"The monks are a simple folk almost divine people who hope to find peace and love"

This was never the case for young tori who was just a mere infant when he was left at the stairs of the Hana monastery by a woman clothed in a black hood.

"Be well my child, don't let him find you" she knocks on the door screaming for sanctuary but as two young monks arrive they find only the infant child clutching a toy bird.

 "Teacher! Look at what we have discovered by the steps, it's a child" the two monks lay the child in an inferno of their teacher with excited eyes.

" hello, their little one what's your name? I see you are a strong one full of ki and a dark past, but that is fine you will be like the bird that you grasp so close Shiroi tori the white bird" the teacher rubs his head and lays him down on an altar and levitates in a meditation position.

The two other monks do the same as they start to chant sealing darkness into young tori which hopefully he will not discover until the day he dies.

Years go by and the baby became a boy then became a man who trained with such potential frightened almost everyone he learned under master Kumo to harness ki and to push himself to the utmost martial arts body.

"young tori come here I have something to tell you" master Kumo walks back into the temple with a worried look on his face.

"master is everything okay?* tori asks walking side by side his master "I've never seen you so tense in my life"

"tori there is something I have not told you, the day you came to us I felt an uneasy presence around us and for years I've tried my utmost best to shield us from it" the master closes the huge doors and seals it with a spell.

"Master, what is going on?" Tori looks nervously as his master takes a fighting position "master what are you doing?" tori's position as well "master I don't want to hurt you.

"Prepare to die my…my son" master Kumo grabs tori and drops him in seconds "I'm not letting you come back to this life" master Kumo taps his toris back breaking his spine.

Tori's body starts to emit a huge amount of energy as his clothes turn black and his eyes slowly opening exposing his red eyes.

 "stupid old man, trying to kill my body! You have no idea who I am" tori fix his spine and gets up I am Ōkami, I am the god of martial arts but I was killed amid night by my  bastard father killed me, so I thank you"

 Master Kumo gets up and gets into a fighting position "I will do it again and this time put you down forever" master Kumo goes in for the kill clutching a kunai (blade) he pulled from his leg.

"Old fool" with a flash step Okami grabs Kumo by the head and slams it into the stomach of buddha dropping Kumo, Okami looks up at buddha smiling "I've made it home old friend" he bows then walks off.

"don't count me out yet boy" master Kumo slowly gets up bleeding from his head smiling "you dare talk to buddha you fucking demon, I should have just killed you when I had the chance, now I shall make due to the sin and seal your memories again, stay safe my son"

Okami rushed over but before he could land the final blow, Kumo pushed him back with a spell, a spell to not only lock Okami away but bring back tori.

" Haha it's done" I can now die in peace, the old man falls and passes away.

After some tori wakes up in a cell chained to the bed by his wrists and neck "what the hell is this? Hello!? Is anyone there"

A monk walks towards the cell looking directly at tori "ah brother you've woken from your 33-day sleep, maybe now you can tell us how and why you killed the master"

Tori with shock in his eyes try to get loose but it would't budge "that old man tried to kill me, last thing I remember was him closing the doors then next thing I knew I had this intense back pain"

The monk smiled and opened the cell "you will talk boy" the monk pulls out a whip and starts whipping tori hoping to get an answer form him.

Days go by and tori stuck to his story so the monk felt the need to take off the neck chain , tori head butted the monks nose and pushed him away but the monk retaliated so tori as gifted as he way managed to grab his arm and put him in a leg lock and chocked him till he passed out.

He reached for the keys and freed himself sneaking away he made it out of the monastery and away from danger
