Meanwhile on the other hand Siera was with Gwi in her room. The commander-in-chief was pouring some warm tea for the princess which became his routine activity before going to bed. Siera always consumed chamomile tea before going to bed when they were still living in Hwon's palace. Gwi deliberately ordered this drink specifically from Sung palace kitchen so that the princess could enjoy a comfortable and maximum rest that night. Siera was sitting on a chair at the balcony of her room while enjoying the tea the commander poured for her. The princess looked at the beautiful view of Sung kingdom that was showed in front of her.

"Seeing the serenity of this country makes me almost forget the amount of destruction out there, do you feel the same way Gwi?" asked the princess to her bodyguard.

"You are right princess... This country is so peaceful and comfortable. This atmosphere makes me miss the peace in our country, Hwon" said Gwi expressing his feelings. Siera smiled faintly.

"Do you think we will be able to defeat Binju and return to life peacefully like before? I don't know why but getting closer to this war moment makes me wonders... Will I be able to continue living and witnessing this peace again?" muttered Siera in a soft voice. Her eyes stared far away onto the horizon.

"my majesty! Don't ever say anything like that. We're going to win and defet Biju. And you will surely live to witness our victory. You're not going to die... I will protect you with all my soul, please don't ever mentioning your death like that..." Gwi seemed panicked and anxious to imagine the possibility of the the princess death.

The man was unable to think of witnessing the death of the princess before him. The panic and anxiety that instantly filled the werewolf's facial expression made Siera smile and feel ridiculous. The look in the man's eyes was filled with deep sadness and loss, as if the new thing he had said had actually happened before him.

"Chh... Gwi, why are you being more anxious about my death than my own self? Don't worry. I will make sure that you do not have to witness my death, I will live a longer life and die after you" said Siera with a smile, trying to reassure and get rid of the werewolf's anxiety in front of her.

" Are you really going to keep that promise? " ask Gwi with a great hope. Siera nodded steadily and smiled sincerely so as to make the man feel better.

"tok tok tok" suddenly they heard the sound of knocking on the door from the outside of Siera's bedroom door.

The two of them exchanged glances and Siera asked Gwi to open the door through her gesture. The faithful commander walked up to the door and did what the princess had ordered him to do. He opened the door of Siera's room widely and found a handsome and authoritative man standing in front of the princess' room. The man was prince Eros, the fiancée of the princess he served.

Gwi's facial expression instantly became stiffer. His facial muscles seemed unable to move. Gwi showed his respect to the prince of Dam kingdom in front of him but he was unable to hide the sharp he had.

On the other hand, Eros did not expect that he would cross paths and meet Gwi who appeared from inside his fiancée's room. Eros raised his head to look for Siera's figure in the room. The woman was sitting on the balcony with a cup of tea in her hand. She looked towards the prince and called out to him in a low voice. Eros smiled.

"Eros... Is there anything you want to saya to me?" the princess asked her lover.

"Yes, there are things I want to discuss with you alone," Eros said, putting emphasis on the end of his sentence.

He did that to indirectly ask Gwi to leave the room. Gwi clearly understood the meaning of his words. He turned his head towards the princess who was just looking at him silently. It seemed that Siera didn't mind the prince's request at all. Gwi sighed deeply and then came out of Siera's room with a heavy heart.

Eros smiled triumphantly in satisfied. As a fellow man he was clearly able to feel that Siera's loyal bodyguard had a special feeling for the princess he served. Through his gestures, his gazes and the way Gwi treats Siera, Eros clearly understands that the man loves his lover.

To be honest the prince felt uncomfortable when he found that the man who had the distinctive cold voice was inside his fiancée's room at this curfew. But seeing how relaxed Siera treated Gwi normally and asked him to leave when the prince came made Eros feel relieved. He thought maybe Siera had absolutely no special feelings for the bodyguard who loved always love her.

Siera is not a naïve girl who is unable to read other people's characters or their thoughts. By spending a very long with the bodyguard, she must have realized the feeling of love that the man had secretly harbored to her. But Siera didn't seem to want to take his feeling into consideration in her mind.

