Chapter 7

(Author's pov)

Everyday Sarah would stay with Mike for hours. telling him about her day and whispering sweet words for him. However, another problem has arrived for Sarah. The money she got from her company wasn't enough to pay for the surgeries and the constant care of doctors and of nurses that Mike needed. Due to these constant problem, Sarah decided to see some of her jewelleries that she and Mike had once brought together. however, the money from the jewelleries did not last long either. it has already been a two month since Mike slipped into coma. Sometimes very small reactions could be seen from him. such as moving of fingers in his hands and sometimes he could breathe properly without any need of oxygen masks. however, even this won't last long. he could breathe normaly for only two days. during this month, James would come by from time to time.

it was almost a month and a half when Mike was once again taken to the emergency room.

"excuse me, hello are you the family of Mr Mike ?" a nurse asked Sarah.

"ah yes it's me. is everything okay ?" Sarah asked as she turned to look at the nurse.

"yes Mrs. it's just that Mr Mike's doctor wants to have a talk with you. please come with me." the nurse said. she was on shock when she saw the beautiful lady standing infront of her. 'is she a model? ' she thought. the nurse came out of her daze when the voice which seemed to be reminding her of spring came again "but Mike is still inside the surgery room.." Sarah was going to continue when James tapped her shoulder and said

"I'll stay here to look over at Mike. go see the doctors he might have something important to tell " he said to me.

I looked at James and slowly nodded my head "then please take care of him until I return"

"please take me to see the doctor" I said to the nurse as she nodded her head and showed me the way. one last time Sarah looked back at the door for emergency room and left with the nurse.

The nurse left Sarah outside the door of the doctor and went away to complete her work for the day.

Sarah stood outside the blue for a few minutes and then knocked. after getting a 'come in' from inside, Sarah twisted the door knob and entered.

"good evening doctor" Sarah greeted the elderly doctor named John and stood inside the pale blue coloured room.

the doctor saw Sarah and asked her to sit on the black leather seats infront of the table.

"Sarah...I came to know about how your recent money for the surgeries and also the money for payment for the nurse is also not payed.

Sarah looked down twoards the white marbled floor. she was not embarrassed she was sad. sad because her buisness was not doing too good and that her lover was fighting against life and death.

the doctor looked at the beautiful girl sitting infront of him sadly and said.

"Sarah it's been three and almost a half month. during this time period Mike had to go through many surgeries. I'm sorry to tell you but I don't think he can live any longer on the life supporting system honey. please reconsider things once again."

the doctor could hear light sobs from her as she said "I only have him doctor. please save him. I don't have parents. please I beg you"...
