Moonlight Priestess

As Miya said, she dragged Selena out of the temple to go shopping from human market.

"Hey Miya." Selena called out.

"Hmm?" Miya responded while looking around the stores.

"Don't you think there's a lot of demons and dark creatures here and why are the humans alright with it?" Selena confusingly asked as she looked around her.

Miya stared at her. "Huh? You don't know these?" She asked pertaining to the residents of darkness Selena is asking about.

Selena had a more confused reaction on her face.

Miya laughed. "It's Halloween."

"Halloween?" - Selena

"It's that time of the year where some people especially kids dress up like some scary creatures to scare others. It's a yearly tradition from the humans." Miya explained.

"Hmm. I never knew there's a festival for scaring each other in the human realm." Selena said.

Miya giggled. "If I didn't know your past, I would really think you are not human when you act like this Selena."

Selena's eyes squinted a little.

"Let's stop dilly-dallying. We have a lot of things to look at. We don't have much time." Miya cheerfully pulled Selena to look around.

The two of them looked around a lot of shops and Miya bought dresses and accessories for Selena. It's already nighttime when they finished shopping.

They are sitting at a bench eating ice cream when as they rest before they go back to the temple.

"Miya, you don't live at the demon hunters' temple, do you?" Selena asked.

"No. I work and live at the Moon God's temple. Despite what I look, I am the Moonlight Priestess." Mjya explained and smiled genuinely at Selena under the full moon.

Selena suddenly dropped the dessert that she was holding as she heard the statement of Miya. Her heart started beating fast.

'Child, she has the power of the Moon God. You have to kill her.' Her demon began speaking to her on her mind. 'You can get the power you are seeking, kill her.'

Selena held her head to calm herself down.

'Shut up demon! Do not tell me what to do! I don't need the little bit part of the Moon God's power within her. I need her to bring me to the one who was blessed by the Moon God.' Selena replied to her demon through her mind.

"Hey Selena, are you alright?!" Miya trying to comfort her new friend.

"Yeah, yeah, thanks. There was just a sudden pain in my head." Selena explained fixing herself.

"You must be tired. Let's go back. I bet Granger is worried for you." Miya said teasingly.

Selena blushes awkwardly.

"Haha I knew you had the hots for Granger as well." Miya teased further as they walk back to the temple.

They were laughing all through out their walk back to the temple when they came across a heavily wounded man that fell down a few inches away from them.

They ran towards the man. The man is no longer breathing.

"It's the work of the demons." Miya calmly said. "Selena, go back first to the temple, inform Alucard and Granger about this. I'll try to hunt the demons if they're still around."

"No Miya, you should be the one to call them, I'll go and hunt down the demons. Don't worry, despite how I look, I'm strong too." Selena replied.

Miya looked at her and nodded. She stood up and ran towards the temple.

Selena watched Miya as she ran further. She changed her appearance to her orinigal one when Miya is no longer in sight.

"This is one disgusting gift you got me." Selena exclaimed.

"Hee-hee! I thought you'd like it. Since you have been playing around with humans and residents of the light for quite a while now, right witch?" The unknown demon replied showing himself to Selena.
