Newly Gained Allies (3)

I laid myself on the ground.

Completely dead beat.

Right next to my tired body was a giant slowly moving piece of slime, which was the remnants of the King Slime that had been killed by two people.

One, by me and the elf.

The other...

Well the guy wiping his sword away of any gel was the answer to that.

"Ugh..."

Groaning in immense pain, I could barely move my body as the tiredness reached me.

Before we could free the Ninja who cleaved the remaining King slime into two equal parts like it was nothing.

Me and the elf had to spend a stupid amount of time wearing down the King Slime containing the guy.

And with the help of the other elf ninjas? We finally took down the giant monstrosity born of slime.

Opening my inventory to take out the drops that just entered my inventory at the death of the boss as I was nearby.

I took out the guaranteed Lesser healing potion and drank it from within the Inventory without needing to take it out, uncork the bottle and drink the healing fluid.

Perks of being a game character consisting of three different games I guess.

Feeling the weak life energy heal my bruised and tired body.

I sat up and looked at my inventory much to the surprise of the Elf who was still encased in the grass armor.

Although it was much more battered.

Looking much better than my previous pallid form that seemed devoid of blood I sensed a tremble from within my inventory.

And without looking to see the perpetrator.

I already knew who was the cause of the trembling.

'Not now Ryley'

Looking around at the awe filled gaze that were mixed with tinges of fear I sighed with audible relief.

Attracting the attention of the Ninja who greeted me with a jovial tone in their voice.

"Hello there! You were quite impressive out there, Can you tell me who was your master?"

Flinging the long pair of katana's to get rid of the remnant slime gel on it I looked at the slime before taking another health potion as the cooldown was up.

But what does he mean by master?

Perhaps seeing the visible confusion which was prominent in my eyes, the Ninja man chuckled and spoke underneath his mask.

Disappearing from their place right besides the giant golden crown they appeared right in front of my eyes and pointed their weapon to the air.

Placing the flat of the blade on my shoulder with the blade pointing away from my neck, the Ninja continued.

"Who trained you of course" Tapping my shoulders he continued. "A body meant for combat like this isn't developed without specific training."

Hearing his words understanding dawned on me.

But just as the understanding fell upon my mind I fell into a dilemma.

'So how do I explain this'

I couldn't just say that I suddenly appeared in this world or I was already this strong from the start.

Actually, How did I come to this world actually?

Suddenly falling into a dilemma right now isn't good!

Pinching my arm behind my back I straightened my back and breathed out slowly to clear out my mind.

'Now think Slade'

Sinking into the sea of thoughts that lay within my mind, I recalled my memories.

The ninja in front of me was watching this happen with amusement as I was panicking slightly.

'Is his master some sort of reclusive figure? If they are, than it makes sense why he's so reluctant to reveal their master'

Opening their mouth from underneath their mask words came out of my own mouth without my won realization.

"My master..."

Pausing at those words, the Ninja looked at the man in front of him and felt the difference in aura.

'Oh?'

Feeling the solemn aura the words that came out of the man's mouth was shocking.

"Is the Mechanic doing what they're supposed to do?"

The Lunatic Cultist stood on an uplifted piece of ground while facing another direction with a still beating heart in their hand.

Right in front of the Lunatic Cultist was a naked man in the shadows with a hole in their chest.

It seemed the heart that was in their hand was the one from the man's body, seeing as the place where the heart was supposed to be was missing.

Bowing to the Lunatic Cultist the Lunatic Devotees knelt to the devotee even as more people with fearful steps walked past them.

"Yes sir, at first the Mechanic was against the idea, but after some induction to the Churches teaching she was very willing"

"Good"

The metal mask turned around ass the red eyes underneath glanced at the people who were walking to a giant eye that was torn into several pieces.

"It was troubling but we have recovered the remaining parts of the Eye of Cthulhu"

A woman in red hair and covered in black soot while wearing blue overalls built a round ball of metal as the devotees walked past her while leading the people.

"And soon with the help of the sacrifices and the Mechanic"

Leading them into a large blue circle made of strange ink with mystical properties.

The reason why the why the devotees were leading the sacrifices was soon revealed.

A chain of Lunatic Devotees carrying knives with glowing blue sigils on them stepped forwards as they stabbed the necks of the sacrifices.

"We will cause our lords eyes to undergo Rebirth! And Rebirth into newer better forms!"

Shouting maniacally with an increasingly deranged voice.

The Mechanic flinched before her better judgement causing the Lunatic Cultists eyes to snap towards her.

Hurriedly returning to her work as the blood flowed into the magic circle and formed pieces of glowing metal and screaming souls which were restrained in the circle.

It was to late to regret as the attention of the Cultist was laid upon her.

Putting their hand out in a grabbing motion a large blue clawed hand formed and surged to the woman.

"It seems that you don't understand what a great honor you are getting for serving our great lord"

The Mechanic screamed as they dropped their things and tried to get away from the encroaching blue hand.

Grasping the struggling mechanic in the literal palm of their hands a blue aura seeped out of the corners of their mask.

"So I will make you understand, the greatness of the lord, and the honor you have for serving our lords purpose."

"NO!!!!"

Screaming out in terror, knowing about the torture that was to come under the guise of 'Indoctrination'.

The Mechanic in the blue overalls screamed in terror as she neared the Lunatic cultist.

"In fact, to show you the honor you have for serving the lords purpose, I will personally indoctrinate you on our lords greatness"

Fear evident in her blue eyes the Mechanic already knew that she would be facing immense torture once again.

"Hmm?"

After leaving the inhuman being behind, the last Dryad named Celestia tended to a special sanctuary where golden hearts entwined in several vines were laid.

'He shouldn't die anytime soon, and the being has proved his strength by besting the Beast'

Recalling the Eye of Cthulhu's body which had mostly dissipated into mana around the damaged parts she nodded at how he had valiantly faced the beast according to what the plants had told her.

Snapping her head to the side as she sensed an ominous presence.

Her eyes narrowed into slits as the ominous aura soon disappeared.

'The Moon Lord's aura...'

Sighing she turned her head up and looked to the sky as she looked at the greenery covering the cave roof.

'It seems the peaceful times after the Moon Lord's sealing is disappearing soon'
