10 Mysterious Girl

"Where is he?" A feminine voice resounded from underneath knight's amour.

The knight looked ragged as some parts of her armor were falling off.

And in front of her was an 8-foot tall lizard creature; it was green in color, had razor-sharp teeth, and had leaves sticking out from its back.

"Creeeee!" the lizard was clearly enraged as it screamed.

"Just a little more and it will fall!" Another voice resounded from the back as an archer kept firing arrows at it from the distance.

"Easy for you to say I'm the one taking the full brunt of its attack," the knight reprimanded while receiving another attack, pushing her back a couple meters.

"Don't worry, Sister, I will heal you up." Another feminine voice resounded, and a lady in long ropes suddenly appeared beside the knight, who had just been pushed back.

She brought out a little pot and pulled out a herb of some sort, tossing it to the knight on the floor.

The knight picked it up and tossed it into her mouth, causing elemental energy to converge around her body.

And soon she started to heal up, but before she could finish

"Charge!" the archer screamed at the top of his voice, alerting the knight while shooting arrows at the giant lizard.

Seeing the lizard charge at them, the knight stood up to take the charge head-on.

And just as it was about to collide with the knight

"Fallen blaze" from above the lizard, a voice resounded.

And not long after,

"Creeeeee!" the lizard screamed in agony as its body started burning; soon enough, it was consumed by fire.

"phew!!" The knight heaved a sigh of relief seeing the giant lizard fall, even though it had just been healed, it wasn't by much.

"To the rescue once again," Wilder stuck his head out from on top of the giant lizard, and said:

He had a bronze amour plate on his chest, amour gloves on his hands, and metal boots. They were separated so he could move better, unlike the knight. He didn't have a very high HP, so he needed more room for movement.

This was a wood-type monster, and he had a fire-type weapon (the sword of the fallen), so he was the optimal person to deliver sneak attacks to the weak points of this monster.

This was not the first time he had done this; the Jade Beast town was mostly surrounded by vegetation, so his weapon had been used severally.

weapon : sword of the fallen

Type: one-handed

Affinity: fire

Damage: 100

Effects-

Bleed: The sword of the fallen is craved out from the horn of the ancient boar king that guarded the souls of the fallen of the red boar species, and as such, it carries the remorse of the fallen.

Chances to cause a bleeding effect: 50%, damage; -5 HP per second for 30 seconds

fallen blaze: the red boar king's affinity is with fire, and when it falls, it brings along with it the fire of all its fallen comrades.

Chances to activate Fallen Blaze: 10%, Damage, -600 HP

/

The stats of this weapon were very good, and his teammates really admired the fallen blaze skill he had just used, but Wilder cared more about practicality, so he was more intrigued by the bleed feature.

"okay lets go" After checking their stats, Wilder decided that it was time to head into the village.

He had the right to do so because apparently he was the party leader, though he seemed to have noticed that quite a while ago from the way they treated him.

"Alright," Anya pulled down her interface and started walking in the direction of Jade Beast Town.

Wilder had been here for a week and he could now confirm for sure that this Jade Beast town was the same town as the one in the immortal world; the details were just too precise, plus this place held a lot of sentimental value to Wilder; when he first landed in the immortal world, this was the place he stayed and got use to the immortal world and its rules; they were nice old people in Jade Beast town that took care of his needs and people he grew close to, but of course, good things don't last;

Some immortals attacked the place when they were investigating his whereabouts, and they destroyed it in a matter of minutes. Luckily, Wilder was in the forest and not in the town, giving him the opportunity to run for his life.

He vowed to come back and restore the place, but he never got around to doing so. He only built one small house deep in the forest.

That was another one of the reasons he didn't quite understand what was going on. If this really was the immortal world, then why was Jade Beast Town still around? He had watched the place get razed to the ground.

Inside Jade Beast Town

Wilder and the others could be seen seated in a small, makeshift restaurant inside of town.

"These sources are just too few for warrior rank; we will need to leave soon." This knight was actually Anya.

The knight class suited her quite well; she was always running headfirst into battles; she was the definition of a hothead.

"I'm not complaining," the archer said while taking a bite of an apple. The archer was actually Liam.

And the apple in had... well, one could just say that the High Heaven Game was ultra-realistic and the food here tasted like food in the real world, though there were some limitations.

For example, if you had a whole banquet in high heaven, you would gain some strength, but that didn't mean that you would stop being hungry at all.

"There's just one last monster I want us to take down, then we can leave for a more high-level place," Wilder said to the Knight Anya.

She was right. The sources they could get for monsters in the Jade Beast Forest were very few, and even after a week, Wilder had not been able to level up.

Leveling up was much harder the higher one got in the game, and it wasn't like he could go around killing monsters by himself and get all the sources for himself. Last time was pure luck, and the red boar king was less intelligent and less powerful than the new trend of monsters he had been facing.

"I'm logging off for now," Wilder said as he stood up to leave.

"me too"

"sure, see you later."

*logging off

"Hmm," Wilder said, taking off his helmet and stepping out of the gaming cabin.

Immediately after he fell to the ground, he started doing pushups.

Even though he had some beef with the instructor, he couldn't help but agree with what he had said: High Heaven was meant to condition them to take care of their people, so they had to train constantly.

Plus, Wilder had noticed that the exercise helped a lot in terms of the things he could do in game; it seemed like the better he got at doing certain moves in real life, the more proficient he became with them in game.

"ahh" Wilder stood up after finishing his routine. He looked outside and saw that the sun had completely set.

But destiny had something else in store for Wilder once again.

As he closed his eyes to sleep, he heard a sound on the door.

"At this time of the night?" Wilder looked at the door in a daze.

"Click," the door slowly opened, revealing a lady with a cloak on.

Even with the cloak, Wilder could still see her luscious and beautiful curves.

"Sorry, who are you?" Wilder asked

But not even a second later, the cloak dropped,

revealing her swimsuit.

Wilder's eyes widened.

He could see everything except for her face, and he was a bit tensed as she slowly approached him.

"Lay down on your back," her feminine voice resounded through all the corners of the room.

"boom"

Before Wilder knew it, he was already lying on the bed. At first, he thought it was some sort of reflex action until he felt a warm body press up against his

"Whoa, is this really happening?" Alarms were soon sent through Wilders' body.

This was just too surprising.

She had stepped into his room unannounced and directly laid down on him. He didn't know what to think, but she didn't seem to have bad intentions; in fact, it seemed like this was something completely normal to her.

Her breath could soon be felt on the skin of his neck.

"damn!!" Wilder was incensed.

This was just too strange
