Noah felt unstoppable strength coursing through his limbs.

As he stood upright unharmed, Heracles bellowed. "You ruined my 12th labor!? Even Death will be a mercy for you! I shall make you realize my loss through physical pain!"

The air trembled from Heracles' shout.

While Heracles was expecting his skill to work, Noah activated Battle Concentration and took advantage of his negligence, closing the distance between them.

It didn't take Heracles long to realize that his skill had failed.

Activating another skill, Heracles raised his gigantic club and smashed it on top of Noah.

The hall shook and dust rose into the air.

Noah dashed out of the natural smokescreen and ran on top of Heracles' club, moving towards his face.

The wind pressure created from Heracles' movements were causing damage to Noah. He was barely keeping up with Heracles with the combination of Sage Eyes, Great Hero and Battle concentration.

Noah directed his gaze at the empty space behind Heracles and shouted. "Attack him now!"

Heracles swiftly turned back, only to find nothing behind him.

"You! How dare you make a fool of…!!!"

Heracles' words were cut short as a sharp pain rose in his eyes.

As soon as Heracles turned towards Noah, Noah was ready with his daggers and stabbed his eyes.

Heracles, having lost his vision, swung his fists to squash Noah to death. Noah jumped away before the attack could connect.

The towering Heracles ended up hitting himself in the face and fell to the ground.

Landing on the ground, Noah ran toward Heracles' ear. He intended to partially stone-deaf Heracles before he stood up.

"AHHHHHH!!!"

A bright explosion took place which nearly shattered the entire hall. Noah was blown away to the corner.

"Cough! Cough! What was that?" Noah took a stance immediately after standing back.

Due to the explosion, the hall was filled with white dust which partially impaired Noah's vision. As Noah tried to locate Heracles, he realized something was amiss.

He could faintly hear the noise of air being torn apart. However, the amount of air being displaced was too small to be done by Heracles' movements.

"There is another enemy?"

Just as Noah spoke, a figure flashed before him and punched his head. His Sage Eyes activated moments before Noah ricocheted like a bullet and hit one of the statues surrounding the hall.

Heracles walked out of the dust with calm steps. He was no longer a 10-meter giant. His height was now comparable to Noah, almost 2 M tall. He had a slim yet robust figure which released terrifying pressure.

He grabbed Noah's neck and raised him.

"You can't take damage, but what if I choke you to death. Won't you die if that happens?" Heracles spat angrily while slowly increasing his grip strength.

However, Noah was calm. Too calm, in fact.

The corner of Noah's lips curved into a small smile. "You became stronger, huh. That's good, I wanted to try my other skills too."

Noah's nails suddenly grew and dug into Heracles' arm. His eyes turned red and fangs grew out of his teeth.

He kicked Noah from one end of the hall to another repeatedly. Earlier Noah could follow Heracles' movements with Battle Concentration. However, now he couldn't even see his shadow.

After attacking Noah multiple times to appease his anger, Heracles smashed Noah's head.

He crushed his neck with his foot and spoke. "Is that all? Don't you have anything else? At this rate, you'll die before me."

Although, Noah couldn't take damage from opponents. Dying from suffocation was indeed possible.

Yet, Noah remained calm.

"I did gain two skills after reaching level 5 earlier. What were they? Silent Casting and…"

Noah pointed his finger at Heracles.

Golden Chains slithered out of the ground and bound Heracles, bringing him to knees and forcing him to release Noah.

The chains melted into Heracles and his strength increased by another notch. He scoffed. "Should I say Thank…!!"

A sudden weakness caused Heracles to fall face-first into the ground. As his face fell next to Noah's feet, he heard.

[ 30 seconds has ended. Great Hero has entered cooldown of 30 days ]

A marker appeared over Heracles' head and his heart stopped beating.

At the same time, Noah's boost also ended.

An ear-shattering explosion ensued. The stone floor melted and the cracks appeared over the entire hall. The impact shattered the statues, almost causing the chandelier to fall.

Crimson fur covered Heracles. He stood and stared at Noah who had stolen the shield from a statue, and was barely alive thanks to it.

Unlike his previous self, Heracles calmly waited for Noah to prepare.

He spoke. "I had misjudged you, warrior. I apologize. Even without stealing my glory, you could've defeated the Gatekeeper of Hell. For my transgression, allow me to end this battle with a single attack."

His fist which he pulled back was covered in a crimson glow akin to fiery fire from depths of the earth.

Noah also realized that this Heracles was far stronger than his previous self. He couldn't defeat Heracles. However…

"I hate bosses who revive with bullshit explanations. Just die already."

[ Casting has been completed ]

Noah had finally completed his 3rd skill which required 3 minutes to cast. It was thanks to Silent Casting that Heracles was about to be caught unprepared.

As Noah opened his mouth, Hepius shouted. {Nay, refrain! Even if thou dost employ that skill, Heracles shall merely forfeit a single life! Waste not thy Divinity in vain!}

"Resurrection"

A massive magic circle covered the floor which leaked an ethereal glow.

The circle disappeared a few seconds later, doing nothing to Heracles.

Heracles sighed. "Resurrection is the highest ranked Priest skill, warrior. Even then it has only 1% chance of success. I can see that you have the ability to inverse skill effects but it won't work if your skill fail—"

A growl interrupted Heracles and he felt a sharp pain in his shoulder.

Cerberus was biting Heracles.

"Why are you taking such risks!? Cerberus can also kill y…!!"

Heracles snapped at Noah, only to find him scavenging the crossbow from a broken statue.

"Because I'll get more Exp if I kill Cerberus again." Noah grinned and shot the crossbow at the Chandelier.

The support snapped causing the Chandelier to fall.

The chandelier was so large that it struck everything inside the hall. Noah was able to stay safe by sticking close to the wall.

He watched as Heracles died along with Cerberus. Thanks to Cerberus, Heracles was on his last labor, allowing Noah to take the last hit and finish both.
