19 Chapter 19: Girl Beside The Dorm Room

"BOOM SHAKALAKA" I kicked open the door. To see a whole new world present before me. In the distance.. it was colored with green as the trees and the plant boxes were lined up diligently in the area... the faces and the heads of the other students walking to their dorms and classes... it was a sight to see...

"The view here is wonderful! You can see the entire campus in this height." I said to Lawrence who was carrying our stuff before leaving the room.

"Don't kick open the door. Also of course we are going to have a good view. We are literally on the third floor of the dorm building." He says giving me a small lecture.

"But didn't you also do that when you kicked open MY DOOR?" I said to him sarcastically giggling.

"Ughhhh...." He growled. "I don't really have time for your shenanigans princess... let's go to the cafeteria and eat our food." He says, grabbing my arm and starts dragging me down the stairs...

As I was getting dragged by Lawrence who seems to not budge and stop. It's kind of odd that there's no one in the building right now... "Hey... where is everyone... why is no one in the hallways of the dorm house?" I asked him

"Probably because... either some of them haven't arrived yet from their home countries like Meghan who's going to just arrive today or they are already out socializing with a few people..." He explains to me.

I can't help but smile and get a little excited! I'm so excited to meet new people! I wonder what type of person I'm gonna meet and fall in love with! Am I going to meet a bad boy or am I going to get a hot best friend?! THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS...

Lawrence let's go of my arm. "Don't go running off like a child okay. The campus is actually very big. I got lost the first time I tried to get breakfast..."

"You don't need to treat me like a child Lawrence. I am the princess of the kingdom of Aurora after all. I am very capable of taking care of myself." I made a pouty face in front of him. Keeping a distance.

"Barely. You can't even boil water. What makes you think you can run a country." He says to me mockingly.

"That's not a very nice thing to say to a princess... you should respect me..." I made a cheeky look with my face. Lawrence rolled his eyes dismissing me. "If you get experience and prove to me that you're a worthy person to respect then I might as well do it." He spoke with a calm and collected voice.

I sighed and looked around the area... the white marble floors and the black guard rails of the stairs. As much as these things are very simple. I can't help but appreciate them for their beauty.

"We should probably meet up with Meghan when she arrives... what do you think?" I brought up a conversation as we were walking to the second floor.

"I suppose you could. You have your phone, right? You could contact her anything you want if you got her number..."

"OH SHOOT!" I looked down on my feet. "I FORGOT MY PHONE... I actually didn't bring it with me... I wasn't really used to have a phone so it wasn't in my reflex to carry it with me..."

"There's no need for a phone to where we are going anyways... we are just going to dine together in the cafeteria."

"Nonsense! I'll go ahead and grab it from our room! I'll just be right back Lawrence!" I said as I dashed upstairs to our room. I could hear Lawrence screaming at the distance. "NO! COME BACK!" He shouted but I chose to ignore it.

I dashed towards the third floor which was our floor... in the distance...a girl caught my attention... she was staring at the horizon as she lays flat in the guard rails. Oh! Who is that girl?

I got a little closer to the hallway to see the girl a little closer. Moving a bit closer... I noticed that she was positioned close to our room... like she was one room away from our dorm... could it be that she lives in the dorm room next to us?

I reached the distance where I could get a closer look at her. She was... overweight. her body was very fat and thick.... with blonde hair... she was wearing a striped shirt.. as she looked emotionally distressed looking in the horizon... she was holding a pack of some type of pastry.. cookies it was something that I wasn't familiar of, perhaps it was food in her home country, she's gobbling it up pretty fast...

"Are you okay? What's that snack you're eating?" I said reaching out to her with an enthusiastic look to her face. Her eyes fluttered in shock and then she looked in my direction. She pressed her arms in her stomach, making her chest inflate. "Hello... can I help you with something..."

"Oh, nothing really! I just wanted to ask if you were living in the dorm next to us!" I said to her cheerfully. "That snack of yours looks so delicious! Can I try some.."

She hides the snack food behind her. Giving me a suspicious look. The tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife... she licked her lips, cleaning the crumbles of cookies in her lips. "I... please... leave me alone..." She said to me as she starts being teary-eyed.

"Oh.. um.. alright.," I said walking away from her... did I do something wrong to make her angry? Why did she look upset or something? Was I, a bit rude to her by asking to taste her pastry? I should probably just get the phone and get to the cafeteria...

I entered the dorm room and grabbed my phone and when I got out of the hallway again. The girl... she was gone... I guess she went back inside her dorm room... although I wonder... what's up with her... why does she look so upset..
