My mind was blank and I was baffled. My heart was pounding anxiously before I heard screaming. I looked up and realised that I had jumped into an open space at the bottom. I subconsciously jumped without even realising it. My ankles felt a bit painful but it was nothing compared to how anxious and scared I felt.

"Ana!" I shouted again.

I looked through the rubble and debris doing my best not to cause the rubble to slide down.

"ANA!" I shouted as my heart started pounding at a tremendous speed.

My eyes searched everywhere until I saw a hand... It wasn't moving... It was just lying there. I bent down to see if it was connected to a body... My heart stopped as I stared at her unconscious body lying there. This is my fault. Ana, please don't die.

I started moving the rubble and debris trying to make sure I didn't hurt her anymore. I was so careful one would have thought that I was stacking cards.

"Stay alive Ana." I let out with tears in my face.

"IS ANYONE THERE?" I heard from the other side.

"Yes! Help! My girlfriend is stuck under a big piece of debris! " I shouted.

"Hang in there! " they shouted back.

Two days later…

I could hear a beeping sound and it was very annoying. I groaned as I tried to move my body...My body... It hurt and the damn beeping sound was very aggravating.

"Ana?" Thomas let out.

He sounds so relieved and happy. I opened my eyes and the bright light illuminating in the room made me close them again

"Ana? Are you okay?" He asked me.

"If you call me Ana again I'm going to fucking kick you in the damn nuts." I hissed at him as I felt a painful throbbing in my head.

The strong smell of antiseptic hit my nose and I groaned. It smelled like fucking shit. I heard Thomas chuckling and it ticked me off. How dare he laugh at me?

I picked my pillow up and threw it as hard as I could. It hit him in the face and he fell backwards with his chair.

"Oh my God! Love, are you okay?" I heard a voice ask.

It was Thato.

"I'm fine babe, my body just hurts a bit." I replied smiling lightly.

"I'm so sorry I couldn't be here for you, my love." he tells me as he kisses my forehead.

"It's okay, babe."I responded.

"Gosh, Do you remember…"

"Ahem!" a voice lets out interrupting Thato.

We turn to see a frowning confused Thomas. He was jealous. I smirked when Thato stared at me amused.

"You must be Detective Wilson, I'm so sorry for my rudeness but I couldn't believe that my sweet love was hurt." Thato told him, extending his hand to shake Thomas' hand.

"It's okay. " Thomas said, shaking Thato's hand.

There was suddenly a weird tension as they shared hands for two minutes.

He was so fucking jealous of someone who isn't his and would never be his. It made him look a bit pathetic.

I found myself laughing and groaning in pain. They both stopped and moved towards me.

"Love? Are you okay?" Thato asked as he held me gently.

I looked at Thomas and his lips twitched in annoyance. Seeing him like this brings me pleasure. I smirked before I pouted looking at Thato. He looked at me amused before he chuckled.

"My body hurts so much." I whined pouting.

"Aww, my sweet love, should I kiss your boo boo's?" Thato asked me as he kissed my hand.

I quickly glanced at Thomas. His lips were twitching violently as he smiled. How I wanted to laugh at his historical face. He looked so idiotic and I loved it.

Thato pursed his lips as he too glanced at Thomas.

"He looks like a psycho." Thato tells me with his eyes.

"It's fucking funny." I reply back with my eyes.

"Look at him, he looks like he'll burst any moment from now." Thato responds back with his eyes.

"I'll go call the doctor." Thomas let out after smiling at us.

"Okay." I spoke as he walked out.

The moment he was out, Thato walked to the door to make sure he left and when he saw that he left we both burst into laughter with me groaning in pain.

"He looked so crazy, it's even wild that a person's lips can twitch like that." Thato let out laughing.

"Tell me about it." I responded laughing and groaning in pain.

"But serious talk, are you okay?" he asks genuinely concerned.

"I am, and I have to tell you something. " I told him.

"I know, Saige, Thalia's Doppelganger approached you, and she told you to come to her when you meet Nkosi, right?" he asked.

"So you heard over the call?" I ask him.

"Yes, I thought Thalia was crazy but it seems like I was wrong." he answered, sighing.

"Hey! Alia is a good type of crazy." I state.

"Sure, her buying a burner phone and going to a stranded building and hiring people to burn Professor Smith's car while she's in class, is a good crazy." he teased smiling.

"I still can't believe she pulled all that in a week." I expressed snickering.

Thalia was wasted singing along to Super Bass by Nicki Minaj when she started laughing.

"It was so nice seeing Professor Smith cry as his car burned." she let out, giggling.

"I'm just happy it wasn't you." I told her, patting her head.

Thalia suddenly stopped giggling and she drank her tequila shot. I stared at her confused and then it clicked...

"Thalia!" I shrieked in shock.

"Nothing will ever lead back to me." she enunciated, indicating for me to keep it a secret.

Thato and I stared at each other horrified and we noted that we should not piss her off to the extent Professor Smith did. Dammit, all you had to do was not embarrass her in class that day Professor Smith.

"She is a wild one." I sighed as I smiled.

The doctor came and he did a quick body checkup on me to look for any internal and external injuries.

"Mrs Nkwana, it seems that you are not badly hurt but you must rest for a week at least." the doctor stated.

"I give your husband your medicine and explain it to him." the doctor adds, looking at Thomas.

He smirks and I choke on my saliva.

"He is…"

"Thank you, doctor, can you explain the medicine to me outside." Thomas spoke, smirking as he gestured for the doctor to lead the way.

This fucking fucker. I want to kick him so hard in the ball until his damn legs shake and fall into one another.

"That's wild." Thato let out, pursing his lips.

"If you even dare laugh Thato I will kick you really hard." I warned him, clenching my teeth.

"I'm sorry. " he told me.

"But your husband seems funny." he teased after a few seconds.

I threw him with my only pillow and he cracked into laughter as he stared at me.

"Stop laughing!" I exclaimed angrily.

"Ssss...so... so...sorry." he laughed.

I frowned as I stared at him. He was on the floor laughing. Tears were in his eyes from how he was laughing.

"You giving me a headache, leave me alone now." I let out pouting.

"Awww, my GIRLFRIEND is upset. I'm sorry." he teased me as he emphasized the word girlfriend.

I glared at him and he raised hid hands up surrender before he picked up my pillows...
