The Hint To Harry

For four years the great Harry Potter had been missing. Over those four years, things had definitely changed. For Granger, Weasley, Weaselette, and even for Draco. After finding out his father had been killed by his own mother, he joined the auror department to do all he could to save his own reputation. Of course, he had only become an auror out of his own selfishness, but now he found himself enjoying the work. Right now, he was on his way to meet Weasley, who was now the head of the auror department. Crazy right? But with Harry gone, Weasel had worked hard to be the best he could, so maybe one day he could find his best mate. Turned out he wasn't a good for nothing idiot after all. Draco finally arrives at Weasels office.

'Head of Aurors' the door sign reads.

'Typical Weasel.' Draco mutters, when he sees another sign below it reading 'joke shop.' Draco pushes the door open and walks into the office.

'Your late Malfoy.' Weasel says.

'Huh. In my defence, I only got your owl five minutes ago.' Draco replies, tyring his best not to scream at the idiot.

'You were supposed to be here once the owl arrived.'

'I am. You can't have seriously expected me to arrive the second I saw your owl?' Draco asks disbelievingly.

'Yes, that is what I expected of you.' Weasley replies. Draco's eye twitches. Taking a deep breath he finds he's still able to talk civilly.

'Well Weasley, do you remember that your wife has made it so you can't apparate inside the ministry, or is your head so full of sawdust that you can't remember your own wife's demands?' Draco sneers. Weasel looks stunned, then angry. He wants to fire Draco on the spot, but he can't afford to lose him, especially since what he was about to ask was going to require Draco's assistance.

'Look. I found a lead on Harry. I ask that you look through the files and find him. You got that Malfoy?' Weasley asks through clenched teeth.

'You want me… to find Potter?' Draco asks, stunned.

'Yes.' Weasley replies.

'That is the second stupidest thing you've said in the past five minutes Weasley, you're on fire.' Draco tells Weasley.

'From now on, I'd like…. No….. you must call me Ron. It's easier, and if you do manage to find harry…..If he finds out we've been working together for a year and still aren't on first name basis he'll personally kill us both.' Weasley- no, Ron, Tells Draco.

'Right then….. Where are the files you'd like me to look through?' Draco asks Ron.

'Right here, and Draco, if you kill Harry when you find him, I will kill you as well.' Ron hands Draco a file and glares at him.

'Yes, Yes Ron I get it.' The name feels weird on his tongue, and he can barely believe that it was him, speaking the name of the Weasel whom he'd hated for years.

That was a pretty old image. Draco laughs to himself, wondering, if potter was still out there, would he still look that good?

'Best not to think on it.' Draco murmurs to himself. He flips through a few pages, all of the information, or so called 'leads', not very helpful and a load of Bullshit. But on the very last page, he finds something that could possibly be helpful. At first glance it didn't look to helpful, but as he read over it a second time, he found something hidden in the words.

'A poem was left on the doorstep of the Malfoys, the handwriting belonging to Harry. It read,

I have said goodbye to Draco

Oh woe am I

Not what I was

so I play kidnapped

time to say good by

I feel fake love for Lucy

Time to change the last name Killham.' Now he was sure of it. To someone normal, it would seem like the poem was just gibberish and it would make no sense, but Draco was always rather good at solving things like this. Take the last word of every sentence and you would get Harry's true message. The bloody genius left Draco a message.

'Draco

I

Was

Kidnapped

Lucy

Killham' Draco reads aloud. Now he had a lead. A true lead.

'Bloody Genius!' Draco screams and plonks onto the couch. First thing the next day, he would find out who Killham was.
