Family Dinner

Mo's Mom had been trying her numbers but coincidentally Mo had been missing her calls.

Mo had not been able to return the calls because she had been super busy. Finally on Friday night Mo saw her Mom's text messages and WhatsApp messages, just then her Mom's call came in.

Mo's Mom Mrs Coker a slim beautiful fair skinned woman, average height.

Mrs Coker cajoled and coaxed Mo to come home on Sunday Mo bluntly refused because she knew what the subject of conversation was all about.

Mrs Coker knows that once she can get a yes from Mo she will definitely come because she likes to keep to her words.

Mo is from a family of five, Her Dad, Mom and two siblings, an elder Sister and a younger brother.

Mo's father Mr Durojola Coker hails from the prestigious family that owns Coker furniture international which its head office is located at a place called Isale Eko, his home town.

Durojola is a very friendly warm man, he joined his father's business at a very young age of fourteen being the only male child

Whenever he was on break at school he joins his father as an apprentice in the capentry work shop. After his university education he was able to expand the family business to what it is today.

Mo's Mother Ajoke Coker is a very beautiful woman, she loves enjoying life, she is always at the happening Owambe.

Ajoke Sometimes wonder when she looks at her gentle daughter Mo; who is so different from everyone else.

Ajoke worked at the Ministry of Justice for thirty-five years as she recently retired as a Permanent Secretary. She finds that she has a lot of time, so she is always looking for ways to bring her children together so that they could have family time together.

She is always glad whenever Tomi offers to bring Adrian whenever she has to be busy for whatever reason.

Mo's Elder Sister Tomilola Coker Johnson is a lively bubbly woman, she is an entrepreneur, your conventional jack of all trade... Tomilola sells everything and anything when she was in school.

Mo's family home is situate at Ajah, after Lekki, another extreme end of Lagos. Ajah is like an hour drive from mainland without traffic and some two hours thirty minutes drive to three hours drive with heavy Lagos traffic.

As Mo drove to her Country home she was glad it's Sunday the road was super free which made driving for Mo sweet and fun at the same time. She drive at a very good speed which wouldn't have been possible if there was traffic.

"Lagos traffic can be disheartening most times" Mo muttered under her breath to herself.

The only traffic she encountered was that at Lekki Concession company toll gate.

Mo got to the house in record time in the noon. When she got to her country home, she parked her car in the compound. The gate keeper John welcomed her as she stepped out of the car, he even offered to carry her bag for her but Mo politely declined, murmured a thank you while smiling at to John. She walked into the living room and saw her little niece Adrian shouting Aunt Mo in her tiny little voice.

When Mo noticed her at the corner of the living room playing with her toys all scattered around her, she was trying to stand up throwing the toys on her laps away as she ran over to where Mo was with her hands wide open so that Mo could pick her up.

Mo smiled wide when she saw her niece Adrian, as Adrian approached, Mo stretched her hands wide open to pick her up.

It was more like Adrain jumped into her hands and she started talking away... "Aunt Mo my daddy got me a new doll her hair is so long and colorful" said Adrain in her tiny little voice.

Mo asked little Adrian who is almost three years old where her Grandma was safely assuming her Adrian's Mom Tomilola came to drop her off since Friday to have her alone time with her husband without child responsibilities for the weekend.

Mo was in for a surprise as Adrian responded and said, "gwanma is in the ki'in with my Mommy".

"Your Mommy is here too, Mo asked surprised. This must really be a big family dinner oo" .

Mo took Adrian to where her toys were, she peeked her before she dropped her, patted her head and murmured Aunty loves you into her ears she glee cheerfully and continues playing with her toys as Mo walks towards the kitchen.
