After mastering both void and darkness Max could now view his surroundings with an astounding clarity.

No longer did he feel overwhelmed with the strong energies of the realm of Chaotic Energies and no longer did his senses feel like they were in overdrive.

He could clearly segregate darkness and void from the environment as he was left with pure unadulterated chaos energy to study.

Chaos was an interesting element.

As per both the primal god of war and Angakok, Chaos was the one element nobody could master when attempting the tier promotion test.

To clear the tier7 trial, one needed to master only one element while have a passable understanding of the other and hence 9/10 challengers attempting the promotion test either mastered Darkness or Void and learnt a passable understanding of the other.

Rarely did anyone ever attempt to understand Chaos and there was next to none who managed to succeed in mastering it.
