Ch 36 - The Sensei and Student Meet

"And...!!" I said as I pushed off from that meteor-like object as the credits finally started rolling.

"..." I clapped four times with an interval of about 2 seconds per clap.

"We did it...! WE DID IT! YESSSS!!!" I shouted.

"HOO, DAMN! Man, I've been sitting down for too long." I snickered.

"But anyways, we're done, Privates! We finally got the golden pot!" I said as I played the game once more, and it showed the beautiful piss-colored pot. That beautiful YELLOW SUNSHINE POT!

"Goddamn...that took longer than I expected. It's fucking lunchtime in Japan. That'll be all from me, Privates! Thank you so much for sticking with me till the end! I'm surprised there are still about a thousand of you watching me. I thought you'd all be bored, but hey, it was sort of fun." I giggled.

"Shiro on the mic, Shiro on the beat, Shiro with the heat, everybody, thanks for coming to my stream! Yeah, and you know I got the big dreams. Privates, I'mma see you all in the next stream!" I clapped.

And so, that concluded the Getting Over It stream.

"Phew. Goddamn, I ain't gonna sit down for the rest of the day, I guess…"

And that is an exaggeration. Though, it does tell how long I sat down. It's exactly 12 PM now.

Alright, I guess I'll just cook something quick. Too lazy to go outside-"

I heard three knocks from my door, before hearing "Shiro-kun! I got something for you!". The voice sounded like Kira's. Nonetheless, I went to the door, getting my mask from the hook.

"Yeah?"

He held out a lunchbox that's wrapped in a pink cloth with hearts.

"Here! I saw your stream this morning! When I finally saw that you stopped, I thought it's a good time to finally give this to you!"

"Oh? You made this? Thank you! I will admit, the cloth is rather feminine-"

"It's not from me, it's from a girl named Shiina-san! I think she was your sister...?"

"...Oh, her."

"Un! Take care, by the way! Me and the boys are just gonna eat outside, and some of us are gonna eat in our rooms! You know where to find some of us."

"Mhmm. Thank you very much." I said as I closed the door.

"Huh...Shiina? Well, she is quite a feminine girl, I guess...judging from her appearance."

I set it down at the table and untied the cloth.

"...Oh? A piece of paper? How organized…" I said as I looked at what she wrote.

"When you're done, please return it to me! If you finished before 1 PM, I'm right at the mini-park with Irys! If not though, I can drop by the building so that you don't have to go to my room in the dorms. Have a nice lunch, Shiro-niichan!~<3"

I jumped a bit and blushed.

"S-She gives off the same embarrassment vibes as my mom...that heart sorta goes over the line, don't ya think?" I groaned.

"Anyway...Itadakimasu." I said as I grabbed the chopsticks that went with the lunchbox and I opened it.

"Ooh...boiled egg, some vegetables, and fish…" I said as I took a piece of the fish, and got some rice.

"Mmm...man, I hope the man who can steal her heart will have her as a wife. That fish was hella good."

Like please...I can't marry my sister. Despite being my half-sister, it's incest. SOMEBODY HELP ME! Q-Q. But jokes aside, she does cook well. Especially the rice…Mmm, I'm a Japanese bitch alright.

"Thank you for the food." I said as I put the chopsticks back, with the cloth tied back. It wasn't the same way, but I made sure to tie it back like it should.

I grabbed my mask, put a hoodie on, and pants on. I then took the lunchbox and searched for my half-sister with the peculiar hair color.

"Oh? There's Shiina…" I said as I started walking towards her.

"...Oh! There's Shiro-niichan!" She said as she put her chopsticks above her bento box and waved at me.

I put my left hand up once and let it down afterwards.

"Good afternoon." I said in Japanese while sitting down near Shiina.

"Un! Good afternoon, Shiro-niichan! Was my bento tasty?" She replied in Japanese.

"Sure was. Here. You know, you make really good food."

"I do? You think I could make a good wife?~" She said as she smugged and got close to me.

