As Glitch stepped inside the village, a loud howl shook the entire village.
OWWWWWWW!!!
It was so loud that even the ground beneath him started shaking and a new notification popped in front of him.

Event: Wrath of Young King
After smelling the blood of so many underlings, the ruler of Canine is angry. In anger, he is trying to enter planet Nex… World law prevents the king. Not accepting this disrespect, the youngest son of the ruler passed through the space crack to seek revenge.
Task: Get ready to fight against the young king.
(Note: start of the last phase of the trial. Dying means the end of the trial.)

Everything became silent after that one howl. In this silence, he heard a much weaker bark 'Bow!' and then, hell went loose, he heard hundreds of howling and barking.
The surrounding group looked at each other at a loss.
"Guys, what's going on here?"
"Ah, I think some trigger this additional event."
"Smartass, I can see that much, but how?"
"Who trigger this event?"
One standing in the front shook his head. "Guys, stop wasting time. It is a hunting event. This is our chance to create difference…"
Before he could finish, one guy shouted while pointing at the forest, "Ca... a… Captain, look!"
Everyone started shivering as they saw thousands of dogs, foxes, wolves, and many other canine creatures running in the forest toward them.
They even spotted a few unlucky players who were still running toward the village, getting torn into pieces by these creatures.
The angry waves, unsatisfied with a few kills, rushed out of the forest and started running toward the village.
At this, players standing near the gate screamed and started moving back in fear. Glitch mimicked them, but his entire focus was on the forest.
His eyes were moving all around, searching for the young king. The key to getting the most out of this task was to kill that guy.
He did not plan to let others snatch his prey, but the problem was he did not know who was the young king among them.
As he was thinking, an old man walked out of the main village. Before anyone could react, the old man slammed his cane on the ground. Clang!
Ding!
A new notification popped in front of him.

Event II: Call of the Village Chief II
Description: The village chief detected an immense danger outside the village. To protect the villagers, he used the protection barrier.
Task new: Defend against the wave of angry canines and protect the star village.

With the new event notification, a yellow transparent dome barrier surrounded the entire village.
He saw multiple wolves and dogs slammed into the barrier, but none could pass through it.
Dogs tried to bite the barrier while wolves used their claws to slash, but nothing worked against the tough barrier.
At that moment, a massive 5-meter silver wolf walked out of the forest. All the players went pale after seeing the wolf. Some even fell to the ground and started shaking.
Everyone knew this was the game, but still seeing just a massive realistic creature caused fear in them.
The Silver Wolf started at the enormous dome and then at the old chief.
It just growled like giving commands and 1000s of creatures all moved back to the forest. Wolf looked at the barrier one last time and then disappeared into the forest.
Even with no silver wolf player could still see hundred of heads poking out of the bushes, staring at them with no sound. This new silence created much more pressure on the players.
The old chief standing at the front turned back and glanced at the surrounding players. Then he shook his head as if disappointed and walked back into the village.
Players stood there in disappointment but then heard a large shout from a villager, "To help all the rulers deal with new danger, the village head gave a 150% discount on all the items available in the village."
As they heard that group of players shout in excitement around him, "Let go, guys, we can do it!"
"Yeah, we can't miss these 2 events."
The captain of this group added, "Except for that young king, others were just some inferior creatures. It will be easy, boys."
"Yeah, with little effort, we will deal with them."
"Yes, captain, let's hurry!"
Most of the surrounding player regained their confidence and rushed into the village.
Glitch stared at the forest in confusion. From the gigantic size, it looked like that large silver wolf was the young king. But if he remembered correctly, then after that big howl, he heard a weaker bark.
From what he knew about the canines, these guys strictly followed the hierarchy, so there was no way a random dog would bark after the actual king.
It should most likely be the young king, but then the wolf could not bark. 'Is that silver wolf, young king?' He thought in confusion.
After staring at the forest for some time, he decided to move to the next phase of his plan while taking that silver wolf as the young king.
Even though he doubted that the real deal might be someone else, targeting the fake one was still better than nothing.
Not wasting more time, he walked to the village market. It was just a big road where multiple kinds of shops were present on both sides.
Right now, it was extra crowded. He did not rush to buy stuff. Instead, he walked toward the end of the road that was full of trash heaps that formed a little garbage hill. He used that as a step to jump on a nearby rooftop.
Not trying to attract much attention, he swiftly jumped from one rooftop to another toward the village plaza. With all the houses built so close to each other, he could practically reach everywhere except the back area where the village chief lived.
As he moved near the plaza, he spotted one interesting group. Instead of running around for cheap stuff, these guys were shouting among themselves.
