Life in itself!
Being alive is such a miracle. The blood flowing through small capillaries, which are just like a network of veins in a leaf, so minor but so important! such small nerves, that help us to perform minute to huge functions, working like a huge network of wires transmitting electro chemical signals head to toe!
One cut to the jugular vein, will make you bleed like hell, one blow to your spine, you might not stand up or sit during your entire life time!
We blink every 6 seconds involuntarily! This simple action helps our eyes to relax and keep the dust away from getting inside the eyes, the minute hair in your nostrils helps to prevent dust and germs entering your internal organs!
So many lines of defense, yet how vulnerable..how Marvelous!
Jason's mind was rushing with all these thoughts, yet he remained calm.
He saw his mobile, there was a missed call..it was Tina's Mom!
He called and explained the situation, the woman on the other side was completely broken..she said 'Fred..he is like my son..I don't know how his parents will react...Mr.Jason, what should I do now?' she was crying..Jason said, 'don't worry aunty, I will talk to Fred's parents..you can come and see Tina and Fred meanwhile..' he gave her the address..
Time has come for the most dreaded phone call. ..he took a deep breath and then dialed the number..phone was ringing, after three rings there was a pause followed by a female voice.. , ' Hello!' Jason gulped and said, ' Hello, is it Fred's mom?' she said, ' yes, speaking!' he said, ' Hello aunty, this is Jason from Fred's office, ' she said ' you are his boss..right? what happened?' she sensed the anxiety in Jason's voice..she had a tight knot in her stomach..Jason said, ' aunty please stay calm..I just wanted to inform you that Fred met with an accident..he is In hospital..' she said, ' what?accident? what happened? is he OK? will he live? oh God ..' she gasped..
Jason could very well understand her anxiousness..he said, ' aunty..please..Fred is fine..you must come down and see him..he is recovering..' she said, ' oh..thank God! can I see him over a video call? can I talk to him?' he bit his tongue and said, ' aunty Fred is sleeping, let's not disturb him now..you want me to make your travel arrangements?' she said, ' it's alright..we will come immediately ..he is going to be ok ..right? where is Tina, why didn't she call me? does she know?' Jason said, ' Tina was with Fred..she too was a victim of this accident..she is recovering..' she said, ' oh my God! I should speak to Tina's mom...' Jason said, ' I informed her..Tina's parents are coming ' she said, ' oh that's better, she will take care of both the kids..we are coming..thank you son for informing me..God bless you..please stay with them till We come he said, 'ofcourse aunty, don't worry !'
