Miss...Who?

I think I'm crazy, but those people says I'm not..? Are they even human? Why can’t most humans see them? You saw that just now right, Eleanor??? The world surely is turning upside down. What is happening to... Eh, I'll just suck it up and fight them. That's what's important to be alive right now... ~~~ (Btw, this is my first time posting a work of mine online, so it might not be that good yet, but I promise it'll get better, hopefully.)

Monster in School...Literally

As most of you would know, classes are quite boring. And as for me, even at the bottom of my deep, deep heart, classes, still, bored the living hell out of me.

I thought that because this is the second semester, things will get more fun and interesting, but turns out, I'm wrong.

Nothing exciting even happened and the way the new teacher, Mrs. Kendle, teaches, is super boring (even on the first day of school??) and she even speaks so softly that the students at the back of the class can't even hear a thing.

She is wearing a brown jacket with a white T-shirt under it. For her pants, she is wearing some kind of...is that the same sweatpants as mine?!? What a "unique" set of clothes...

As for the students in the front seat, they look like they are about to fall asleep, even those nerdy-looking students who look like the only thing they do is study. Some students even took out their smartphones and do what I assume was texting.

And even if they did that, Mrs. Kendle didn't even punish them, or else this class might be a little exciting for once. Even my 'enemy', Eleanor, didn't even try to throw papers at me.

Well, to be honest, even I wasn't even paying attention to the teacher too, but hey! It ain't my fault that the teacher speaks so damn soft, I could only hear the echo of the 'S' word.

And because of that, I took out my favorite book that I borrowed from the library, put it under the table (just in case Mrs. Kendle decided to look up from her textbook), and started to read it.

To all readers out there, don't you all hate it when you are about to read an interesting part of the book and someone decides to interrupt your peaceful reading? Yeah, I bet all readers hate it. And it just so happens to happen to me.

Half an hour passed and I was about to read the part where the main character is about to fight Kronos at the second titan war with his best friend, a satyr, and his soon-to-be 'girlfriend', someone at the back of the class decided to scream their lungs out. And that someone just so happens to be my enemy, Eleanor.

Well, at least there must be something terrifying that happened that made Eleanor scream.

It must be that she saw some flies or bugs or other creepy crawlies.

Students who sat in front looked in her direction and looked confused, you could see question marks burned on their faces. They didn't scream or anything, they don't even look scared or anything close to it, so why did she scream?

And I know my class. Most of the girls will scream even if they saw an ant crawling 6 feet away.

I decided not to question myself more, so instead, I turned around and saw….. What in the world is that!!?!

It has six, no, its whole head is full of eyes, some closing, and some opening. It's like a glob of mud mixed with… I don't even know what is the white stuff that is sticking out of the center of its…muddy body?

It looked like the Stink Spirit from Spirited Away.

And the creepiest part is its hands and legs. All of them are 2 meters long and were sticking out everywhere. Like Bill Cipher from Gravity falls when he is chasing Dipper and Mable, full of rage.

Terror enveloped me but I can't even scream. It's like the terror is holding my voice back.

Eleanor must be having the scariest time in her life since it is RIGHT beside her.

I know she bullies me or whatever but I have a feeling that I really need to help her.

"Miss Eleanor, would you mind keeping your screams to yourself? Now class, back to page…" Miss Kendle scolded then normally continues her class as if the thing isn't there.

That shook'ed' me like the time when I saw my cat's head stuck in between the fence.

I mean, did she not see the creepy thing??!? How can she be so calm?! Some of the classmates even snickered while turning back to do their stuff.

Is it only me and Eleanor that see that creature?

Something is NOT right, everything that happened from this morning is NOT right.

Both me and Eleanor turn to Miss Kendle in utter disbelieve.

That thing hasn't moved an inch but its mud started to melt and splattered down to the floor.

I turned to Eleanor again and made eye contact with her, signaling that I know that thing is beside her, and that I'm thinking about how to help her.

She looked at me desperately with her dark blue eyes, tears starting to form in it.

Because her desperation is effecting me, extra kill for the tears, an idea popped to my mind.

I cautiously raised my hand, trying not to trigger the mud monster, and ask for Miss Kendle. She looked at me, annoyed but still asked me what's wrong.

"Eleanor told me that she is on her….time…. you know what I mean right? And asked me to help her to the toilet. So can we go to the toilet?" I asked.

What am I even thinking? On her time? That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard myself saying and by the looks of Eleanor, I'm gonna get screwed later.

But who cares right now, am I right?

Once Miss Kendle agreed, both of us slowly got up from our seats, eyeing at the creepy thing. Fortunately, it hasn't moved yet. I wonder why though…

Once we are out of our class, we ran. We ran as fast as we could to the farthest washroom.
