"Sarah is that.... really you ?" asked Noah. How can he forget her? She has been the only one who was able to catch his attention all this years. The girl he had liked for so long that he already lost the count of the years.

Sarah looked extremely dazzling in the moonlight. The girl who was once cute looking during her high school days, looked alluring now. Even without makeup, she stood out among the crowd.

The rain started to drizzle and after a few minutes, stopped completely. All this time, Noah and Sarah did not break there eye contact. After a few seconds, Sarah finally questioned out "Do I know you ?"

It was as if lightening had fallen upon Noah. 'she does not even remember me !!' After a few seconds he said "Yes you do know me. I'm sad that you don't remember me sarah. it's me Noah. Your friend from high school. Does that ring a bell ?"

Sarah thought for a while. The rain had stopped so she closed the umbrella in her hands and said in almost a murmur "Noah... from high school...Noah !" She snapped her fingers and said with a smile "Noah Walker ?"

Noah let out a breath he did not know he had been holding and said "Yes. It's great to see you here. How have you been ? we haven't talked since our graduation." Noah was once again surprised. He had never been much of a talker but with Sarah and Mike, he could share easily everything. 'Wait Mike ! wasn't she dating Mike ?' but before he could speak about Mike , Sarah replied with her same cold voice. "I've been great. I guess I lost connection with everyone after graduation. by the way, I don't think you can use your car anymore."

'Ah yes the car...car? Oh shit my car !'

Noah thought. "ah yes you're right. I'm sorry for scratching your car too" he said

"it's fine. considering we have been friends, do you want me to give you a ride to your home ?" she asked

'heck yes. I've never been more happier.

good god thank you for sending that cat.' he thought. He was too happy to even think further !

"ah yes it would be great if you do that. I'm sorry for troubling you" he said to Sarah as he happily jumped in his mind.

"come in" Sarah replied as she unlocked the car. after settling themselves down, there was a deafining silence inside the car. To break the silence, Noah asked suddenly

"How have you and Mike been ?"
