Her Ignorant

The king's question to Siera also caught the attention of the queen as well as Woon who joined the royal family dinner that night. Woon put down his tablespoon and watching his sister's expression and response to their father's question. Siera paused for a moment and sighed then placed her spoon on the table.

"Why did you suddenly ask that father?" asked Siera curiously. The smiling king then take out an official letter sent from the kingdom of Dam which arrived at noon that day.

"Have you been in a close relationship with prince Eros during this friendly match? Father caught you interacted with him for several times, this letter contain a marriage proposal from Eros to you," said the king giving a letter with a distinctive royal stamp of Dan kingdom to the princess.

"Eros really did it?" asked the girl incredulously. She thought that all of Eros' speeches were just an empty word and meaningless but it turned out that the prince was really serious about his words and asked Siera to be the future queen of his kingdom.

"That seems to be the case, so how do you answer for this?" asked the father focusing all his attention on Siera. The princess looked around the room, her mother and brother were also seriously waiting for the answer that the princess would give them.

"All right," Siera answer the king question lightly.

On the next day Woon goes to do his training session with Ryu and is trained by Gwi as usual. But today Woon didn't seem too excited. The prince made several mistakes and seemed unfocused. Of course this caught the attention of Ryu as well as Gwi Who accompanied the prince.

"What is it that really disturbing the prince's mind at this time?" asked Gwi curiously and seemed worried to see the unusual behavior of his student who was always actively practicing.

Woon let out a long sigh then put down his sword and took a seat not so far from where he practiced his swords with Ryu and Gwi. He looked so limp and lacklustre. His eyes emitted a sense of sadness and loss.

"I should have been happy for this, but I couldn't help but to be sad when I imagined that I would part ways with my beloved sister," Woon said.

He had become so close to his older sister, they always spent time together in every activities. Woon loved and respected Siera with all of his heart. Just imagining that they would be separated after Siera chose her own path makes Woon feel so lost even though it hasn't happened yet.

"What happened to her majesty?" asked Gwi quickly. Everything related to Siera has always been the center of attention for the man.

"my sister has agree on the marriage application submitted by the prince of the Dam Kingdom. Today my father will send a letter to give his answer to the king of Dam," said the prince with a huff voice.

His statement silenced the mouth of the mighty werewolf. His chest felt so tight and heavy. He was like he had been struck by a terrible lightning bolt on a very bright day. He was unable to believe Woon's words yet he also had no power left to confirm the information once again. Gwi walked towards the place of the sword and took a sword from its place.

"Clakk!!" he swing the sword with all of his might and managed to perfectly cut a chunk of wood they usually used to practice swords. All the anger, disappointment of sadness and other negative feelings that filled his heart he used to cut all the remaining wood. Ryu and Woon looked at their coach's back with the eyes full of sadness. They understood how the commander feel right now. They all knew very well of how Gwi really felt to the princess. But none of them can do anything about it.

That evening Gwi went alone to the riverbank away from the palace and trained his body to fight empty-handed. He continued to hit, kick and smash the huge rocks that were in front of him. He continued to move and expended all the energy left in his body to eliminate all the immortality in his heart. He didn't care if the skin of his hands started to bruise and bleed because he kept pushing himself like that.

"Why are you training so hard like that Gwi?" asked a woman whose voice appeared from behind Gwi's back.

The man was too familiar with the woman's voice. He knew exactly who the owner of the voice was, she was the reason that brought destruction in Gwi's current heart and soul, Siera. Gwi didn't answer the princess' question and continued to force his body to continue fighting.

"I'm getting married," Siera said flatly and inform the news to her loyal bodyguards.

"Bummmm!!!" Gwi launched the final blow into the pile of stones in front of him strongly and made the stone shatter into small pieces. He grinned in pain and his eyes emitted such agony.

"Why did you tell me about the news?" asked Gwi turning his body and looking at Siera tearfully. Siera was aware of Gwi's expression and the meaning implied on his face.

"Because I think you need to know," she said without breaking the eye contact between the two of them.

Somehow Siera was unable to turn her face away from the werewolf who was always strong but looked fragile at that time. Gwi is the one who ends the eye contact between the two. He turned his back and stared far into the horizon. There was a wry smile that landed on his lips.

"Are you... Love the prince?" asked Gwi doubtfully. He doesn't know what he wants to know by asking that question. Was he really able to withstand the pain that was more severe from the possible answer the princess gave him now?

"Love? You don't look like a person who will be able to talk about love matters like this Gwi" said Siera with a light laugh. Gwi turned his head and looked seriously at the princess before him.

"Please answer my question, princess..." The man said and half begging her. Siera stopped laughing then put on a serious face and looked straight at Gwi.

"I'm not sure about love yet, not yet... but I do take an interest on him. We have a lot in common and I think I can achieve my dream if I'm stay with him..." The princess replied bluntly.

"Your dream?" asked Gwi Who can not understanding her answer. Siera nodded slowly.

"My dream is to be the leader of a kingdom. Eros was the future king of Dam kingdom. If I marry him then I will become a queen and not just being a princess of a kingdom that has no power like now." she continue.

Gwi frowned. Is that really the only purpose of marriage for Siera? In order for her to gain the power? Why is the power so important for her? She had everything in her life, why did she still want more powers?

"Why is it so important to you?" asked Gwi confusedly.

"Since it has something to do with my self esteem, I feel safe when I have a power over others," Siera replied with a flat expression.

Authority and power... The thing Siera always wanted was the only thing Gwi couldn't give her. Yes, he was indeed an ordinary man without any power. Is that the reason why the princess never look at his direction and dump his feeling toward her? Yet Gwi couldn't do anything about it and could only accept everything with his wounded heart.

"Srrkkk" the voice that appears behind Gwi's back resuscitates the man from his memories and pulls him back to the present. Gwi looked back and saw Siera was standing in front of him.

"What do you do in the middle of a forest at a midnight like this? Are you not going to sleep?" the princess asked the werewolf without move out from her place.

Gwi seemed so messy, fragile and lonely. The man looked so sad and showed the gaze of his eyes which filled with devastation, the same expression he had shown Siera for some years ago.

"After a long time has passed... Do you still want to marry him? Even after all the things that befell us?" asked Gwi desperately to the princess.

Even after such a long time why does he still felt so sick and devastated by all the reality that was repeatedly displayed before his eyes. Why he still couldn't accept all of this with a light heart? Why it is all still so hard for him?

"Why are you asking that question with such a pitiful expression like that?" asked Siera still looking relaxed in a flat tone. It was as if she didn't want to care about the overflow of feelings that had almost exploded in the heart of the man who standing before her.

" Don you really don't know why, my princess? "Ask Gwi in a hoarse voice. Siera sighed deeply, her facial expression changed.

"Gwi... Why do you even love someone like me?" asked Siera at the end. She had always held this question to herself for many years. But on that day she decided to ask him.

Gwi was surprised to hear Siera's question, he had indeed guessed that the princess had actually realized the feelings he had for her but he didn't know that Siera really knew everything. During this time Siera did not look at him and notice his feelings not because the woman was unaware of Gwi's feelings toward her.

Siera already knows everything, who wouldn't realize all that when Gwi always puts herself as a top priority in his life? Siera knew the werewolf's love for her that tormented the man's mind. Siera knew but decided to close her eyes from everything related to his feeling . She chose not to care about Gwi's feelings for her. Realizing her ignorant, Gwi couldn't help but falling into his grief again, a tear had just fallen down his cheek.
