25 Chapter 25: I'm Not Ready Yet

"Can you get up?" Ford asked.

Julia still hated him for laughing at her, and gritted her teeth then said, "Yes."

She completely forgot that she had sprained her ankle and stood up trembling by supporting the seat. A burst of heart—wrenching pain made her frown.

She shook lightly and fell down again!

This time, her entire body was completely hanging on the man's body.

"Ahhhhhh----...!"

She cried out in fright.

However, her voice was more like a weak 'meow'.

The ambiguity index instantly escalated. The two bodies closed tightly and her face was buried in the man's neck, which made her all get blushed.

'Oh God!

'Just let her die.'

This wasn't her!

"Hmmm?" He was faintly smiling, "You want to repay me that much?"

Knelt down and threw herself into his arms.

"..."

It wasn't unreasonable for her to call him a beast! After being stunned for a few seconds, she tried to borrow some strength to get up from him.

She half leaned against the back of the chair and was about to sit up straight when the man held her back with one hand and held her legs with the other, easily carrying her.

The car door opened and she was carried out. She stretched out her fingers nervously and grabbed the man's shirt, with her eyes peeking up. His jaw line was very exquisite, and his thin lips and Adam's apple showed the unique charm of a man, and the cold fragrance around his body added an indescribable sexiness.

'This guy was so good-------looking.'

Thinking of this, she rubbed her face against the back of her hand shyly, trying to reduce the heat.

The man raised the corner of his lips and whispered, "Don't move."

The end sound was rustling hoarse, making her ears itch. She froze. What was she doing?

So desperate!

She was carried by him just like that until she fell into a soft bed, and her mind still hadn't woken up.

This was his bed.

This thought flashed through her mind, and it was as if her butt had been stabbed by a needle.

She was restless.

Things not only got off track, they also exceeded expectations. In the past, she had spent so much effort to climb onto this bed, but she had actually come up so easily now. She still remembered that on her first day of marriage, the shit man had let her sleep in the guest room.

On the 23rd day after the wedding, she failed again and was determined to move out. She thought that her husband would realize his mistake and ask her to stay.

But he did not.

She had left 515 days.

Now, she, Julia Green, had returned.

This was too unreal.

She fiercely pinched her face.

It hurt!

Tears were about to fall.

This is true.

Ford took the medicine box and turned around to see the girl frowning and pinching her face. Two deep finger marks appeared on her tender face. The man's gaze fell on the finger marks and dimmed for a moment.

He loosened his tight tie, pulled a chair and sat down, holding her left ankle in his palm.

She was unprepared, and her calf subconsciously fled. The pain made her frowned.

He clasped her ankles tightly and said softly, "Don't move."

Twenty—two years, this was the first time she had been held by a man like this. Her body stiffened and the skin was like burned by a flame. The flame continued to spread upwards from her ankle.

He gently pressed the ointment on her injured ankle and even rubbed her acupoints. He was focused and serious. His eyelashes were straight and long, with his tie hanging loosely on his shirt, and the sexy collarbone beneath his slightly opened collar could be faintly seen.

It made her feel dizzy.

Compared to the man's calmness, she felt a strong sense of shyness from the bottom of her heart. God knew that she was coveting the man's body again.

When she was deep in thinking, he had already let go of her foot. He looked up and unexpectedly bumped into that pair of bright eyes. Her cheeks had a faint blush, and the tail of her eyes lifted slightly, carrying a seductive and unconscious temptation.

He smiled slightly. He casually pulled a tissue to wipe his hand and asked hoarsely, "Why is your face so blushed? Is it feverish?"

His voice was as soft and loose as a wisp of snow, and as he spoke, he stretched out his hand to test her body temperature.

She blinked her eyes and suddenly moved backwards to dodge the hand. Just like that, the man's hand was in midair. The emotion in his gaze became even deeper and more attractive. She tilted her head slightly and organized her words, "I, I didn't. It's hot."

Hot.

Hot to head.

Otherwise, how would she dare to covet his body?

He glanced at her as if he was thinking about the credibility of her words. He withdrew his hand and said softly, "There should be no problem. There's new clothes in the closet."

So she was going to sleep here tonight?

She asked in a daze, "Am I sleeping alone?"

"No! No! That's not what I meant... I mean, aren't you sleeping here?"

"!!!"

She wanted to bite off her tongue!

That was not what she meant! She only wanted to ask where the master should sleep.

Save her.

Sure enough, he was also stunned for a moment. He narrowed his eyes and looked over, "Do you want me to sleep with you?"

'No!'

She gave up explaining and said weakly, "I'd better go home."

The man stared at her with his black eyes, with his voice lazy, "Are you threatening me... if I don't sleep with you, you're going home?"

"....."

Was that what she meant?

The next second, she heard a low and shallow ridicule from the man, "I'm not ready yet."

Then he left.

He left.

Oh-my-God!

A wave of humiliation fell on her chest. She didn't want to sleep with him. She lay on the bed, pounding on the quilt to vent her frustration and unwillingness. Why did she lose so badly every time she fought with him?

"Cough, cough!"

A hoarse cough sounded behind him.

Julia sat well like a conditioned reflex, only to see the man leaning against the door and throwing her phone over.

His seemed to be suppressing his laughter. He coughed softly and said, "There's no need to be so angry. There will be a chance in the future."

What the heck! That was clearly not what she mean.

After he left, she got out of bed in a second and locked the door. Then she picked up her phone. There were more than a dozen missed calls, so she called back to Lily.

"Oh god! Julia, I thought you were kidnapped."

"No."

"So where are you now?"

In order to make Lily be at ease, she honestly replied, "My future ex—husband's house."

"Fine. Do you want to develop a relationship with your husband?"

Lily's words had simply pierced into Julia's heart, causing her furious in an instant.

"No. Never! I want to divorce him instead."

That was right, she shouldn't be blinded by eight abs and a moment of gentleness. If this continued, she would probably lose her life.

Compared to beauty, she cherished her life more.

"Since you felt so bad, why did you marry him back then?"

Julia was stunned for a moment and her thoughts drifted into the distance. Because he was the light.

He pulled her from the darkness to light.
