Hearing her words made Itsuki let out a tired sigh inwardly, it was so troublesome dealing with this woman.

Kurumi seeing Itsuki's helpless expression just licked her lips as she couldn't help but find her master cute, she couldn't help but want to bully him more.

The creepy laughter of multiple women and the wails of people just added to the horror...

Kurumi held Itsuki's arms as if they were on a date, Itsuki didn't bother telling her not to, as she wouldn't listen either way and it wasn't like he was losing out. The constant soft feeling on his arms made him feel a little less guilty about the massacre he was committing.
He didn't know if this was Kurumi's way of making him feel better.
He couldn't guess what was going through that crazy head of hers.
He summoned her because, by devouring all of these people it would be useful for her, anyways he was planning on killing them and wouldn't it be wasteful if she didn't consume their time? Shinobi had much better vitality than normal people.
Rather than letting these scum go to waste it was much better to let her devour them
His vitality chakra is useful for her and he had already helped her form a seal capable of holding a stock of it, to use in case of emergencies...

Itsuki was sitting on a hill overlooking the destruction he had caused. The previous Kusagakure was no more, in its place only a scorched land was visible.
Although all of them were scum it still didn't make him feel good, taking a life never felt good, unless you were a psychopath. And he certainly wasn't one.
while he was brooding he felt a soft sensation on the back of his head as a pair of arms enveloped him from behind. Itsuki didn't say anything and just melted into the warm and soft embrace.
They sat in a comfortable silence neither said anything, just finding solace in the moment.
"If it makes you feel better, know that all of them were scum. They bullied civilians and raped women, and robbed others, they were no less than bandits." Kurumi said in a soft tone while hugging Itsuki.
"Hmm" Itsuki just let out a noncommittal hum as he continued staring off into the distance but suddenly he felt his head being forced upwards as he gazed at Kurumi who had an annoyed expression on her beautiful face.
"Stop sulking about some trash's death! You probably did a good thing by killing all of these scum. Don't you know how they treated that woman named Kana?" Kurumi said a little annoyed, she didn't like that he was sad about the deaths of people like these.
When she talked with him he did mention that woman named Kana whom he saved, although he didn't say anything else she knew something was up, and thus from what she saw from some of the memories of people here, this woman wasn't even treated like a human being.
Although Kurumi didn't mind killing people, she would always try to kill those that are trash and unredeemable, and it's not like she cared if others saw her as some monster...

Itsuki was stunned as he stared at Kurumi who had an uncharacteristically gentle smile on her face, coupled with the fact that she was in her normal form Itsuki couldn't help but be a little mesmerized

Gazing at Itsuki who had a lost expression on her face, Kurumi suddenly had a mischievous smile on her face as she leaned down to land a gentle kiss on his forehead.
"Here~ I hope this cheers you up~ Master~, Fufufu~" Kurumi said with a smile as dark mist covered her form as she vanished with her mischievous laughter ringing in the air and a slightly lost Itsuki.
