6 Luke, First Date and Golf

A/N: Previously, we talked about the system's basic functions and MC's 5th birthday, from this chapter some things behind the scenes in "Modern Family" and Luke's birth, and the first date with Gigi.

MC POV

So, the system has come on time and I was very happy with the functions it had an there was another function in there as well, known as plug-in function and you guessed it right, it is as it says, I can add plug-ins for the different function I want and it will not cost a lot of points(A/N: if you like some functions in the system, comment in the paragraph comment).

So, that's it about the system, and there was another family member added to our family, my little brother, who I thought would not be born because of my butterfly effect but it was not that severe and we are a family of six now and I hope mom and dad would stop because I can't handle another butterfly effect.

The first one was "Gigi Hadid" in my class and me being friends with her and I hope to be something more in the future from my side and I fully intend to make into a reality in this life, like how many times you get the chance of being childhood sweethearts with your dream girl, so I was not gonna give up this chance at all.

Like this, 5 years of my elementary school were gone and there was a lot of improvement in my stats, they were now in the '50s for my body and the 60's for my basketball skills besides steals and assists, which I can not practice without a good team. This does not mean that my school team was not good, but what can a bunch of kids do in team sports? Now I was made captain of the basketball team on account of basketball skills and leadership skills, which I got from a task given by the system and it is going to help me in middle school as well as there would be seniors in the team and I have to make my place in the team as a freshman and a starter at that.

So this was going to be a difficult task, but I was ready to kick some seniors' asses to make myself known from the get-go and it was not going to be a problem on account of me looking like a high school freshman, but that is for the upcoming days.

Now let's talk about my relationship/friendship with "Gigi", it was going better than nice and I mean that in a positive manner and it was also increased because of me getting skills from the system which increased my charm, the system gave it to me increase my popularity in the school as you have to be popular in the school or your city to be recognized by the audience and later big league and audience support is necessary for a good draft pick and contract from this level to the highest level of basketball.

But it worked wonder for the opposite sex as well, as I got a lot popular with the girls and some of the girls were even senior and this reflected in Gigi's behavior as well as she was getting somewhat jealous of the attention I was getting from other girls and one day she asked me herself if I wanted to be more than best friends and I know it was not her language as she was being shy talking to me at that time from the previous extroverted behavior of hers.

First, I was surprised as it was not in my mind at that time to be Gigi's boyfriend and I was going to ask her first, not the other way around, but what happen was fortunate for me as I got my best friend, who was now girlfriend. It was faster than I expected, but it was good either way.

After that, we went on our first date, on which my mother drove me to a restaurant and Gigi's mother was there as well and she was not as happy as my mother, because according to her I was ruining Gigi's future, which she has planned for her, but I know from the previous life and in this life as well, that Gigi was not going to follow her mother's plan but going to make her own path and that way my first date happened in both lives.

It was not as awkward as it sounds on your first date as me and her know each other so well, so we talked normally as we would, and we ate something and after that, we went home with our respective parents, but before going Gigi gave me a kiss on my cheek and for the first time in eleven years of this life I was blushing and my mom teased me the whole way home about that.

So that is how my first date went with Gigi and we had a few more, but we did nothing more than a kiss on the cheeks as we were still kids and it was awkward for me to have an adult mind in a child's body, but we will cross that bridge when it came to us.

Many things happened on the family end as well, as Haley was also entering middle school albeit barely passing her class and question arose at a family dinner one time, how can I get scholarships from a prestigious school every grade and Haley was barely passing in a public school, but it was not answered on account of my mom and nana getting into another fight over my mom's results in her childhood and we went home early.

But there was a question in my mom's back of mind and she took me and Haley to a psychiatrist for this there the doctor did some tests and it was found that she has normal intelligence for an 11-12-year-old, but she was not applying herself and from my tests doctor concluded that I was a genius and asked my parents to have me pursue a career in sciences instead of basketball and my parents were considering it for a time, but it was crushed by my grandpa when I told him that I want to be a professional player and not some nerdy scientist and I had my whole life after my basketball career or in case of an unfortunate accident after which I can not play basketball, then I can do something about mankind or something and it was then decided that I would have some choice for my future and after that, I never went with my mom to another doctor.

But that is not all, my uncle also find the life partner he was looking for which was Cameron Tucker like the original show and they also moved in together my grandpa had to approve him earlier on my account, as he put it to me that he can never say "no" to me and it was right because he never said it to me and we did a lot of stuff together, as my dad was busy with his business sometimes and Grandpa and nana's marriage was almost over, so he would take me to go fishing, fly his favorite radio control planes and golfing as well.

Golfing was very easy and I find it very relaxing. So this is why the G.O.A.T himself played a lot of golf in his career and after it was over he still plays now. So I made it a habit to play with my grandpa every Sunday or sometime on weekends to play a round or two of golf and here in this game as well I was on top because of the missions given by "Eve" and grandpa one time asked me to change my future career to golf so that he can begin his second journey managing my golf career, but I shut this idea from progressing before it even started by telling my grandpa that I would not come again with him and this shut him up and he never said anything about this again.

So, this is what happened mostly in the past five years, the main things worth mentioning and now I start officially on the journey of dominating basketball one step at a time.