"Err...yeah. Your cooking skills are amazing." I sweat dropped and scooched a bit away to maintain our distance.

"Oh, by the way, my teacher said that, since my dancing skills are so versatile, I can work with her as an assistant!"

"Oh really?"

"Yeah! She said I can try skipping dance lessons like the others do, and try to dance along with her so that I can help her in teaching. Though, I am still practicing vocal lessons. Actually, did you know IRyS is very good at singing, she can skip vocal lessons like I skip dance lessons?"

"Oh? IRyS, you have my praise." I chuckled.

"R-Really? You didn't have to, Shiro-senpai! I'm just regular at singing!"

"Did you know she went under the name 'Nami-sannn', and sang that Renai Circulation song? The one with 100 million views?!" She said with sparkling eyes.

"H-Hey! Stop it, it's embarrassing!" Irys said in English.

"Oh, c'mon! Be proud of that!" Shiina replied in English while pouting.

"Oh? YOU were the one who sang it?"

"Er...sorta?" She giggled nervously.

"Heh. You not only have my praise. I guess I gotta treat you like a goddess, huh? What can be a good way of praising you?"

"H-Hey! Shiro-senpai...!" She groaned and blushed.

"Hahaha! I'm just joking. But to think you were the one who sang it...you tried auditioning for Hololive?"

"Mhmm! I did! Hopefully I get accepted!"

"Mhmm. Especially when you have such an amazing voice that got you a hundred million views, while I'm stuck here with, at most, 5 million views."

"S-Shiro-senpai!" She blushed more and pouted.

"Oh, woe is me.~ I can't believe a future kouhai is better than her senpai. How embarrassing of me! I should be ashamed of myself!~" I said as I shook my body left and right.

"SHIRO-SENPAI, STOOOPPP!!" She said as she blushed as red as a tomato and steam went out of her head.

"Kwahaha! Alright, I'll stop the teasing." I said and stood up.

"You two take care. I'mma go back to the Holohouse." I put my left hand up as I faced my back towards them, before lowering my left hand back down.

"Hey, Shiro-niichan, before you go...!"

"Hmm?"

"This evening, mind coming with me to meet my family?"

"Oh? Ah, Alex-sensei is your father, right? It's been a long time since I've seen him and Aunt Millia."

"Mmm! They're very excited to see you!"

"Yeah...me too." I chuckled.

"Oh? Alex-sensei?" Irys asked both of us.

"From the stories my father told me, he was the one who not only taught him Tagalog, the Filipino language, but also taught him how to fight."

"Ah! Wait, fight?!" She said with wide eyes.

"Yeah. I think, at that time, Shiro-niichan was a Sergeant first class? From what he said?"

"A SERGEA-" I cut Irys off.

"SHH!" I said as I put a finger on my mask.

"S-Sorry...but…"

"Yeah...I'm the real deal. Oh, and also…"

"Oh?" They both said.

"...AGH!" Shiina shouted as I flicked her forehead, and she covered it with both of her hands.

"Don't just go around and casually say my past occupation in public. That's bad manners."

"S-Sorry!" She said as her eyes were like arrows pointing at each other.

"Anyway, just to not leave some confusion, Irys, yes, I was a real soldier before. I would show you my ID and dogtag, but fuck that, I ain't trusting you with this yet. I'm retired now though, so I just live off of my retirement money and streaming."

"Eh...? That's cool!" She said with a wide smile.

"...I guess." I chuckled.

"Alright, I'll be seeing you two later. Oh, and by the way, Shiina. What time will we eat dinner at Alex-sensei's house?"

"Oh? Around 6 PM, they start cooking...You can wait, but if you don't, then you can ride with me at 6:30 PM."

"Well...guess I'll be freeing my time for 6 PM."

Damn, thinking of the Philippines makes me want to listen to some Filipino rap right now. I guess some PSYCHEDELIC BOYZ can get me into the vibe.

And what do you know? Just a minute after I got back to my room...

