1 Prologue

Thirteen. An age that brings change in every person's life. For Diana Flynn it brought love, friendship and responsibility. But so did it take many things away. Broken friendships, crushes lost, freedom of being a child and out of all the things the innocence of her mind. The year her whole life turned an absolute three sixty.

    Until mid-year she was the same innocent child. No access to technology and books were her life. Watching cartoons and playing around with family was the only source of entertainment she had. That was until technology swept her off her feet. She was gifted with something that she thought would be her happiness. If only she knew then how wrong she was. A cell phone. A small piece of metal that changed her life.

   She still remembered that day. At 17.17 on the 17th of March a message that changed her life. A moment that shattered her dreams of four years with just six words. A secret she had guarded within herself revealed to someone who shouldn't have ever known about it. And that too at the hands of those she thought were her best friends. She was too young to know that trust was something she couldn't give everyone.

    That was the day Diana cried herself to sleep for the first time in her life with no one to comfort her. Step by step she learnt to build her own walls but within a couple months it was brought down with a crash when the unexpected happened. When she opened her eyes on the birthday of her thirteenth year she never expected her life to spin a three sixty within the span of a day.
