Payback

Selena and Granger stayed with their positions for a few more seconds before the scene sinked into Selena's mind. "Huh? H-h-h-huhhhhhh?!" Her face flushed with red from embarassment with their positions. She pushed him making her fall on the floor on her butt.

"O-o-ouch!" She exclaimed supporting her back from pain. Granger is doing his best in holding back his laughter from her reaction. Selena rolls her eyes on him and pouts. "Help me out here, would you?" Selena shouted at him.

Granger reached his hand to her to help her stand. "Your reaction is a good payback for earlier." He smirked.

Selena rolled her eyes on his remark. "Mean." She tapped the dusts on her dress and turned her back to Granger. "Well, the fact that you are beaten by a girl is more embarrassing." *giggles*

"Pffftt." Alucard who has just entered the grounds holds his laughter from what he heard. "Seriously bro? You got beaten by her?" Alucard trying hard to suppress his laughter while pointing at Selena who is just smiling sweetly at the two boys.

Granger smirked devilishly. "Yes, yes. I lost. You should spar with her too, Alu." Alucard shows confusion from what he said.

"Are you sure, bro?!" Alucard's voice heightened. "I don't want to make her cry!" He said glancing at Selena who still wears her smile.

"I wouldn't worry about that Alu." Granger replied. He looked at Selena. "It's alright to you Selena, right?"

Selena giggled. "Sure." She replied walking back to the center of the grounds.

Few moments later...

Alucard trying to catch his breath. "I- hah- I got your point bro- hah-."

Granger laughs loudly at Alucard's pathetic state. "I'm not weak bro, she's just too strong ahahaha"

Selena is quietly standing at one side of the grounds and looking at the two guys talking. "Aaaahhhh, he's so dreamy laughing loudly. He looks like he's really having fun. I hope he laughs like that with me too." Selena's at the back of her mind thoughts while watching the two guys. "I will prepare dinner. I'll go now." The two guys nodded and so she happily skips towards the dining hall.

They had dinner for the night and she went to the quarters meant for her. Selena stares at the moon by the window when she saw groups of demon hunters going into patrol to defend against demons.

"Hey, demon." She called out to her Abyssal demon. "Why do you think humans have so much affection towards the feeling of superiority among other beings?"

"I don't know, my child." Her abyssal demon answered.

"Because that's just how ugly humans are. They aren't capable of satisfaction for what they already have. Scums!" Selena blurted out with disgust.

Selena heard a knock on her door. "Selena?" Selena gasped wondering if the person on the other side of the door heard her talking to her abyssal demon.
