"What is it ?"
" Sir, Madam is going into labour"
"Take Katie to St Joseph hospital immediately I'll be there in 15 min"

Robert was scared and angry at the same time, his wife needed him and today of all days he had to come to office as there were some important papers that needed his attention or he would have never left Katie. From past 3 months he was working from home and he only left home if it was really urgent.. He took his coat and ran out of his office, he didn't care what his employees think of him, he needed to be with his wife. He asked his secretary while running to cancel all the meetings for this whole week and was dialing the number of his old friend Sam...

Samuel was scaning some CT films of the road trauma patient whom he operated the same morning as to check his progress when his phone rang, after seeing the who was it he can't help but smile
"Miss me honey"
"St Joseph hospital in 15 min Kath is going into labour"
" Honey I'm a neurosurgeon not gynaecologist why you need me there"
Even though Samuel said that, he had already put down the scans and started shutting down his computer because he knew his friend needed him because if it is about Kath and Micheal he knows Robert loses all his senses due to his fear and he understands this because he is the same for his wife and son too.
Robert ran to his car in the underground parking lot and said while sitting in his rover.
"10 mins if not ready to see the news of shutting down your hospital"
And before Samuel could say anything he already hung up the phone as if he already knew that Samuel will be there..
" woah woah calm down there.... Hello... Rob hello... Shit.."
Sam removed his white coat and took his wind breaker ...
"Suzy assign my surgeries to Jerry... Tell him I'll compensate him and if there is no emergency don't call me" ..
Suzy was his secretary who was working with him for 10 years, she was like a older sister to him. She was his most trusted colleague and old friend who he met while starting his small hospital and till now she was with him.

Samuel turned around and put his palms on her desk and said with a serious expression : "But darling if I won't go now you'll see the news of my death in tomorrow's headlines because Rob will kill me and I'm more scared of him than anyone else and beside who dares to make an issue in my territory.. "
Suzy knows Sam is over exaggerating and Mr Quinn will do no such thing as she had seen how strong the bond is between her boss and Mr Quinn but if Mr Quinn called then it must be something big so she asked with worry
"Mr Robert? Is everything alright? "
Sam playfully winks towards her and said with the wide Grin "soon I'll be the god father with my second son .. So take care..and don't disturb me ..I'm in hurry so I'll leave first."
Suzy sighs in relief before nodding her head and can't help but be happy for them ,with the sweet smile on her face she said "Congrats.. ill wait for the good news then.. no problem ill deal with it.. Send my wishes to Mr and Mrs quinn.. Be safe.."
Samuel waves at her and said while leaving : "you too don't exhaust yourself or your husband will come and fight with me saying that I'm the kind of boss who makes his employees work like a slave.. Take care darling.."
Suzy shakes her head and chuckles at his word " if that's the case then ill give him the weapon.... Take care.."
Sam chuckles and bid her goodbye. He starts his engine and dialed his wife's number...
"Hello wifey I have a great news for u ..."
" I'm already on the way to hospital Mr hubby ..I already know.. "
While driving out of the parking lot he said with a smile
" ohho Mrs Oscar.. you have your spies everywhere don't you.. I thought ill be the one telling you good news of your becoming God Mother.."
A beautiful smile can be seen on Emily's face while listening to his words
"ofcourse I have Mr Oscar because if I have waited for you to tell me I would have definitely missed my opportunity to be the 1st person holding my god child so tell me how can I miss that haa .."
Sam chuckles at her words and said as if challenging her
"Don't worry Mrs Oscar still that opportunity won't be yours as your husband never loses , it's better to give up now because ill definitely be the first.. be ready .."
A boy who just looks just like the mini version of Samuel who was sitting in the back of Emilys car who was listening to his parents conversation finally holds his head with his little hands and said while getting irritated
"you two keep fighting as it will only be me who'll hold the little baby first . "
Then he crosses his hands and then said with a little pout
"Michael sure is lucky he'll get a little baby soon with whom he can play all the time.."
Samuel can't help but sigh at his son's words, he knew his son was quite lonely but he can't help it, as while delivering his son, Emily's condition got serious and doctor said they can't afford to have a 2nd child or it will endanger his wife's life. About this only he and Robert knew, he knows his wife also want 2nd child but he definitely can't take any risk especially when it concerns Emily so he comforts his son and said while lightening the mood
"haha you little rascal, with the baby you can play too .. Why Getting jealous.."
Daniel still pouting said :
" ofc I am dad he'll live with baby all the time when ill be with you and mom.. Wait Or I can tell aunt Katie to adopt me saying you two abandoned me.."
Emily was a little depressed after listening her sons word, she too wanted to give Sam another child and Danie a little brother or sister but she don't know why Sam is firm with only having Danie, in the end she also stopped but still somewhere in her heart there was a regret. Showing everything is normal she calms her emotions and smiles but still Sam noticed some change in her on the other side of the phone but said nothing then heard her saying while showing a little hurt expression :
"agh my little baby you can live without mommy... Agh.. I'm so sad my son don't love me anymore..wuhuhu "
When Daniel saw his mommy sad he can't help but feel bad for making her sad so said while coaxing his mother:
"ofc I love my mommy the most.. don't worry I'll tell auntie to take you in too with me.. Dad can live with himself... We'll abandon him.."
Emily bursts into laughter..." Haha that's my son.. "
While listening to their words Sam was speechless and didn't knew whether to laugh and cry..but still he was happy that Emily was not sad anymore .