"BATANG PASAWAY! AT…LAHAT SASABAY! (ROWDY ASS CHILD! AND...EVERYBODY GOES TOGETHER!"

"HANGGANG MAMATAY, RAWSTARR! DADALHIN KO HANGGANG MAMATAY, UH! (UNTIL THE DAY I DIE, RAWSTARR! I'LL BRING THIS WITH ME TILL I DIE, UH!)"

I headbanged my head like hell as if there was no tomorrow. Of course, not too much though, 'cause my neck might hurt a lot after I'm done...and yes, I experienced this a few times before. Shut up, rock music was banging.

So, I just killed time, made beats, and also tried practicing some Tagalog in my head since it's been quite long since I used it, even though I spoke with Shiina recently with it, and once it reached around 6 PM, I dressed up, put some cologne on, and went out.

There were a good amount of girls in the lounge, and only Aruran and Astel in the lounge.

"Ooh, damn! You going on a date with one of the girls tonight, Shiro-kun?" Aruran said.

"Oh? Well, I am going out with a girl." I said.

"Eh? I don't think I saw you doing anything with any hololive member today." Astel said.

"That's because I'm going out with one of the students."

"HAH?!" Everybody said as they widened their eyes and dropped their jaws.

"Shiro-niichan! What's the meaning of this!" Rushia slammed the table hard.

"Wait, what?! A student with a Hololive member?!" Reine said.

"Eh?! I never saw you interacting much with any of the students!" Roboco said.

"A WHAT NOW?!" Mel said.

"Eh?! What're you gonna do?!" Subaru said.

"EH?! A DATE THIS EVENING?!" Miko shouted.

"DAMN, WHO THE HELL'RE YOU DATING?!" Astel said as he grabbed my wrist.

"Oh? It's not a date."

"Oh? It isn't?" They all said.

"I'm just gonna meet her parents."

"...HER PARENTS?!" They all said as the girls fainted while Astel and Aruran just dropped their jaw so hard, it penetrated through the earth's crust.

"...I can't believe our dear kouhai is growing up quickly." Astel shed a tear as he put his hand on my shoulder, making my eye twitch.

"Good luck, bro...invite me to your wedding afterwards!" Aruran teared up too as he put his hand over my other shoulder, and I got a tick on my head.

"Y'ALL ARE DAMN NOISYYYYYYYY!!!" I said as Astel and Aruran got launched back towards the couches.

"I'm just gonna meet my damn sister's parents! Fucking hell!" I shouted.

"...Oh? Sister?" They all said.

"Shiina-san?" Matsuri said.

"Yeah."

"Wait...why are you meeting her parents? …OH FUCK, DON'T TELL ME YOU'RE-" Astel said.

"I'M NOT COMMITTING INCEST, YOU IDIOT!" I shouted.

"Sigh...you see, the only thing you gotta know is that her father is actually my sensei."

"Oh? Sensei?" They said.

"Why the hell you think I saved your ass that time, Matsuri? You think I'm some sort of anime protagonist that was given martial art skills or some shit?"

"Ooh, you're not self-taught, huh?" She said.

"Yeah...anyway, I can't keep her waiting. I'll see y'all later!" I said as I raised my left hand before letting it fall down as I went out the Holohouse.

"Bye!" They all said.

And so, I saw my sister sitting at a bench around the school campus where we agreed to meet up.

"Hey." I said.

"Hey!" She said as she stood up.

"You look rather pretty, heh."

"I do? Thanks! I tried my best to look good. Do I look strange anywhere?"

"Nah. Your hair is tied correctly, your dress looks neat, and you act very lady-like. I like it."

"Thank you! Hey...don't you think we look like a couple?~" She said as she hugged my arm.

"Eh? Er...no, I'm pretty sure we just look like siblings." I blushed and sweat dropped.

"Hmph! I say we look like it!"

"And I say we don't." I said while flicking her forehead again.

"OUCH! HEY, THAT HURTS!"

