80 Chapter 80: Mark's Illness

The sunshine in the early morning was just right, hazy and bright, yet not too dazzling.

Andrew continued to focus on the monitor. Julia's performance within the shot was very good, so he didn't need to worry about it.

The only thing he didn't like was that he had chosen the wrong person, that scum Jimmy, who sneaked in and damaged her reputation.

He pinched his nose irritably. Suddenly, a charming voice sounded beside him.

"Director, are you unhappy?" A warm breath went close to his ear, and an attractive fragrance mixed with moisture reached him.

He tilted his head and glanced indifferently. Lily had already stood beside him. She wore a red dress and a black leather coat. She was wantonly showing off.

She looked at Andrew's unhappy expression and felt much more comfortable in her heart. In any case, she could not bear to see his calm and indifferent expression mixed with a kind of unique decadence and aloofness to everything and everyone.

She wanted to see his calm self—restraint torn to shreds with bad intentions.

However, it seemed she had to work harder.

"Director, do you miss me?" Lily bent her lips, stared at his tightly pursed lips and said in a charming tone.

Andrew's thin lips moved, "Lily, you and I are not in that kind of relationship. You should respect yourself."

"Which kind do you think?" Lily laughed, "Isn't it okay to be your friend?"

Andrew looked over and said indifferently, "We are not friends."

Lily was speechless.

"Coincidentally, I also don't want to be friends with you." Lily's fingertips accidentally scratched her lips. She looked at him from his sexy Adam's apple to his thin lips, and then remembered that night when he pushed her away with his cool palms and left her a burning sensation.

"I wanna be your woman."

"...."

After Lily finished speaking, she left without seeing Andrew's reaction.

She was extremely carefree.

Lily scanned her Twitter when Julia was acting. There is a lot of news emerging in the entertainment industry every day. Basically, today's hot topics would be out of sight tomorrow.

The popularity of Jimmy's incident should have gone down, but unexpectedly, this topic drew people's attention once again. Because he liked a tweet posted by an account with a million followers.

——Julia is so frivolous. She tries to flatter whoever gains popularity, but unfortunately, no one accept her.

His like was a confirmation of the netizens' speculation. The netizens immediately started a new round of discussion to diss Julia.

Lily was so angry that her teeth hurt. She saw Julia walking over to rest and said angrily.

"The little bastard Jimmy has so many tricks. He has stirred the topic up again. I really want to kill him! What a cheap sissy!"

Julia glanced at her and smiled, "You are so dedicated. You rushed over without stopping."

Lily's eyes drifted in the direction of the monitor and her bright red lips twitched. "Hormones attract me here."

"....."

She then continued, "Jimmy is a bitch! I just posted a statement and the lawyer's letter to warn them! Who dares to discredit you!"

Julia rubbed her neck and said with a tired expression, "Don't bother."

To put it bluntly, the lawyer's letter just functioned as a deterrent, which could only frighten these cowardice, and those experienced rumor mongers were not afraid at all.

Because prosecution is a very troublesome matter, and it takes a long time. By the time the judgement is made, this matter will have been forgotten by the public.

Therefore, little—known studios like theirs would simply send out a warning letter and frighten the rumor mongers, but they wouldn't really sue them.

Sure enough, when Lily's lawyer sent out a letter, the rumor mongers online was fearless and made a mockery again.

——This letter may be bought from amazon.com am I right?

——This is the 66th lawyer's letter your father has received this year. What a lucky number."

——Come and sue me as soon as possible, you son of a bitch.

Lily was so angry that she wanted to smash her phone. She scolded, "These sons of bitches, they think that I really don't dare to sue them. I can't take it anymore!"

Julia wasn't so affected. After all, she had been discredited too many times and had already become undisturbed either by disgrace or honor.

"It's like the wolf story. It will be useless to send out too many lawyer's letters. The more you respond to some people, the more they bite you and refuse to let go. It's better to ignore them."

Lily was not convinced, so she hurriedly went back to the hotel to collect the materials. This time she must sue them.

She would never let them off easily like last time.

Mark did not have much to shoot for this morning. He took the drink bought by his assistant and walked to the temporary resting area.

From afar, he could see Julia sitting on the reclining chair and chatting with Andrew. She was wearing a white school uniform with a gray pleated skirt, and her jade white shins were exposed in the autumn breeze.

The sun gently shone on her little ankle, which stretched out of the shed. A staff member came over and called Andrew away. Julia continued to look down at the script.

Mark walked over quietly. Because she lowered her head, a small patch of pure white skin behind the girl's earlobes was exposed to the air. Her blood flow through green veins could been seen faintly under the soft white skin.

Suddenly, Mark felt a buzzing pain in his mind. He clenched his palm tightly with his fingers, his joints turning pale white, half of his face in the shadows. There was a delusion in his inner heart that grew wildly and made his blood pumping restlessly wanted to swallow up his remaining rationality.

The youth's fingertips emitted a faint aura. Julia raised her eyes. Because of the sunlight, she narrowed her eyes slightly, "Mark?"

The handsome youth slowly stood up and took a few steps back to block the sunlight. He gazed at her directly.

After a short pause, he smiled shyly like a kind and innocent big boy. Then, he handed over the fresh juice and said, "Sister, this is for you."

He spoke clearly, neither too fast nor too slowly, as if they were discussing the weather today. He was very calm.

Julia instantly got rid of the strange feeling that had just come over her. She took the juice from him and expressed her thanks.

"Sister, come on! I'll go back to the hotel first." Mark encouraged her and walked back without any difference.

Mark got into the luxurious business car and sat on the black leather seat. He slowly raised his fingertips and fell into some strange contemplation.

After a pause, he asked, "Are you ready?"

Beside him was his butler. The middle—aged man in his thirties was very steady, and he answered with extreme caution, "Alright, but...."

This butler had been arranged specially to take care of Mark by old Lewis, so he thought Mark would not treat him rudely and casually.

Few people knew about Mark's mania. He was sent abroad at the age of fourteen to treat his illness.

To put it bluntly, the butler was arranged here to exert the necessary suppression on him because his father knew exactly his temperament.

The butler moved his lips to relieve the tension in his nerves and comforted him, "Why don't you think of another way? If you are hurt, your father will get angry."

Hearing this, Mark smiled, his eyebrows curved and his fingers hooked, "Come here."

The butler was stunned. He was not fooled by this handsome and harmless smile. He knew that the cruelty hidden behind this innocent appearance was unbearable for ordinary people.