"Why didn't you sleep Siera?" asked Eros approaching the princess and sitting on the chair in front of her. He saw that there was a cup of tea and another glass wrapped in the tray on the table. The glass seemed untouched.

" I'm trying to relax my mind and body before going to bed," Siera said casually as she twisted the cup in her hand.

"Are you guys drinking together?" asked Eros who mentioning Gwi. Siera shook her head slowly.

"Gwi never liked this kind of drink, he just accompanied and helped me pour the drink," Siera said flatly. A sweet smile landed back on the prince's lips. He was relieved to hear her answer.

" Do you want to accompany me for a drink?" asked Siera later. Eros nodded then picked up the glass at the table and poured a drink into it. They spent some time in silence to enjoy a soothing warm drink.

"What were you guys talking about earlier?" asked Eros trying to dig into another conversation.

"Oh.. Just a few things about our upcoming battle" the princess sipped her warm tea again and looked outside the palace.

Hearing the word of battle made Eros sigh deeply. For some reason he suddenly felt an anxiety coming closer to his heart. His facial expression instantly turned to be more serious.

"Siera..." call the descendants of the king of the land of Dam in a soft voice. Siera looked up and then put down the cup. She looked at Eros fixedly and waited for the prince to continue his words. She knew the man wanted to say something serious to her.

" I never doubted your fighting ability, I knew you were a great warrior. Well I've had experience a fight with you directly... But.... Can you not join this battle and just wait in a safe place?" asked Eros expressing his anxiety. Siera let out a long sigh and looked at the man in front of her seriously.

" Eros... I don't want to turn my back and leave my brother on the battlefield alone. I also want to fight with you and my other comrades. That's the only thing that can make me feel more comfortable" explained Siera with a full confidence. Eros let out a deep sigh then played his cup on the table. He tried to search for words to respond to the princess' statement.

"I know you said this out of concern for me... But trust me, everything will be fine. We will definitely win," Siera added, firmly confirming her fiancé's faith as well as her own faith. Eros raised his face then nodded softly while smiling at the princess.

"Well... Let's win this battle then... Let's continue our tied on marriage. Marry me Siera. I don't want to delay and wait for this opportunity anytime longer..." The prince proposed to the woman who had long been his lover.

Siera and Eros have been engaged for quite some time. Before the attack from Binju forces they had set the date of their own wedding. It's just that Binju's attack happened before their wedding was held. They had been separated for eleven years and never knew about each other whereabout. During that time the two thought that their lover had died in the attack that Binju launched on their Kingdom. Of course, the reunion that took place without planned lik this wants to be utilized by the prince to the maximum. He didn't want to lose Siera again because of this battle.

Siera smiled at the words of prince Eros. He was able to understand and feel the sincerity of the prince's heart toward her. She understood that the man didn't want to waste a little bit of their togetherness. She also understood why Eros had expressed his desire to get married now. Who knows what will happen in the war they will soon face. They have nothing to lose.

Eros... Let's make sure to win. Let us seize the peace of our kingdom and destroy Binju together..." Siera smiled with confidence.

On the other hand, Gwi who had been standing beside the door of the room since coming out earlier was able to listen to all of the conversation between the two noble descendants from the different kingdoms. His Heart instantly fell apart. He knew that he was unable to put any hope on the princess. He knew he should never have asked for anything from the princess who was always in his heart. He knew he couldn't ask the princess to see and understand his heart. He has no right to do that.

Gwi didn't want to hear the conversations between the two lovers anymore. He stepped on his heavy legs to go away. He was only a servant to Siera who always became his master. Who is he to compared his self to Eros, the prince who has power. Gwi may be able to protect Siera with all the strength he has. But in order to ensure Siera's security with the power of any possibility that threatens her position, Eros is the best person to do so. As the future King of Dam Kingdom, Eros is the best person for Siera.

From the very beginning Gwi was nobody. He was unable to give anything in Siera's life. Therefore he was never able to ask the princess to accept his heart. There was nothing else he could do for the princess other than love her, even if the woman had to belong to another man who was more deserving of her.
