20 20. Family

Itsuki was training in the backyard after he made sure Kushina fell asleep.

The grind never stops!

Itsuki was never one to skip out on training but now he felt it was much more important.

He was confident in becoming strong enough to bitch slap Nagato to oblivion if he visits Konoha after 15 years.

But it's not too bad to be cautious. Who knows if some of the villains decided to come out early?

He had people to protect and that only furthered his resolve to become strong enough to protect his family from any and all threats.

Because nothing is more important than family...

He really had to commend Kushina for creating a gravity seal that stored Chakra and used it like a battery.

She really was considerate when designing the seals, she might have thought he didn't have enough Chakra to operate the seals.

The more Chakra he inputs the heavier the gravity. Thus this form of grind is really good for improving stats.

Itsuki didn't stop his grind...

He felt that his rate of improvement was getting faster and faster and with the help of gravity seals it would only get better and better.

Itsuki got up to go take a shower only to find Kushina was also taking one and without any further words he joined her in the shower which ended up with him balls deep inside of her ,causing them to take a little longer to finish their shower...

"Booo!"

*Giggle*

Itsuki was playing around with Naruko on the sofa, bopping her belly with his fingers, making noises by blowing air against Naruko's tummy causing her to giggle in excitement and glee.

Itsuki also smiled seeing Naruko's infectious smile causing him to nudge their noses together eliciting more giggles from the baby...

....

As the father and daughter were playing on the sofa, Kushina came to the dining room with the breakfast, prompting Itsuki to end their playtime and carry Naruko over to the table. 

"Thank's Honey~" Itsuki gave a chaste kiss to Kushina before sitting down on the table with Naruko in his arms causing the latter to sport a shy smile.

As he had already fed Naruko ,the baby was curiously looking at her parents feeding each other which caused her to flail her arms around and Itsuki promptly picked up the bottle of milk over which she suckled on for a few moments before moving her mouth away from it.

It seemed she wasn't hungry but just didn't want to be left out.

The family of three had a harmonious breakfast as the room was filled with joyous laughter and giggles...

Mikoto and Kushina were speaking to each other in hushed tones as they were whispering something with heavy blushes on their face.

" I-Is it really that good? " Mikoto asked with a blush as she gazed at Kushina who was also looking at her with a shy smile and a healthy blush on her face.

" It really is, It felt like my brain was going to melt and I could barely think straight " Kushina said in a serious tone as if reminiscing the previous night.

Gazing at Mikoto who had a surprised expression on her face Kushina couldn't help but feel bad for her best friend.

'Fugaku is such a waste' Kushina thought with disdain while at the same time feeling proud of her husband.

Both women started gossiping without a care...

Hiruzen was sitting on the edge of his bed while holding a kunai tightly.

He was breathing rapidly and sweating profusely. The Kunai in his hands was shaking as he contemplated whether he should end his life.

Hiruzen had thought of this for a very long time, he was nearly at his limit.

" Sensei... Shun... Minato.... What should I do? " Hiruzen asked himself in a sorrowful voice.

He didn't know if it was incompetence or his cowardice that cost the lives of so many people he knew.

Sarutobi Hiruzen was just a husk of his former self. Currently, he is still living due to his worry about Konoha.

Konoha is the weakest it has ever been. Hiruzen didn't want to accept it... But deep down... He knew it was his best friend's fault.

Hiruzen regretted giving the ROOT to Danzo. Hiruzen right now had an unnatural obsession with peace, to the point where he would avoid any and all confrontation for it.

Sensei died saving him, Sakumo died due to his incompetence, Shun died in his arms along with Kaede, Minato who was supposed to live a long life died before him, and his wife Biwako was murdered.

Hiruzen was in so much pain, that he had nightmares about these events, all of them calling him a waste and blaming their deaths on him. Hiruzen didn't protest because he considered himself their killer.

Hiruzen looked at the Kunai in his hand for a few moments before swiftly throwing it to the ground. He didn't fear death... to him, it was a reward, a release from this painful life. But he can't.....he can't take the easy way out. He has to live.... at least for Konoha, he would make sure to squeeze all the value remaining in this decrepit old body before going down...

In a dark underground base, an old man with an x scar on his chin was gloomily looking at a detailed report in his hands.

"Fuuji Itsuki" He venomously spat before throwing the files away...

Danzo's not gonna live long it seems.... As they say... he is Courting Death!

How do you like the take on Hiruzen, he is not innocent but at the same time not evil.

An old man dealing with his mistakes and beating himself up about it. A man who is being crumpled by the Hokage position favoured by many.

As for Shun and Kaede, smart people can guess who they are and the cause of their death.