"And I don't care. Lead the way." I deadpanned.

"Sob...you're mean, Shiro-niichan...sob."

But so we did. I offered to pay for the fare of the taxi, but damn, I just had to give up to a woman because if I did, we would've dragged that argument for more than 10 seconds which would then lead to a 5 minute argument.

"So, how's Alex-sensei and Aunt Millia?" I asked.

"They're fine! You know, my dad always told me about you. Wanna hear about the first time I heard about you?"

"Eh? Hit me."

"Well...it started back when I was in Grade 8. You know, up until the point I discovered you, I was a HUGE tomboy."

"Really? How so?"

"Well...sort of to the point where I wished I was actually a boy. I was a huge lesbian." She giggled nervously and scratched her cheek.

'H-How the fuck does a very feminine and cute girl like this that has a big brother complex have a history of being a lesbian?' I deadpanned and sweat dropped.

"You see...I heard about your trust issues against women...but unlike you who uses a cover up of being 'misogynistic' to let women get away from you, I actually hated men. I'm what you would call a 'misandrist'."

"Oh? Strong prejudice against men. I get it." I chuckled.

"Yeah...I used to be bullied when I was in kinder...the boys said my hair looked really ugly, which…maybe they're right, but they should've known not to make fun of somebody's appearance…" She giggled a bit.

'...Alright, if I ever go back to the Philippines, I will beat the shit out of the ones that made her cry.' I thought as rage filled my mind and my internal self put his fist up as he growled like a lion.

"Well...so you know how I became a misandrist. When I was Grade 7, I finally found a girl I liked...so I tried to shoot my shot, and...miraculously, we got together."

"Oh? So you really were a lesbian, huh?"

"Yeah...boys bullying me a lot lead to me hating them and wanting to love girls instead...I loved my ex so much, I'd go to her house every weekend, and we'd hang out. We...even exchanged kisses."

"I see…"

"However...she cheated on me after exactly 1 year. EXACTLY 1 year after we got together!"

"Oh? With who?"

"...W-With a guy." She frowned and looked away.

"Huh...a bisexual Filipina, huh? Sorry to hear that."

"Yeah...but so, as any normal teenager, I was angry, sad, and...very depressed. For 3 straight days, I wasn't able to dance properly, pay attention to class properly. I wasn't even able to eat and drink properly, nor was I able to stick on Facebook and Messenger as often...but then, came that day. The day my dad told me to sit down with him alone while my mom was out buying groceries."

"Oh? And that was when he told you about me?"

"Yeah! He told me I had a real biological half-brother. He said that he's been secretly calling your mom as they both talked in pride about the two of us. Talking about what we did, our hobbies, favorite food, and hypothetical situations if we were to ever meet...and when I saw you, and I saw some videos, and especially your past persona, White T...I felt what I felt back when I had my girlfriend."

"I was in love...my heart skipped a beat, and my depression felt like a big blue sea that just got halved by Moses. I felt happiness...warmth...and affection." She continued.

I chuckled.

"Interesting...I'm sort of happy to know you got out of depression." I replied.

"Yeah! And so...at first, I denied my feelings. I was a strong 'misandrist', after all. I thought 'I'll never fall for my brother! Not only is he a man, but he's also my half-brother! It'd be breaking my beliefs!', and uh...you sort of know that it's taboo for siblings to love each other that way."

"Yeah…"

"However...as time passed by, I got so into searching up what you've been doing. Songs, friends, you name it…"

"And timeskip to now, and uh...I grew my hair, learned feminine mannerisms again, and even forced my voice to be higher pitched, which is my current voice now. I also started buying clothes for women, instead of the usual tomboy clothing." She giggled.

"I see...you've done well, honestly. I never would've expected a girl like you to be a lesbian before."

"Mhmm. I'm bisexual now, but...I've been thinking about you ever since then, so I don't know if I'll ever fall for another, especially if it's a man." She said as she put a finger on her mouth while thinking.

