Chapter 1:

"These streets never change!"

Sendo, a dedicated corporate salary man smiled as he made onto his usual routine navigation on his way through the busy streets of Shibuya on route to his job.

"Sendo!"

'Ah! Morning!"

Typically, he would receive a few greetings as he navigated through the crowds. Most were from people that he knew through work.

"Mr. Sendo!"

'Hello!'

He always responded with a nice smile and a wave.

A positive and upbeat attitude was somewhat uncommon when walking through the crowds. This magnetic trait of his is likely what drew people to him and no doubt allowed him to form connections.

Sendo's eyes opened with intrigue.

As the introductory lines were playing, Sendo eyes were glossed over as he said to himself,

'Hmm. It's likely the same as all the others -- just a quick gimmick to draw attention, right?'

The ad jumped to several dozen of characters gathering together. Characters were different in their model style, in their race and height, species and weaponry, and much more, but in unison they jumped and said:

Whimsical music played and the ad went through several montages which showcased the races, classes, species, locations, activities, animals and skill tree that the game had to offer.

*beeep* *beeep*

An high-pitched squeak from his watch alerted him.

"Oh, it's 7:50!"

Sendo turned away from the glass window and speedily resumed his route to his office job.

'Wow. How weird. Are those races and beast creatures I saw actually playable?" he muttered to himself.

'that might not be a bad VR.'

After a few minutes, Sendo neared his place of work. The building was the typical boring, brown architecture that provided an sizable office space, which in Sendo's opinion had too few windows. On the top of it was a huge antennae which read the logo, Logistar -- One of the biggest data analytic companies in all of Toyko.

As Sendo walked in the door, he perked up. There was a noticable change in his posture, smile, and eyes. It was as if he entered into the happiest place to work on Earth. He passed by the receptionist's desk greeting her with a soft smile and bow.
