26 Angry boss

Glitch clicked on the Species talent.

[Tough life: The creature will not die without a fight.

Effect: once the creature's health drops below 10% endurance and resistance double up.]

His mouth fell open as he saw the talent description.

It would be super bad if it were some other talent or skill. But species talent was something that would work on all the creatures that would be born in his species.

He could not believe he gained a health-based talent. This was something that would show little impact on fighting power, but in experiments, his success rate would increase by large margins.

Just this talent would increase his chance of success in the evolution path, especially in the later stages of the game.

He then clicked on the Blood Converging Symbiosis.

[Blood converging symbiosis: Creature can inject the blood of other creatures to get a temporary boost in strength and mutation.]

He rubbed his eyes when he saw this. This method was much better than the basic methods he used to get in his past life.

Not sure, but it must be because of that sub-source choice.

From the description, he found this method to be super solid. Still, he knew he had to do some experiments to find out more about it.

At this moment, all the screens and lights disappeared around him. He was back in the darkness.

A voice popped into his head.

[Ruler Glitch had made all the selections. Ruler Glitch will get teleported to planet NEX at a random location.

(59:42)]

With that, a countdown of 1 minute started.

Glitch sighed and decided to log out of the game. He had already been awake for over 24 hours.

'It would be better to start the game with some rest.' Thinking that, he said, "log out."

A prompt appeared in front of him.

He clicked on yes, and soon he lost all the sensations in his body.

The next moment, he opened his eyes inside the gaming pod. With familiarity, he tapped on a big button on the side, and the game pod lid popped open.

He lay there for a few seconds to organize his thoughts about the recent selection. Still lost in thought, he moved out of his gaming pod.

When he turned around, a punch landed straight on his face.

Bam!

It was so strong that he fell straight to the ground.

Not knowing what was going on, he just covered his head and bent his knees in a curling position.

Before he could understand the situation, two kicks landed on his stomach.

Uff, uff!

They were so strong he started rolling on the ground, seething in pain.

"You damn bastard! How dare you run away!"

One more foot landed on his arms. Tears formed in his eyes with pain.

He realized it was none other than Boss Bruno. From the gaps in his finger, he spotted multiple members standing around him.

Without saying much, they started stomping on him.

He just laid there, trying his best to protect his neck and head.

As Bruno was about to kick more, someone shouted from the front, "Stop! what going on there!"

At this, Bruno and others moved back.

He wiped the tears off his face, and taking deep breaths, he sat up.

Even in so much pain, his eyes moved around, trying to understand the surrounding situation.

He saw there were many like him lying on the ground, covered in snot and tears.

Most of them were new members who just joined them, a few recruits, and the other three chore boys.

A different group with Boss Bruno and other senior members stood at the front of the gaming hall, staring at them and the gaming pods that were still closed.

Even in pain, he sighed. For a moment, he doubted that others had found out about his in-game action, but that did not seem to be the case.

He looked at the speakers in the top corner of the front wall of the gaming hall and realized it must be Teacher Ron's voice from the speaker.

This was something he had grown accustomed to in his last life, but he never expected these guys to start so early.

In his last life, most of the gang members controlled themselves for the first few months.

Only when a few of the big members got their characters deleted did they revert to their old lifestyle of bossing around others.

The pain was not much big deal for him, but he was a little confused at the senior member's reaction.

All of them had their face red like they were about to kill somebody.

If he was not wrong, then most of them must have died fast in the last war. After all, with the first line running up, it was the second defense line that faced the most destructive attack from the canine army.

Still, he could sense that it was not the only reason for their anger. After all, no one would get so angry about something they did not understand.

'Maybe someone in the game explains the situation to them or maybe,' he looked at the speaker, 'it can be teacher Ron.'

The way these guys were reacting, one thing was obvious. All of them understood how big of an opportunity they missed.

He clicked his tongue and stopped caring about them.

After working for so long, he was already dead tired, and he doubted they would let him walk out. He just laid back on the floor, waiting for more drama to unfold.

What was interesting was Vice Leader Yusif was among those 4-5 people who were still in the gaming pod.

Even in his last life, the Vice leader progressed much faster than others in the group. This led to serious conflict between the Boss and vice leader.

He was interested to see if something like that would once again happen this time.

At this moment, another gaming pod popped open and Boss Bruno's group rushed toward it with red faces.
