From Thomas Wilson

2 days after the incident in the park...

It rained recently. Even if it is still early morning, the sun has already begun its ascent to the heavenly throne. The rays of the sun illuminated the city landscape. The apartment buildings stood like concrete giants, looming over the people passing below. Here and there you can see the rich green colors of pieces of nature, both man-made and untouched by people. The rays of the sun reflected both from the glass and from small puddles on the ground and asphalt, illuminating this beautiful world with stripes of light. They were reflected and blinded my eyes. Birds flew across the sky, greeting with their singing this beautiful morning and, of course, the sun. The sky is clear. Only the blue of the vast sky. A wonderful picture.

However, my mood was far from this. He was not at all moved by the picture passing outside the window of my Ford. My mood was not very rosy. Like a cloudy day with a howling fierce wind. Sarah and I spent the last two days on pins and needles. The incident in the park still couldn't get out of my head, it wouldn't let us out of its grip. It's good that this didn't affect Koldor in any way. He was still either observing his surroundings or studying, once again, our house. What a calm child.

Now I was driving to work and thinking about this situation. The appearance of a strange patient and the pack of dogs that almost tore my family to pieces are somehow connected. This thought was beating like an alarm bell in my head. The next day after the incident, I wanted to go to the patient, but he did not come to his senses, which is logical: the blood loss was large. According to forecasts, he should come to his senses within 3 days. I hope he comes to his senses today or tomorrow. The sooner we understand our situation, the better.

Arriving at the hospital, I parked the car in the parking lot and went up to my office. Having taken the patient's file, I went to his room. His card indicated that he was recovering quickly, and perhaps he would come to his senses today or tomorrow.

Arriving in the room and closing the door behind me, I turned to the patient and came across a wary and searching gaze, black as a moonless night. We looked at each other for a minute.

"My name is Thomas Wilson," I broke the silence. - I am your attending physician, what is your name? How are you feeling?

The man, although most likely a young guy, was silent. Only his wrinkled forehead somehow reflected his reaction to my words. We stared at each other for a few more minutes.

"Sir," I broke the silence again, "Can you say something?" I need your name and address so I can contact your relatives and report your whereabouts.

We are silent again. Somewhere outside the window, birds are singing, and we look at each other silently and without moving. This situation is starting to get annoying...

"Regulus, my name is Regulus Black," the guy said in a slightly hoarse voice. Well, a start has been made.

2 days have passed since the incident in the park. All this time the parents seemed to be out of their minds. Either everything falls out of hand, then the father, reading the newspaper, froze and did not react to anything, then the mother, for no apparent reason, began to cry. I even had to calm her down a couple of times, to the best of my ability. At such moments, she hugged me and cried into my shoulder for several minutes. And I tried to somehow calm her down.

I myself fully recovered from my first ejection on the second day. My body was rested, my head didn't hurt, the world didn't go round, and the first and second principles were restored, even changes in the second principle became noticeable. The seventh was filled with mana.

Watching the second beginning, I realized that the production of prana had increased. Not by much (no matter how you look at it), about 5 percent, but still this inspired optimism. I am developing and do not stand still. The density of prana also increased. Because of this, my body, to begin with, became less tired. This is incredible. Even the brain began to work longer, although it is unlikely because of prana. Most likely, he became less tired because of prana, and he worked better because of the mana that enters the brain through the formed mana channels.

Changes also occurred in the seventh shell. As soon as the mana was restored, it began the rapid process of sprouting channels into other parts of the body. I also did not ignore this and gave a "command" to mana to grow channels into the organs, and only then into all other parts of the body: arms, legs, bones, muscles, and so on. And the process went the way I wanted, without harming the body and the seventh principle; on the contrary, the speed of development of the seventh principle increased.

In the head itself, the channels began to grow. From the very beginning, the channels grew into the brain, eyes, ears, mouth and nose. Now smaller channels have begun to "grow" from the main channels in order to cover the entire head. I have some vague guesses.

There has also been progress in mana management. If before I could not control the mana in my body and bring it out, now I can control it. And also release mana into the environment. This feeling is unforgettable. It was as if you had mastered a new limb, albeit not yet developed and little controlled, but it was still there. And she was like family.

Now I'm sitting in my crib and trying to mentally direct mana to the rattle lying opposite me. But it didn't work out very well. What am I trying to do? Push her away. What's happening? Mana, like fog, emanates from me and partially envelops the rattle. Aaaand…. Nothing happens... Mana dissipates in the environment.

How can I try again? Imagine a hand? I think there needs to be a lot more control than I currently have. But trying is not torture. Imagining a hand from mana, I tried to grab the rattle. And I immediately felt dizzy. Too much concentration is needed.

From the outside it probably looks funny. The spacious room has a baby cot. A child about six months old sits in it. He sits and concentrates, with a gloomy face, staring at the rattle. The eyebrows rise to the center of the forehead, then fall almost to the nose.

After thinking about this situation, an idea came to my mind. What if, at the first stages, we enclose the rattle in a sphere? Well, like how a hand grabs it, but completely envelops it?

No sooner said than done. Concentrating, I imagined how a hand made of mana loses its shape and "spreads" over the rattle. Once the process came to an end, I tried to "lift" the rattle.

Very slowly the rattle began to rise. Step by step, she rose and hovered in front of her face. She did not hang for long. After 5 seconds, she fell back onto the crib, making a soft sound.

My head was spinning and I was shaking. But I was glad, even happy. I managed. I'm a magician. So what if you don't have a lot of strength? I'm young and I have everything ahead of me. The main thing is persistence and perseverance. And I have plenty of this.

Thinking about this, I absorbed mana from the environment, thereby helping the core in its work and development.

I feel like I will have this kind of training for a long time. Well, where has ours not disappeared, right?
