61 Chapter 61: How About Your Love Life?

"Wait? You're saying that mom and dad want to check up on me?" My eyes widen at the sudden remark. "Aren't they busy doing their royal duties? How come they have time to check up on me?"

"What's so surprising about that? They are your parents after all. Just because they have duties I'm sure they would check up on their own daughter." Lawrence answered. "It's the responsibility of a parent to do that. You should be thankful because some people's parents never gave a care about them. Kinda like mine..." He mumbled under his breath before.

Kinda like his? Hm.. what does he mean by that? I don't really know Lawrence's parents since I only saw himself so I guess that'll be a mystery...

"Ugh... I'm feeling a bit squeamish from the thought of them giving me a call..." I rubbed my tummy as I feel butterflies in my stomach.

"Um? Why is that exactly?" Lawrence's eyes ponder around the room before giving me a look of curiosity. "Aren't you happy that the king and queen are giving time to check up on you?"

"It's not like I'm not thankful for them. It's just that. I just feel this pressure you know? Not only are they my parents but they are also the king and queen of Aurora. I'm pretty sure they'd expect the best of me when we meet so I really need to be on my best behavior.." I sighed. "You know... there's this pressure to be perfect since you're a princess... like in those novels I read back at the castle."

"I don't think your mother and father are as shallow like on your books. Unlike those stuck up people in your book, I actually think your parents are very humble. They even treat any class equally, I suppose they got that from your grandfather." Lawrence reassures me but I still feel that in my heart.

I know that my parents aren't pressuring me to be great and that they are of golden heart but I still feel it in my body to be afraid to see me if

"I KNOW RIGHT! I HAVEN'T EVEN ACCOMPLISHED ANYTHING SINCE MY STAY HERE! ALL I DID WAS HANG AROUND AND TALK with people!" I ranted to him, making him clench his jaw.

"Well all you did was just talk to random bitches, to begin with, like how you wasted our time talking to THAT PIECE OF FILTH, WORTHLESS WASTE OF SPACE DIANA and his somewhat behavior allowing friend Cypress and you had another encounter with that stuck up shallow Meghan what's her name." Lawrence scoffed off all the people I met to his knowledge.

"Why do I get the feeling that you hate the people I've met so far?" I raised an eyebrow at the stomping attitude.

"Because I do hate them. I'm not even hiding the fact that I don't. I MEAN HAVE YOU SEEN THOSE HOOLIGANS YOU MET. WE GOT the humpy dumpty looking ass Diana who's clearly missing a few screws in her brain. Totally unladylike and such a nuisance to deal with. I hate her when she clings to me tightly." He complained, stating why Diana is annoying.

I suppose Lawrence doesn't know why Diana does that to him... I'm pretty sure it's obvious that the reason she does that is that she's interested in him but I guess Lawrence doesn't understand...

"Why do you hate the other two?" I inquired to him while he kept rambling on and on about how he hated Diana and such.

He didn't respond to my question and was lost in his train of neverending complaints with Diana. From the way she acts, the way she looks, the way she walks, the way she eats. He had a flaw to point out for every one of them but to my surprise, he's actually able to notice all of these details. HE MUST REALLY BE PAYING SOME BIG ATTENTION TO HER THEN...

"Seems like you have her in your mind quite a lot don't you?" I grinned at him naughtily.

"Yes. I do. I believe that she is an utter nuisance. Although may I ask, why are you grinning like that as if there's some sort of hidden innuendo in your statement." He asked me coldly, making my chuckle. Gosh! I didn't know my own attendant was this dense when it comes to love!

"Have you heard of the saying, the more you hate the person, the more you love the person! I got the feeling that you love her don't you!" I giggled like a schoolgirl, teasing Lawrence who kept a serious and emotionless face from my teasing.

"Hey! You're supposed to be blushing and acting giddy you know! It's not fun to tease someone if they aren't acting awkward and being embarrassed!" I called him out on it. It's no fun if the one being teased is not reacting at all...

"Well.. there's no need for me to be blushing about it because it's totally unnecessary." Lawrence rolled his eyes. "Also whoever said that quote of yours is clearly dumb. How does showing hate equalize love? That's just stupid."

"I mean I guess it's sort of foolish to think that two opposite things are the same however both of them show passion! Usually, when couples hate each other they will love each other soon enough! I mean that's why you always have Diana in your mind because you love her don't you?" I chuckled, teasing once again.

This time I was successful since I catch him, giving me an embarrassed look on his face before shifting back to a cold and devoided look. "Suppose that's just part of your petty imagination. I'll let that slide."

"By the way! I might be heading out later! I'm going to meet someone!" I told him suddenly, catching him off-guard.

"Who?" He shook his head in confusion.

"Fatima. Our dorm mate actually, lives next to us. She told me to go to her dorm later I wonder what she wants from me..." I smiled.
