21 Chapter 21: Princess Of Dirt

"Are you alright miss? That fall was pretty bad from my direction." The teen boy with mint hair, grabbed my arm, pulling me out of the plant box.

Gosh! This is so humiliating... getting covered in mud and gunk at the first day of school. This really just ruined my clothes... I'm going to have to take a shower again. I can't exactly go to the cafeteria looking like a hobo.

I glanced at the green-haired man who pulled me out of the plant box. He was ginormous, he's even taller than Lawrence and in my kingdom, Lawrence is taller than most of the adults there. He has spikey green hair, his eyes were brown and he wears a brown shirt along with a white apron. He has tanned skin which is rare in my kingdom. He must also be a foreigner.

"Are you alright, miss? Can you stand up?" He helps me get up, putting down the potted plant he has on his arms to assist me.

"Oh.. I'm alright.. nothing really broken here..." I reassured him that I was alright.

"This is what you get for being giddy and moving erratically... Now you're going to need to change your clothes..." Lawrence gives me an old fashion scolding.

"You're right..." I look down on my clothes which were soiled with mud. Ugh.. this is going to be hard to clean in the washing machine...

"Ooh... I've never seen the two of you before. Are you two new transfers here?" The green-haired person asked the both of us. Scanning our clothing and our mannerism.

"Yes.. we are. My name is Celestina Aurora and this right here is my brother, Lawrence Aurora, we both transferred here yesterday so we are quite new!" I responded to her, although lying about my past and my status.

Lawrence looked the green-haired guy with a poker face, extending his arm to him. "Hello.. what is your name?"

"I'm Cypress Green. I'm the gardening club's president. Although I'm the only member so ya..." He reached his arm to Lawrence for a handshake, tightly gripping his hand. Before letting go and letting out a soft smile.

His voice sounds so soft-spoken... like a harp's melody and a relaxing humming of the birds. He is tall and big and yet he has a relaxing aura to him. His name reminds me of the trees near our kingdom called Cypress... I turned my head to the ground and see a potted plant. A succulent of some sort.

"Ooh? What's that plant you have on the ground?" I pointed it to the plant to Cypress's right.

"This is my plant, Eve, she's an Echeveria. A succulent as they call it. I was going to transfer her to one of the plant boxes here but who knew I would see 2 people gathering around the hibiscus bush." He chuckled.

"Eve?" Lawrence asked skeptically.

"Oh. I name all of the plants here. I find them easier to remember when I name them that's all." He softly chuckled.

Lawrence gets closer to me, whispering. "Great... now we found another crazy person that talks to plants as well."

"Shush," I replied to Lawrence in a whisper. "He looks absolutely wholesome so it's not nice to describe him like that. Also, it's not crazy to talk to plants. Plants make better company than you do."

"By the way. How did you even fall down the plant box? It should be nearly impossible to fall in. Like I've been here for years and I've never seen anyone fall into those plant boxes." He asks us, almost letting out a chuckle.

"Oh I'm just that clumsy that's all. You see I've never really seen those big flowers before. So when I tried to take a photo. I must have slipped and landed on the dirt. Ruining my clothes in the process..." I explained to him.

"If you're interested in plants. How about joining the gardening club. We actually... well, I... actually need new members. Since currently, I'm the only member of the club since the other members graduated or some of them dropped out." He offered to me.

OOh! I'll definitely love to join! Give me the form and I'll sign it right away! I honestly wanted to see more plants than in our castle! So that'll be a good opportunity.

"Thanks for the offer but I believe that we can't really join your club as of now. Since my sister is kind of dirty as of now. We'll go ahead and return back to you after we have eaten our lunch and my sister has taken a bath." Lawrence rejected the offer. Dragging me by the arm.

AW POOH! FINE! I GUESS I'LL JUST GO TO HOME FIRST TO WASH AND CLEAN UP!

"Oh right... I guess I'll have to clean up first. Can't really go around covered in dirt." I pouted, making a slight tantrum.

Lawrence turns to look me in the eye. I think he can see me, giving him attitude. Oh my god, what is he gonna do...

"Ehem." He clears his throat. "You can give her your contact details. We will call you when we have the time to meet you when we are going to sign up."

"Oh, sure! Here is my phone number. Just call me when you, young saplings want to sign up for the gardening club." He hands me a piece of paper with his phone number written on it.

"Alright then! Thank you!" I shouted as I was getting dragged by Lawrence to a distance.

We kept walking and walking until we reached the area where no other students are around. I can already tell Lawrence was going to explode from something because his hand grips are getting tighter as we reached the crowd less area.

"That WAS SO HUMILIATING! LIKE REALLY! THOSE PEOPLE WERE LAUGHING AT US!" He squealed in a full-blown embarrassed manner. "YOU REALLY HAD THE NERVE TO START NEGOTIATING AND TALKING TO THAT PERSON WHEN YOU'RE COVERED IN MUD LIKE A PIG. EVERYONE WAS WATCHING US. YOU KNOW!"

"I do admit that it was a bit embarrassing. Although it was fun! I got to meet another person that I can talk to. Isn't that great?" I chirped enthusiastically at Lawrence, who seems to give me a stink eye.

"If you hadn't gone to that bush, you wouldn't have fallen in there and I would already be having my fr- I mean we would be having our lunch you know?" He continued to give me a scowl.

My stomach rumbled... "Ugh... I'm hungry.." I groaned.. as I start to massage my stomach.

"How about I just get the food as taking out. SO we can eat it at the house SO YOU don't like to get smashed or trip or whatever happens to you since you're so clumsy."

"Honestly it was kind of your fault that I fell in the plant box. You kept lifting me up when I told you not to. So don't go blaming this on me. Lawrence." I smirked.

"I SWEAR TO GOD. I AM GOING TO MOVE TO ANOTHER DORM SO YOU CAN GO AHEAD AND HAVE FUN ALL BY YOURSELF." He threatened me.

"HEY WAIT NO! YOU'RE LIKE MY PERSONAL SLAVE WHO DOES ALL THE CLEANING AND CHORES!" I shouted shamelessly.

"Get changed you, moron!" He shouted, sitting down on the grass.

"HEY I'M STILL A PRINCESS YOU KNOW!" I retaliated at him for sitting down. He responded, looking at me with a comical look.

"PRINCESS OF DIRT!" He joked, laughing out loud in the grass terrain. I looked to see at the grassy meadow of the campus. It's so cold here. It's so perfect for outdoor trips and picnics. The sun is shaded by the leaves of the trees. As I scanned the area, I can see a mud pile on the ground near my direction.

"You know what...." I got down on the mud pile and grabbing a piece of it.

"HEY! WHAT AR-"

Without any hesitation, I threw the mud chunk towards Lawrence, the mudball hit him in the shirt as he was unable to dodge due to him being big and tall.

"OH YOU DIRTY! NOW YOU GOT ME DIRTY AS WELL!" He shouted in anger.

"WELL, YOU DID SAY I'M THE PRINCESS OF DIRT. SO WHAT'S A PRINCESS WITHOUT HER DIRT SUBJECTS?" I gave him a mischievous smirk. As I start walking back to the dorm room.

"Time to go to the shower! See you! I'll probably steal all your fries!" I jokingly shouted as I made a run for it.

"HEY! WHEN I REACH YOU. YOU ARE SO GOING TO BE DEAD, PRINCESS! ENOUGH OF THIS FOOLISHNESS!" He shouted, giving me a good chase.
