Yolanda!! Dad called out my name when he comes home after work. He does that whenever he is home from work because he always brings me chocolate and ice cream. Which is my favorite

I come out of my room and went downstairs to see him, I hug him and he kissed me in the forehead and asked, "how is my princess doing today"? " I'm doing great Dad and how was work today?" I said and asked at the same time.

"Fine my princess", he said and walk to the kitchen to get water to drink and walk out from thereafter while. "I would like to talk to you about something later and less I forget here is your ice cream and chocolate". He said and hand it over to me before he started climbming the stairs to go up in his room. I smile and said. "Thank you, Dad and I love you". "I love you too princess", he replied while he walks upstairs.

I walked to the kitchen to see Jane. Jane was kind of my nanny; I know it funny for a sixteen years old girl to have a nanny but I do. Don't get me wrong, she was my nanny from the time I was six. My Mom die when I was six and my Dad find a nanny because he want a lady figure in my life, who can understand me more when I start growing up. Jane was around twenty when she starts being my nanny. She was a freshmen student at university at that time and he needs money to pay her fees. My Dad paid her fees and paid her for taking care of me. Jane has finished law school years back and she is working on one of my Dad business law firms but she is always come home and check up on me, my brothers, and the household affairs. She makes sure the maid does what they are to do and be there for me and my brothers in case of anything. Let say she is like a mother figure to us.

You are properly thinking when I mentioned brothers, yes, I have two brothers who are twins. Jim and James their names. They are the five years old boys we have in this house, kidding they are not five years old but my elder brothers.

They cause a lot of noise in the house like five years old more especially when they are playing video games.

Jane was seating in the kitchen with her phone in her hand properly, she is doing some work-related to something on her phone. I snick behind her and shout in her ears. "boo!" She nearly had a heart attack. "Ooh, Yolanda stops doing that," she said holding her chest. I laughed, "you are going to kill me one day", she said. "I'm only going to kill you with love", I said. She laughed, "come here, what's up," she said patting the chair next to her, telling me to sit there. I sit and place the ice cream and chocolate on the table next to us. "Dad said he wants to talk to me later, I was thinking about what he will want to talk about, do you have any idea what is it"? I asked Jane. "No dear", she said clearly look doubtful like me. "You are starting your senior year on Monday, right"? She asked. "Yes, going back to the same old stuff", I replied. She knows how I think about school; how boring school is to me and I don't have any friends. "

"My baby is all grown up already", she said clearly know that I will be annoyed when I'm called that. "I'm not a baby anymore you know that Jane, please stop calling me that". I said. "Okay okay, big baby clam down", now she is annoying me more. I just laughed because I know what she is trying to do and I'm not into it right now. "You know you are funny to watch when you are annoyed," she said again. "FYI I'm not talking to you again", I said getting up from the chair. She laughed and said "I'm just joking with you know that Yolanda, slow down tiger". "I know and I also got you on this one", I'm not annoyed, I said.

Jane and I are like best friends who always pull each other legs. I take my seat back in the chair and we started eating the ice cream Dad brought me. "You know you aren't going to eat my chocolate, right?" I said more like a question she already knows the answer. "I know that chocolates manic", she said laughing me. Ice cream and chocolate are my favorites but when it comes to chocolate, I don't share it with no one.

After we are done eating the ice cream, I wash my hand and went upstairs to my room living Jane in the kitchen to help the maid prepared the meal and tell them what needs to be done around the house.

When I was in my room, I heard a loud noise coming from the next room. Clearly, you already know who the room is that, my brother's. They are probably playing video games. I go out and start banging on there door. Jim opens the door "what!" He said. "Can you guys please me quite and behave like a gentleman, not kids who shout over a video game," I said. "Okay baby Yolanda," Jim said laughing clearly know that I will be annoyed. "Dad Jim has started again," I shouted. "Jim stop disturbing your sister," Dad shouted from his room. The rooms in the house are next to each other, so you can get the next person when he or she shouted along the corridor. Jim laughed and close the door while James was still causing noise inside.

Ooh God, I wish Mom is here, I said and walk back to my room. I miss her sometimes although we don't have much time together those five years, we spent together were the best ever. Although Dad and Jane are trying their best to be there for us sometimes, it does not work. Mom was a pretty and gorgeous woman; she is also hard-working. She helps Dad build a Grey empire which is one of the best business companies in the world. Which is own by Dad's. yes, we are rich but I look at it in a different way.

