2 Chapter 2 - Reborn and New Life.

Florida, USA, February 7, 1996.

At that moment, a woman with a loving smile finds herself in a hospital with a baby in her arms, more precisely that woman is called Gloria Delgado.

'I never thought that having a child would be so painful, now I realize that it's not an exaggeration of mothers, but after seeing my baby I forget all the pain I have to go through.'

'But where is Javier at this moment, I don't believe he will be late, at such an important moment like this, if he is late, he will receive a punishment when he gets home.'

'As for the name of the baby, I have been discussing it with my family, we decided that the name will be in honor of one of our ancestors'

"From today his name will be Thomas Javier Ramirez Delgado"

When I regain consciousness and try to open my eyes, all I see in this new world are blurred images. But at that moment I hear a voice with a Colombian accent naming me, it must probably be my mother.

At that moment, I hear voices in my head, probably my AI/Nano.

Before I could check the information, I fell asleep, due to the overload of information that reached my not fully developed brain.

<3 day skip>

Florida, USA, February 10, 1996.

In an apartment in Florida, we meet a small family that has just arrived from the hospital, in this family we find a man who is kneeling, while a woman puts a baby in the cradle.

"That's right you will be kneeling for an hour on top of these beans as punishment for your behavior"

Gloria Delgado, The new mother ordered the man who is currently kneeling, due to him being late for his wife's delivery, that man is named Javier Delgado, the father of the child.

<1 year skip>

During the first few weeks, nothing unusual happened to me, I just noticed that my body can't handle the weight of my mind, so sometimes I start crying for no reason or I get really tired and start to sleep.

Also, after I managed to adapt my eyes, I got a big surprise, I realized that my mother is Gloria Delgado, which means that I will be directly participating in the "modern family" in the future.

Just like in the series, Glória is very loving and attentive to the people in her family. Another surprising thing is that my father, whose name is Javier Hectoro Delgado, is rarely at home as I could see in the first few weeks, it must be because he is a baseball player, known in Triple-A, it must be why there was a divorce between them in the future.

An important fact that broke my heart and scared me was that despite having just had a child, my mother didn't even have a week off, she continued working as a taxi driver and hairdresser, the hairdresser she works for is close to our apartment which is in the favela.

When she went to work, she left me with her friend or Javier to take care of me. There were times she took me with her.

When my mom comes home I always try to cheer her up with cute baby stuff.

When I spoke for the first time, my first word was "mommy", she was very emotional and it was filmed with a camera for her to send to her family.

'When I saw my little boy calling me mommy, a feeling of happiness came over me!'

'He took away all my fatigue from work, with that little sentence.'

'Mothers always said that a baby is a lot of work, but mine was always calm, he only cried when he was hungry or when he did something in his diaper'

'My baby never gave me any problems, he just brought me joy and made me drunk with cuteness, like that one time he tried to get up but he always fell down, he had that grumpy face, he did his best to get up, I still remember he was so cute. '

<1 year skip>

After 2 years of living this new life, I can finally walk freely, but I can't speak fluently, but I can speak with some errors which is totally appropriate for my age, due to my body not being fully developed.

I noticed something unusual with my mother, during this year I noticed that my mother's belly has been growing more and more, something popped into my mind to see this happening, and after listening to my parents' conversation in their room, I can conclude that she is really pregnant. So, if I follow the chronology of the series, she is pregnant with Manny.

Seeing my mother's condition, I try as much as possible to avoid giving my family work at home. Observing the amount of effort that my mother has been making for the family, I promise that one day I will repay everything she has done for me in these difficult years.

Leaving that aside, I finally met the family on my mother's side, I can say that a very happy, quarrelsome and noisy family.
