294 Aftermath

Asiva's heart kept beating out of her chest when she saw the destroyed Southern fortress as at first glance there was nothing but death and carnage all around. 

" MAX? MAX? WHERE ARE YOU MAX? " Asiva shouted at the top of her lungs as she flew over the debris 

Mira who was also equally anxious managed to spot Max and swooped in straight towards the spot where he was lying with his back against a pillar. 

" Are you okay? " Mira asked in Draconic as she could feel the vitality in Max's body but the man was not opening his eyes. 

" MAX! Open your eyes you bastard, don't you dare die on me! " Asiva said with a teary eye. Unlike Mira she could not feel Max's vitality and hence assumed the worst when she saw him all bloody and with his eyes shut. 

" BOOO " Max said suddenly as he opened his eyes and startled both Mira and Asiva, as he began chuckling straight afterwards.