"Well...just know that I can't reciprocate it, Shiina." I said.

"Yeah...but it won't change how I feel, Shiro-niichan."

"I know...oh, and Shiina?"

"Hmm?" She said as we looked each other in the eye.

"...Your hair isn't ugly."

"Eh? Really?"

"Mhmm...it's eccentric...but beautiful...the premium white hair and the darkest of blacks mixing together, and especially how you've grown it to shoulder-length...you've grown into a fine woman." I chuckled.

She widened her eyes and looked at the window as she played with her fingers.

"...T-Thank you...I rarely get that from men back when I was in the Philippines…" She said.

"Well...glad to double down on those compliments." I chuckled again.

"Y-Yeah…" She giggled a bit.

We finally arrived at the apartment, and went up.

"Damn...I'm nervous." I said.

"Been a long time since you met him?"

"Yeah...I wonder what he looks like now, along with Aunt Millia." I said.

"Mmm! Well, despite looking old, he's still rather active, and my mom still looks young. Of course, you can tell she's old, but she still looks somewhat young." She said.

She finally knocked on the door three times.

"Dad! It's me!" Shiina said.

"Ah, Shiina! You're finally here!" I heard Aunt Millia's voice through the door.

I opened the door to see a fancy well-lit room with some good furniture. It was simplistic, but felt very welcoming.

"It's great to see you again!" Aunt Millia said in Tagalog as she hugged Shiina.

"Yeah!" Shiina replied back in the same language while hugging back.

"Ah, Shiro! It's been a long time!" Aunt Millia brought me a bit lower as I kneeled a bit and she kissed my cheek.

"Ehehe...this is too embarrassing, Aunt Millia...!" I said while groaning a bit.

"Oh, c'mon! It really has been a long time! You've grown so big! I remember you were just a few inches taller than me, now you make every girl look up to you like a giant!" She laughed.

"Hehe...oh yeah, I gotta bless." I said as I grabbed her right hand.

"Ah yes! God bless!" She said as I put her right hand's fingers against my forehead. It's a Philippine tradition that shows respect for elders.

"Where's Alex-sensei?"

"Oh, he's over here in the living room!- Alex, come here!" She said.

"Hey, Shiro!" He said.

"Eyy…"

'Yeah, this is gonna be a pain in the ass.' I thought as I readied for our "usual" greeting.

"It's been a long time, Shiro...!!" He said as he went in to punch my face before I blocked it.

"E-E-Eh?!" Shiina said.

"Sigh...Do you two really have to do it EVERYTIME you meet?" Millia deadpanned.

"Yup." We both replied.

"Can't let this guy get rusty in fighting!" Alex-sensei said.

"Can't let myself get rusty in fighting!" I said.

He grabbed my left wrist after getting blocked with my left hand, twisting it in a circle motion, but I quickly contracted it to cancel the motion, leading to my left elbow going towards his face.

He put right arm on his right face while contracting it, blocking my left elbow, and then tried to use his left hand to punch my stomach.

I parried by using my right hand to grab his wrist, barely missing the left side of my stomach while also stepping back.

He lastly used his right arm and went for my stomach once more, before grabbing his fist with my left hand entirely.

It ended with us in a stalemate as we tried to get our fists across to no avail.

"Heh. You haven't lost your touch, Shiro." He said as he relaxed, which also made me relax in turn.

"I may have retired from the military, but that doesn't mean I don't remember how to survive."

"Well, I'm an old man, but I still remember how to fight. Surely you'd do the same." He laughed.

"Come here. Bring Shiina to the living room and let's talk for a while." He said.

"Mhmm." I said.

He sat across the table, facing me and Shiina in the living room.

"Sorry to surprise you, Shiina. This is a usual thing me and Shiro do. 'Expect the unexpected', they say." Alex-sensei said.

"Y-Yeah...I was scared for a moment, but if you two just do it with no ill intent, then I guess I'm okay…" She giggled nervously.