People said I look like a mom now that I am all grown up even Dad said that I reminded him about mom now that I am all grown up. Mom has long hair, a pointed nose, and her skin was flawless, she was like Victoria's Secret model. I look like my mom but the only difference is that her eyes are blue in color and mine her light brown like my Dad's. Yes, I have my Dad eyes, while my brother also looks like my Dad but have Mom's eyes.

After an hour one of the maids called me and my brothers to come downstairs for dinner, we went down and Dad was already there waiting for us. I come towards the table and give Dad a kiss on the cheeks and sit next to him. I watch around and don't see Jane, "where is Jane?" I ask my Dad. "she just left, she said she got some work to finish at the firm," Dad replied. "So late?" I asked. "Yes, dear when you are an employee you don't really have many breaks," Dad said. "I wish Jim and James were working also, so the house could be quiet" I said clearly annoying them. "Hahahaha funny" they both said as they take a seat next to me and Dad. They can't annoy me when Dad is there, so I do annoy them. I pull my tongue out and put my hands on my ears, waving them like a child on them. They are really annoyed right now but they can't do anything to me because Dad is here. "Cut it off guys let eat", Dad said laughing. We pray and eat.

After eating, Dad said he has a surprise for my brothers. He pulls out two car keys and hand over them to my brothers. "I bought them because you guys are now in university, I was nineteen years old and it was at that same time my own Dad give me my first car.

And I don't want you guy and Yolanda to use the same car to go to school because you guys will be late for your classes," Dad said. "But they won't Dad their University is just near my school". I said. "Not anymore because I had changed your school and your new school is like an hour away from theirs," Dad said. "Dad! Why?" I said. "I notice that you don't have any friends in your school and you need one, and also it the school your mom attended," Dad replied. "Okay but it, not me, no one wants to be my friend and I hate fake people, and most of the students there are not real friends," I said. "Okay and that why I change your school and this new school is a girl's school that is a girl only attend there," Dad said. "I know what a girl's school is Dad, I'm not a kid," I said.

"Okay, smart head, and I'm sure you will have a real friend there, just like how your mom have friends like an aunty Abie, aunty Katie and aunty Lola," Dad said. "Okay fine", I said. "Come here princess," Dad said open his am for a hug. "You are going to love it there I promise;" he said and kiss me on my forehead. I guess he is right, look at all my mom friend they are always there for me and my brothers even though my mom is no longer alive, they visit most times, called to check on us, and give us a gift for our birthday, and even come to celebrate with us if they are in town and if they are out for a business meeting or trips they called and send their gift. They are real friend's and they are now like family to us. "You are going to be okay baby Yolanda and we are here for you," my brothers said and join in the hug. I laughed because I know they are trying to annoy me by calling me baby Yolanda. "I love you guys so much", Dad said. "We love you too Dad," we three said together. After we break the hug my brothers ran outside to check what kind of car Dad has bought for them. I also was on my way outside to check out their car, "baby Yolanda", Dad called me clearly to annoy me. "Not you too Dad, you know I hate it when I am called baby Yolanda, I'm not a baby anymore", I said. You are always going to be the Grey family baby girl and get prepared we are going shopping tomorrow," Dad said and walking towards his studies. I smile and went outside.

My brothers were already checking out their cars. Wow, it was a 2019 Range Rover sport. Which cost $79,300. Although it a small amount of money to Dad but it not for others. Jim's own was red and James' own was a sky blue in color. Dad got it right that their favorite colors. They were super happy but I know they are going to use one most of the time, that is Jim's own rover sport because James is always with him even when it comes to their room. James is now in Jim's room, left his own room. You can't separate those two, they are like Jack and Rose.

I was a bit sad because I'm going to miss my old school, although I don't have any friends I'm going to miss the teachers and the staff that works there. I sometimes spend my lunchtime talking with them and it is really fun talking with them.

But anyway let see what the new school has in store for me.

I went to the TV room and watch my favorites Tv series which is the bold type. I can't stop watching it.

It is a Tv show base on three best friends who are bold and inspiration to women and girls. They are not afraid of taking risks and more especial it teaches you to be yourself and be open.

After hours I think I fell asleep but Dad wakes me up, he always does that

from the time I was little, he knows that I will be there watching TV and I always fell asleep.

When I was little, whenever I fell asleep in the TV room, he used to take me up and take me to my room. Now that I am all grown up and too heavy to carry, he just wakes me up and tells me to go up to my room.

I wake up and say goodnight to Dad and walk upstairs to my room and sleep like a baby.
