''We would all come to your call at any time, Rimuru-sama.'' Shuna said, with the usual calm and sweet smile on her face.

''I agree with them, Rimuru-sama.'' Treiny said with hers eyes closed.

''Hahahaha! Of course I would come! After all, I really needed to ask you for more of that manga I'm reading!'' Veldora said as he laughed aloud.

A 'vein' popped in Rimuro's gelatinous 'head' upon hearing Veldora's declaration.

''Hoooh? Is that so? Looks like you need to step back from the mangas for a while. It's bad for your health anyway!''

''N-Nani?!''

Rimuru snorted at Veldora's expression of shock and despair and turned to the last member at the table, Milim.

''Of course I would come here! This is the only place I can eat these potato chips-nanoda!'' Said Milim as she put several potatoes chips in her mouth.

A second 'vein' burst in Rimuru's 'head', and his gelatinous body began to shake a little.

''I see, looks like I need to cut your snacks too, Milim. You've been eating a lot of snacks lately!''

Rimuru also ignored Milim's shocked face and calmed down as he remembered the reason for this meeting.

Nodding his 'head' in agreement, Rimuru pulled out of his slime 'stomach'...a really strange book. It is a thick book, which appears to be very old. Its cover appears to be made of some unknown leather, and has an eye design with various magical inscriptions in the cover.

The members present looked with curiosity and with caution towards the strange book in Rimuru's hands.

''.....This is certainly a peculiar book.'' Benimaru said a little agitated.

''This book has a very sinister aura around it...'' Shuna said, worried about Rimuru holding this probably evil item.

''Shuna is right, this item certainly emits a dark and sinister aura. Rimuru-sama, why did you picked up this book in the first place?'' Treiny said in a serious, slightly accusatory tone.

''W-Well, how to say that...it's like he was calling me....and I couldn't let a possibly dangerous item get on the hand of the other Demon Lords! I can't even imagine what Leon or the other Demon Lords would do with this!'' Rimuru exclaimed with some embarrassment on his slime face.

''Hmm, I've never seen this item or anything like this book before, partner. Maybe this is....'' Rimuru looked at Veldora expectantly, for it looked like Veldora might know what this book is.

''Maybe it's a limited edition shounen manga?! No! This dark aura....now I'm sure! It can only be a henta-''

''Veldora! You are banned from reading manga for a month!''

''Eeeeeeeh?! Why?! What did I do! What kind of injustice is this?!'

''Keep complaining and I'll make it two months!'' Hearing Rimuru's threat, Veldora stopped talking as he cried silent tears.

''Milim, any idea what this book is?''

''I don't know-noda. It looks like an old spellbook, but I've never seen a spellbook that gave off so much negative energy-nanoda.''

Rimuru sighed in disappointment as he has no idea or clues as to what this book is.

''Oh, I know-noda!'' Milim rose excitedly from her chair.

''Hm? What is it, Milim?''

''If we don't know what this book is, we just need to open it and see the contents inside-noda!''

Rimuru thought for a while and it really seems to be the only way. If it's really dangerous, they can make protective barriers, and if something powerful is summoned, there are Veldora and Milim to help. But....

'Why do I have a feeling this is going to end badly?' Rimuru thought, but in the end agreed with Milim's idea.
