Pt 1: Marinette loses Tikki

"Tikki?" I perked up checking everywhere in my bedroom and counted every Miraculous object in the guardian box.

Sazz put out a hand to me "What is it, Marinette?"

The Quammies swarmed me concerned, I cried and I cried and I was really distressed, I couldn't believe I lost a friend that I loved dearly. I couldn't breathe and I was hyperventilating.

Gasp* gasp*

My eyes opened when I checked for my earrings, somehow they had magically disappeared, without a trace of where I kept them last. I checked the box as if they would magically reappear again and I groaned and buried my head on my knees in despair.

"I've lost Tikki and I don't know what to do! Oh Sazz, this is a disaster, now master Fu will think I'm a failure, I can't handle the disappointment," I sobbed "I can't,"

Tears rolled down my eyes and I could feel the wet patches on my pants by the knees.

The Quammies looked at each other and they started to scream in panic.

"How could you lose her!?"

"Could you be so careless!?"

"Yes! Yes! I lost her and I failed...ooh!" I clutched both sides of my hair and stopped to think, they were making a hell lot of noise and I prodded them to be quiet, my heart was breaking and my world was spinning, this wasn't the first time I lost Tikki, each time I lost her, I always manage to pull through.

I felt a surge of hope again, if master Fu were here, he would encourage to go on and look past my mistakes and amend my ways.

"Hmm," I grunted in conviction and set my mind at ease to look around. I walked to a chest on my grotto and opened it. There was a picture of me with Alya at the beach, we were smiling with our eyes and lips of course and Tikki was right behind us_of course, Quammies couldn't be seen on photos but that moment was special.

I closed it and my heart sunk, the Quammies were staring at me like I'd lost my senses but I wasn't giving up yet, at least not on the first step.

Hawkmoth's POV

Hawkmoth groped his fists in the attic and screamed "Noooo! Arrrgh! I can't believe it was so simple all along," He grinned and looked through his hologram visors at her.

"I have no doubt that Marinette Dupain-Cheng is masquerading as Ladybug, it's so unequivocal, so unbelievable, I never would've surmised it, that a klutz like that would be able to live up to the potential of being the coordinated Ladybug," He clenched his fist and grunted "Hmm," in resolve and he spun his cane and set it down with a echoing thud.

"She resisted my Akuma but I have better plans for you, soon, just wait and see,"
