1 Day 1 | “A Village”

[Darkness from left to right, and up to down, all I see is darkness. It feels as though I'm falling and stopping simultaneously, and yet at the same time it's as if I'm not moving at all.]

[But sooner rather than later, a light appears it's nothing big or small. But the warmth it radiates is so captivating, soon the light engulfs me and everything becomes so clear..]

Steven would slowly begin to open his eyes taking his first ever look in the world he's in. And the first thing that came into view was the vast blue sky above his head.

"..it's..pretty"

We're the firsts words to escape his lips, soon he turned his head left to be meet with nothing but a forest. Shortly after he turned his head right to meet face to face with a pig.

They both stare at each other for a moment, then the pig oinks. Making Steve giggle and slowly get up from the grassy ground he's on, and soon he began to get up and gazed over the vast Forest he finds himself in.

"How did I get here?.."

Steve began to walk around the forest taking in the beauty and the scenery, all the while looking for any other signs of human beings. After aimlessly walking for an hour or two the sun would begin to set.

Causing Steve to get a bad feeling but not long after he stumbles out of the forest to look beyond a filed of grass to see a gaggle of houses with lights and people walking about.

"..a village of some sort?"

He'd make his way over too the village looking around, noticing some of the locals here all look the same.

"Uhhm..excuse me?.."

He'd meet the gaze of all the villagers making one simple sound "Hm?". Steve although very confused he slowly starts to understand the villagers and manages too get a house within their village to stay for the night.

"This place will do"

He enters one of the many few houses in the village, (although it costs 20 emerald's the villagers let him off the hook with a freebie. Steve showed his gratitude by offering a hand in any form of manual labor. And thus a deal was sealed between the village and Steve).

Back in the present Steve is laying down on his bed thinking about what to do after he's done here. Wether he should leave or stay, but at the same time he couldn't shake the feeling like he knows what he should do. It's just that he can't remember right now.

"..I should get some sleep, I promised the villagers I'd help with mining some emerald's"

Shortly after this selfless declaration, Steve fell asleep pretty fast. The world went silent and everything felt calm and peaceful.

[Again, this vast void of nothingness filled with darkness where no light ever seems to exist. I wonder where it ends..or where it even begins, but at same time I don't think I want to know either.]

[..Truthfully I just want a simple answer to what my purpose is..then again, I'm not sure I do have a purpose. Wait no, I do have one..it's just that I can't remember it right now is all.]

[…..But for now I'll just do what I can, and see where this path takes me. Maybe I can make some friends along the way, that'd be nice.]