"Yeah. To be honest, you've gotten stronger. Your grip strength has gotten to the point where you could probably crush a watermelon." He giggled.

"Well, I do try to stay fit. An officer does sit through the whole day most of the time, so I gotta keep myself fit."

"Yeah...You know, it's been a while since we played Salpakan (Game of the Generals). Wanna play it after dinner and talk for a while with your sensei?"

"Don't need to ask me twice. It's been a long time since I played a board game." I chuckled.

"Aunt Millia, is dinner almost ready?" I asked.

"Yup! We're having Caldereta (Goat meat stew [except she used pork]), Fried egg, and cabbage and eggplant."

"Ooh, Caldereta, ey? Been a while since I ate that. Are there ribs inside it?"

"Of course!"

"Sweeet!" I giggled.

"While waiting, tell me all about your experience here before Shiina came along. You know...starting from when you left the Philippines to go back to Japan, up to when Shiina introduced herself?"

"Oh? Well…" I said as I told him a quick summary of what happened, even when it was already dinnertime.

Back when I left the Philippines a few days after I broke up with my ex, we went back to Japan, and, being the usual soldier, I just did operations and did my usual rapping job. I also had to learn some Russian in advance for an operation in Russia in the form of a 'vacation'.

Cut to when I became an officer and lost my best friend and brother-in-arms soon enough, Subaru Levisay, I went into a huge depressive slump. I would be able to eat, but I wasn't as energetic in doing anything. Not even exercising. Hell, I even skipped a few days and just played games all day.

I didn't improve my craft in rap, I wasn't focusing right when I was doing paperwork and doing orders, I always stayed inside the house as much as possible, and most of all, I even thought of committing suicide...it was quite a depressive state.

Though, when me and my mom talked it out, I remembered one of the beliefs that Subaru had always held in his whole life.

"Focus on the present. The past is way behind us now." Those words, although simple, and maybe even has some sort of cold undertone, his words were true.

I was depressed the whole time, thinking of the times when me and him hung out together, not caring about anything except our own work and the lives of many innocent people, when I really should be looking forward into the future and go on without him. As much as I loved him, it's not like I could do anything to bring him back. Besides, he was only just a part of me. He will be forever in my heart, but I needed to get back into motion and continue on with my life.

I did change the part where I was betrayed by my mom. Instead, I lied about it and said that I just thought I served enough years in the military and would like to focus on other things in life. I then finally worked under Tanigo, who was acquainted with Alex-sensei, and work under a company where I give entertainment, and especially music.

"Huh...that was quite a journey, huh?" Alex-sensei said as he looked at me and Shiina wash the dishes. Me taking care of washing, while Shiina took care of drying.

"Yeah...you know, I was surprised 'cause my mom never told me about my sister."

"Well...back when me and her talked in private, let's just say I got too excited and just HAD to tell her."

"Hahaha...guess you really were eager."

"Yeah...but hey, you two got along better than I thought."

"Well, if she's my sister, then I gotta treat her like family, no matter the bond."

"Mhmm."

And so, we finished washing the dishes, and Shiina and Aunt Millia talked about me and especially the Hololivers, my workmates and mostly my friends, while Alex-sensei and I played one match of Salpakan.

"So...you're finally retired from the military, huh?"

"Yep. It was like...just a week after I became a General. I think it was November 4 in 2020?"

"Such a waste though...that's not an easy position to achieve, you know?"

"Yep. But...c'est la vie (such is life), Alex-sensei."

"You do know you can call me Sir Alex, right? We're talking in Tagalog." He giggled.

"I know...it's just a habit." I chuckled.

"Anyway...how've you been? Have you been earning enough money?"

"Yup. A rapper's life is only rich as long as he's still rapping. No retirement money unlike the military. Though, I'd say I'm financially stable."

"That's good...you know, have you made friends outside of the military?"

"Ah yeah...I've made a couple friends...you know, a couple men...a couple women…"

"Have you found yourself a girlfriend yet?"

