At the development of women's history in Britain in terms of the political and social movements of the mid-to-late twentieth century .It was at that point that writers like Dale spender began to ask "why were the women of the present cut off from the women of the past and was this achived ?"The history of women it came to be argued ,had been obsured,hidden and lost ,because no one taken an interest ,no one is recorded it ,it was not written ;women were not, it had been believed,the legitimate subject of history.
