125 Last Hug, Goodbye Forever...

Ford thought she would be happy.

He hadn't coaxed people before, and he never needed.

Therefore, when Julia first said that she wanted a divorce, he only felt that she was in a bad mood.

He knew very well that Julia had fallen in love with him since the first time she met him. The 16—year—old girl's eyes were too bright and clear, and she could not hide her feelings at all.

So, how could all these years of love suddenly disappear?

He was arrogant as always, not believing at all.

He was more willing to believe that Julia loved him and she just wanted more.

In their marriage, he was like a bystander, wantonly enjoying Julia's love, all of which made him feel at ease.

When he first got married, he was fully immersed in his work. Because of his age, some old—school shareholders in the company deliberately got in his way. It took him nearly a year to bring down a few old—school shareholders and gain full control of the Ainsworth Group.

Those old shareholders who fed on the company and kept seeking personal gain were forced to retire. However, they were no longer gentle and refined after retirement. They came to the company and acted up unreasonably in front of the employees and scolded him.

During that time, Ford was undoubtedly anxious.

He couldn't even remember when Julia stopped looking for him and didn't make any noise.

Now that everything was settled, he could spare more time to take care of her, but she chose to say goodbye at a time when everything was better.

Ford couldn't figure it out, nor could he understand it.

"You said that our marriage was a load weighing on your heart. You wanted a relief." He said calmly, looking down at her. "So, I agreed. But I didn't mean it that way."

The decision to divorce was actually very hard for him.

However, this time, he wanted to lower his head and make her happy.

Ford stretched out his hand and said softly, "I have never done something like this before, but now I will try to do it."

His fingers were very beautiful and slender, and under his cold white skin, there were faintly flowing green veins.

In the past, she felt that how could a person even have such sexy fingers!

But now, in her eyes, it was just a hand.

At most, it was more exquisite than other people's hands, and its fingernails were neatly trimmed.

She didn't know when her infatuation disappeared or was it's just hidden deep down somewhere.

"How about considering me as dead?" She suggested very seriously. As if she was dealing a business.

Ford was stunned.

Julia then continued, "If it makes you feel better."

She couldn't accept all of these things that just happened.

What an outdated love story!

Why does it have so many connections with her, an insignificant role?

Couldn't she live a carefree life without any interferences?

Ford frowned, and was deep in his thought with his beautiful eyes. "Do you know what you're talking about?" He asked coldly.

Julia didn't expect Ford to be so stubborn this time. She couldn't understand him right at this moment.

From the moment they signed the divorce agreement, there was no chance of a rapprochement, and neither the wedding photos nor the start of a new marriage were a blessing to her.

Ending their hopeless marriage early was a relief for both parties.

Ford was like a poppy to her, poisonous and harmful. She could not allow herself to indulge in it again.

She used her entire courage to let go, afraid that she would fall into the abyss again. Worrying about gains and losses like before made her lose herself.

After so many years of blindness, it was enough.

Time is up.

"Ford, it's been six years." She sighed, "Being someone else is too tiring. I just want to be myself."

As she finished speaking, she reached out and pulled off the veil. Because of her overexerting, she even tore down Some of her hair. But she bit her lower lip and endured the pain.

The bun that had just been tied loosened, against her bright red lips that had been bitten, formed a gorgeous contrast, and gave her a kind of messy beauty that was free from the secular world.

"Thank you. It was you who made me have a beautiful dream." She raised her head and looked at him with a clear gaze. "I waited for you. It was you who came late. You missed me, then it's your fault. So just stop, we already have nothing to do with each other anymore."

She was polite and alienated, like a perfect stranger.

The moment she resisted crying, she could be considered to have truly grown up.

When you love someone seriously, you will know that love and hate always go hand in hand. No matter what torment they gave you back then, when you look back, you will still be grateful to meet them.

Ford frowned, and an undetectable pain tortured his chest.

Things went wrong.

None of this was right.

Julia did not look at him anymore, but quietly went into the dressing room to change back into her clothes.

When she came out, she put the wedding dress neatly and smiled. "Here are the dress. I'm leaving now."

And then, Julia walked towards the door and passed by him. Ford suddenly reached out and pulled her, saying, "Don't go."

This man was truly too good—looking. Starting at him with deep feeling in his eyes, people might take pity on him for no reason at all.

Julia took a deep breath and withdrew her hand to give him a gentle hug. Some of her fine hair landed on Ford's neck, carrying a gentle yet somewhat oppressive feeling.

"I have love you, but you don't have to love me back just because I did so." Her voice was resolute, and she added, " Perhaps, If you want to love me, then love me by your own choice and not the reason that I asked you."

"Because that's what I deserve."

But unfortunately, it's too late for him to please her now. Too late to acknowledge her love, she had given up, the moment that day she woke up.

Her calm and indifferent words hit him hard right through his chest. Like a lightning that struck straight to his prideful thick ego.

"Goodbye Ford." Her voice was firm and determined, showing no sign of retreat. "Forever."

Julia couldn't help but feel the pain in her heart. She don't want to endure this kind of torturous feeling again.

Sometimes, she wanted too much, and she couldn't let go of it, so she struggled with all sorts of things.

However, Julia wanted to live a better life now.

Without any cares on her mind, she would no longer feel tired.

The door was gently closed, and she left.

Disappeared from his sight.

Disappeared from his life.

Ford did not stop her and stood there quietly, his delicate face was mixed with heartache and gloomy.

After a while, he walked to another room. A man on the sofa crossed his legs and laughed wildly and openly.

"Was that Julia who just walked out?"

The man's hair was self—curling, with a short ponytail tied at the back. A few curves of hair fell from both sides of his forehead. And a pair of pretty eyes were seductive, making him look very beautiful.

He smiled and teased, "She's really beautiful. She looks far more beautiful than on TV. No wonder Ford my friend, who had no desire for love, is tempted by her."

After a long time silence, Jack could tell that something was wrong and asked, "Why did you quarrel?"

Since the two of them had a life—long friendship, Ford dropped his guard and said with a frown, "She doesn't want it."

He had carefully planned for such a long time, and the surprise he wanted to give her was simply refused by her.

"What?" Jack asked in puzzled.

Ford picked up the wine on the table and took a sip. Then he frowned and said, "I don't know what she's messing around."

"Messing around?"

"Otherwise?" The corner of Ford's mouth curled into a faint mocking smile.

Jack raised his eyebrows and said frivolously, "Does she have someone else?"

"Impossible." Ford said decisively and coldly, "She's mine."

He pursed the corners of his lips. Julia's words just now reminded him that karma was punishing him.

If he had decisively rejected Julia's confession, perhaps she would have given up long ago.

But he didn't.

He consumed her affection, neither responding nor rejecting, enjoying the process of being chased.

In fact, he was nothing but a hypocrite.
