As me and Dabby sat in the corner together, holding our breath, our whole bodies shook from fear. I had been trying to keep Dabby quiet and calm throughout this whole ordeal.

Suddenly, there was a loud thump on the door. It wasn't much, but with the stress of the situation, It felt like the strongest, most aggressive knock.

"Please be silent. " I whisper as the thump repeats again.

As the loud knocks continued, I start to hear the door creaking from the pressure of whatever was outside as it tried to push its way in. Dabby was now trying to not make any sound at all, and even stopped breathing to keep quiet.

The creaking was getting more and more apparent, as whatever was outside was determined to find us. Then silence, silence that seemed like it lasted for hours, until the door suddenly came crashing down, all of the blocking furniture being pushed out of the way. Two creatures came running into the classroom, setting eyes on Mr. Crow, they tear him apart limb from limb as he struggles helplessly. Nobody else in the room has any idea what to do, not noticing as more creatures make their way into the room.