I widened my eyes as I left my hand hanging in the air as I grabbed my spy piece.

"...No."

"Do you have a crush?"

"...Well, I don't know. I like her? Then I don't. But I also do? It's complicated."

"Ah...you're still trying to get to know her. I know that feeling. Don't worry, it takes time...say, how's your scar on your mouth? You showed it to us during dinner, and it seems it's getting better. Though, you didn't tell us if it still hurts."

"Well...the pain is sorta there if you touch hard enough. It's bearable now and it's not like before, but...it's still healing." I chuckled.

"I see...and did you stay consistent with your exercise routine?"

"Mhmm. Although my schedule as a streamer somewhat involves me staying up at night, I am trying to keep it consistent as much as possible."

"Well, it's not really new to you, is it?"

"From my training and operations? Definitely not."

We both giggled and continued playing.

It ended with me winning, and me and Shiina finally had to go back to the school.

"It was very nice meeting you two again. I was wondering how you all were."

"Yeah, it was nice seeing my student still kicking and is living life!" Alex-sensei said.

"It's also good that you two are getting along well! Take care, okay?" Aunt Millia said.

"Yeah, yeah. Don't worry, mom." Shiina giggled.

"And don't worry. I'll take good care of her. You can count on me, sensei!" I said.

Me and Shiina finally took a taxi, and I was just thinking of my life, then thought of Shiina's life. Putting the pieces together, and thinking about how different yet similar her life was to mine. A soldier and a civilian, yet we lived similar lives…

I looked at her as she leaned on my arm while closing her eyes. Maybe taking a short nap.

"Poor you...you were lost and angry, and it was thanks to me that you got back on track…You're strong and brave, Shiina." I mumbled as I patted her with my left hand and chuckled.

I guess having a little sister isn't too bad...especially if she just needs a bit of guidance and love from her brother.

'We may not be together all the time, but hopefully I can be the big brother you take me for.' I thought.

We finally arrived, and me and Shiina finally arrived near the Holohouse.

"Take care, Shiina, okay?"

"Mhmm! You too!" She said as me and her finally parted ways as I got inside the Holohouse.

I finally got back inside my room, and turned my PC on as I sighed.

"Alright, I guess I'll just go to Twitter for a bit and maybe mix and refine the music for me and Aki's…"

And so I did. In the middle of it though, I got a sudden Discord call.

"Oh? Matsuri?"

'...And she used the same tactic as Marine. Send a message and call. Interesting.' I thought and sweat dropped as I accepted the call.

"Hello, Matsuri?"

"Can you hear me?" She asked.

"Loud and clear. Wassup?"

"So uh...how was your date?"

"...It's not a date. You mean how was the meetup with my sister's family?"

"Ah yes, that! Sorry." She giggled a bit.

"Well...it went well. I was really happy to see both of them."

"I see...um...say, have you been getting along with her well?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Um...you see. I'll just be honest, I've taken interest in her. J-Just as a friend. I'm...wondering if you could maybe let me get along with her? You know, like help being a middle-man of some sort?"

"Ah, well...we'll see. Just know we can't do that until afternoon since it's Monday tomorrow."

"Yup! Thank you in advance, Shiro-kun! Oh, and have a nice night!"

"Yup, you too." I said as we ended the call.

"Huh...her getting close to Shiina might be a bit hard...but hey, I bet this'll go fine."

It's just a plain meet-up after all.

SQUAREY BOISSSSS!!! SHIINA AND SHIRO DID A BIT MORE BONDINGGGG!!!! Oh, and how was the meet-up between Shiro and Alex-sensei? Weird greetings, right? (Men, am I right...? Oh wait, I'm a man too-)

And yaes, the fruitful relationship development between Shiro x Matsuri finally begins at the next chapter (after Plantsing for a good while [But then again, I'm a plantser the whole way LMAO-])

That'll be all from Cube QB, squarey bois! See y'all in the next chapter!~<3

(...God, that heart is cringe as hell KEKW-)
