Planet Nex

Boss Bruno stood up in frustration. "How can we learn so much? If we were really that good at learning, then why would we do these things?" Boss looked at the teacher Ron with help helpless face, "Is there any other method?"

Others in the gang nodded after their boss. They shared the same feeling.

Teacher Ron looked at them and shook his head in disappointment. "On the first day, I told you this game is difficult. If there was a shortcut, then why would the gang waste so much money on you guys? Be grateful for this chance and try your best to learn as much as possible."

Silence. No one dared to say anything.

At this Teacher Ron sighed and added in a low tone, "There is an easier way…"

At this, all the members looked at the Teacher with bright eyes. One of them asked, "Sir, what the way?"

"You will understand at the end of the meeting."

Everyone nodded their head vigorously.

Jules clicked his tongue, hearing all these things. 'When is he going to talk about the game?'

Teacher Ron tapped on the wall to change the slide in the projector, and a massive planet map appeared on the screen.

Jules's eyes shone as he scanned the map.

Teacher Ron pointed to the map. "This is the planet Nex. On the map, there are 6 major land regions. At the top north, you have the mountain region full of snow, then there is a massive forest and a few hills on the east side."

"To the west, it's plain ground and a massive desert. The south land is full of active volcanoes, and the land here is barren and full of cracks."

"Then you have the center region that is mostly grassland. Down below the south of the land, there is a sixth region full of islands. The ocean surrounds all this landmass."

Many scratched their heads but still nodded.

Teacher Ron slid to the next page of the presentation and displayed the same map, but this time filled it with information about empires and kingdoms.

Teacher Ron started explaining the major political systems and life forms present on the planet.

There were 3 dominant creatures on the planet. Humans in the north, Forest Elves in the east, and Red Orcs in the south. Then there were many small species, like goblins, beastman, different varieties of elves and orcs, dwarfs, and more.

Planet Nex did not focus on species wars, but more on kingdom wars.

There were 2 massive empires on the planet, one at the center plain area and the other at the east forest.

Besides these empires, there were 10 old kingdoms and multiple newly formed kingdoms, each with a distinct set of royal families.

Besides these empires, there were 2 big organizations spread all around the planet. Those were the mage association and adventure guild, along with a bunch of mid to small-size organizations.

The 6th region full of the island was the most chaotic region full of mermen, pirates, and endless beasts. Overall, it was full of diversity

Teacher Ron then tapped on the map, and a few regions started blinking on the map. "Well, you do not have to think much of the political aspect, just a basic idea of the thing will do. It's better if you explore on your own."

"Now, within the game, you can start from anywhere. Your task is to find where you get transmitted and then travel toward any blinking area on the map."

As everyone focused on the map, one guy asked, "Sir, what's in these areas?"

Teacher Ron said, "Once you reach these areas, you will meet higher-level players from the gang who will teach you all the things. The faster you arrive at these locations, the more guidance you will receive from the gang."

The group member's eyes started shining at this, but then the Vice leader asked, "Is there any time limit to reach there? What if we start far away from these blinking areas?"

Teacher Ron nodded. "You have around 1 and a half months at max to reach these areas. This much is sufficient time for you to travel, even if you land in some remote area away from any blinking area. While I believe for most of you, it will be a few days' journey. This is the first task from the gang, so you better not fail it."

Everyone nodded in hope, while Jules shook his head as he knew it was a trap.

On the one hand, Teacher Ron scared most of them about the game to force them to not do stuff on their own and just rush to these areas under the kingdom's rulers.

It was a common tactic used in his last life. He knew once you reached these areas, these gang members would misguide you to make species that help the gang in the short run and were worse for the players.

He scanned the room and saw few had doubts on their face.

These guys must have done some research.

On the internet, the first advice most players got was to avoid the central areas of the planet.

But here, most of the blinking spots were directly in the middle of all regions and completely counter to what's on the internet.

Teacher Ron then continued to teach about stuff like quests, dungeons, and what not to do as the rulers.

He also explained a little about other stuff, which Jules completely ignored. Jules had no interest in falling for any of the bullshit coming out of the teacher's mouth.

After 1 hour of long explanation, the meeting finally ended with Teacher Ron giving each of them a form where they needed to fill in details about their three choices.

Jules filled in his slightly false details and walked out of the meeting room along with others.

Once out, he rushed toward the gaming hall. Few walked to other areas, while most were the same as him.

Inside the gaming hall, he jumped into the gaming pod and logged back to the game.
